I always use the applicators & find that when i do put the preseed in 15 mins before,it kinda "melts down" providing the right amount of lubrication needed on the outside (2g is just right for me).did try 3g to start off with,we were slipping all over the place!. HStein-im also due Af on 18 oct & im now 5 dpo.although not feeling hopeful as i think i didnt ovulate this time round.got a day & a half of + opks,then went neg after that.however i didnt get no temp rise until 3dpo .but,only time will tell .F x'd for all of u & to us all,x.

Too funny on the embarrassing stories!!! I know when I was a teenager I had my own special something that ran through batteries like nobody's business. Well, I wasn't exactly dilligent in discarding them and my mum came in asking why I had so many used batteries just laying around on my nightstand (must have been at least 20-30) . I'm sure she had a clue as to what it may be.

Well, we tried the pre-seed last night! Used 2g with a drop around entry for good measure. It was fine enough I suppose -- DH approves. Only problem is that I'm pretty sure I had already ovulated at that point... it felt like my cervix was very low and took several positions before it was comfortable. Does anyone know whether this is an indication that O has already happened?

Oh, and maria, the reason why the hpts were not included is that the whole envelope looks like it had been ripped open. So they either fell out, or someone in the USPS was nosey and thought they'd come in handy. (Canada Post note said it reached them in that condition). I've e-mailed early-pregnancy-tests.com to see if there's any way they might be able to do something as I really don't want to go to Canada Post with a grievance for them to resolve. 1) I would have to give them back the whole package and contents, 2) I lost something that was included free, 3) it's lube and pregnancy tests we're talking about here

I bought some preseed today. Why does it have applicators? Can you not just use it like ordinary lubricant?

oh you can, they say but they also give the option with the applicators which I think most use

Every tome this thread comes up with an unread message, i get all excited it'll be a When is everyone testing? My is due between Monday and Thursday, not 100% sure as keep having different length cycles lately

How many does this lucky thread have now? Can we update the title as i think it's atleast 2 isn't it?

I think I counted 8 total earlier today! Could be wrong though! Either way... Definitely lucky! Must be lots of here!

SHayzee, sounds quite familiar with the OPK's. I used the ClearBlue digital OPK's both morning and afternoon and I got a - result on Sunday (2 Oct) afternoon which had me bummed because that was the last of only 2 nights we were able to BD this cycle (OH works out of town, I had to drive 3 hours each way to spend those critical couple of nights with him, LOL). I got the smiley-face (+) on Monday morning (3 Oct) and again Monday afternoon and it was back to - the very next morning. I'm hoping it is a positive sign that I started my surge late Monday and that's why it was back to neg so soon. I am not temping.

Dont be upset that you Bd 2 nights in ur cycle-they could have been very crucial! I took this from off the net :"Once an egg is released, it is able to be fertilized for a time period of 12 to 24 hours. This is important to keep in mind, since identifying the LH surge will better enable the couple looking to become pregnant to successfully fertilize the egg within that time frame. After 24 hours, the egg begins to disintegrate. Since sperm can live in a woman's body for up to five days, it's ideal in many cases to have intercourse even before ovulation to maximize the opportunity for fertilization" . - And hats off to you for driving 3 hours each way to be with your OH-the lengths we girls will go to, to conceive! Just used Preseed for the first time last night! Filled the applicator to 2, and that was perfect for us. DH liked it! Hopefully it helps us get our !!!

I'm going to use it for the first time this month, but not until I'm a bit closer to O, it's a bit expensive to use it all the time.

Well ladies I am out for this month, AF showed up this morning, but we are quite cheerful about it... the sooner she showed up the sooner we can get started on another cycle.

I really liked the pre-seed and will keep using it - actually tossed out the astroglide weeks ago.

Good point! ( where are all the orignal posters in this thread- how you all getting on? I'm stalking this thread all the time! I'm just about to embark on my second month with preseed! Fingers crossed! xx

Hi lovely ladies. Just to let you know, I got my BFP today! First month using Pre-seed. I don't know if it was down to that, or just down to luck, but it definately didn't do any harm!
