To the a**ehole on Ebay:

If you're going to bid & win you have to actually buy it!

Just sold my pushchair on Ebay, within 10mins of the auction ending, he messages me saying that he was buying it as a surprise for his wife, when he told her, she said she'd already arranged to buy another one & can he cancel it!

how annoying! i'm pretty sure you can say no he can't - as you said, if you bid and win, you have to buy it. or if you had other bidders you can use 'second chance' to offer it to them - i think the offer would automatically be their highest bid, which is usually like a penny under the winning bid because of the way the bidding system works. hope you get it sorted x

Me and Maria are safe now. We're at my inlaws house but OH is at home. Gonna stay here for a few days and then see. OH says he wants to try family counselling...

I offered second chance to the previous bidder, hopefully they are still interested. I just cancelled the transaction, I thought it would be easier than expecting him to pay & probably having to go through resolution centre to do "unpaid item dispute"

Glad you both are safe!

Natsku I'm so glad you are both safe. And thumbs up to the in-laws for helping you can't be easy to back daughter in law over your own son.

I'm not sure if councilling would work he clearly has mental problems that need sorted. What do you inlaws think? They must know what he is like?

What an idiot. 90% of us mums would want to pick our own pushchair. Communication is the key.

I've 'won' a baby backpack but the seller is being a twat who despite me asking 3 times 'when can I collect' he has yet to respond. Other than to say he can't post - I never asked him to post it! Starting to think he doesn't want to actually sell as I won for £31 when to buy it new is closer to £200.

How long would you give before contacting ebay?

FFS MIL! stop telling people our bussiness! I dont want everyone in the world to know why we need to go to the hospital...and they certainly dont need to know why!

Nosy buggers :/

I hate people doing that. My Mil was telling me about her friends daughter in law being booked in to be induced and details of how far engaged LO was. I don't even know the friend never mind Dil. She and chum both seemed excited to know LO was going to be born by the weekend. I asked 'How does the mother feel?' and she couldn't tell me. I remember thinking 'I won't ever tell you any medical details on mine, your friend has no right to discuss and why are you telling me?'

I was so shit scared about being induced that I was seriously considering doing a runner - thats something I really can't say out loud!

Natsku - very glad you and Maria are safe. Stay safe hun. :hugs:

Mizze xx

Natsku - Good to read you're safe! Hope things work out for you :hugs:

Sophie - Please sleep, mummy gets grumpy when you refuse to sleep for 2 nights and I prefer to play with you instead of staring at you like a zombie!

Natsku, I'm so glad you guys are ok! Was worrying about you all night! :) you must do what's best for your family. By all means try counselling, but he obv needs help too. :hugs: stay safe! Xx

Have you paid him yet??

If you come home late again without phoning or texting me to give me a heads up you -will- be on the sofa tonight. The first time, you appologised and promised that if it looked like you would be late again you would give me a bell so I didn't worry.....so what happens monday? You are almost 45 minutes late and your excuse? I forgot I had my phone with me.....after we had a discussion just before you left the house 4 hours previously about you taking it with you. You get at least 2 nights away from the house a week to play sport, not including matches or tournements and I think that is good for you, but please have the decency to remember your promises about not making me worry.

No I was going to pay on collection. But I want it for going away in 10 days so if he's going to play silly buggers and pull out I need to know so I can find another one IYKWIM.

Tommy, if you pay on collection, there is no record of it with Ebay or PayPal. I always pay for things through PayPal so if there is a problem, I can get my money back

You'd pay via paypal even if you were picking the item up? I'm just not sure if i was to pay now and he doesn't arrange a time to collect then I've got a fight to get my money back. If I stick with payon collection and he doesn't arrange a time then I've not lost anything. Mmmmmm
