TTC after BCP's

Good luck JJay, I'm sure you've already read my views on early testing, but if not, to summarise DO NOT TEST TILL AF DUE better still wait until late. I think anyone who has tried for a while and tested early, says they get deflated by the BFN's, so better to wait although I do know it's easier said than done.

hey all been into london today...tested yesterday and but was only 10DPO...or 6 if i ovulated on 2nd posetive opk lol...am gunna wait til 29th (when am on hols) to test again as willl be 14 days after 2nd posetive opk.will let u know june 9th when am home, by then will be well into my next cycle...think is best idea...but got a gut instinct next month is gunna be my month...not this....lovely ladies how are u all i miss u...welcome newbies xx

Aw hi Maybe sorry to hear that but it was probably just too early, best to wait until af is late. Well ladies I am 10 dpo and am not feeling much(despite what my journal says, just got carried away last night) and still think I'm going to see the ugly face of the in about 4 days. I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend so far!

Where is everyone??? I had to take a couple days off of B and B (aka my distraction) I needed to catch up on some school work before the semester ends. I have been updating the team list as the bfp's come...we have a total of 6 bfp's that I know of...tiggercats, jennifer89, buttons1, Mrs. Doddy, garkats 23and FBbaby

I was due for the either yesterday or today but have gotten two ugly soooo I'm not feeling very confident obviously! I have already placed an order for some opks and preseed for the next go around.

Age(only if you want): 36

How long you were on the pill: around 13 years then had a break for around 1 year and most recently on again for around 18 month (ish - not totally sure!)
How long have you been off the pill: since 29th March
Months/cycles ttc: I am on cd1 of cycle 3
Are your cycles regular since coming off the pill: 1st was 32 days, 2nd was 28 days
What made you realize you were ready to start ttc: Approach of my 36th birthday and a programme on TV called The Great Sperm Race!

Welcome Claire! "The Great Sperm Race"? Sounds interesting!!

So has anyone else noticed changes in their hair/skin since stopping BCPs? I thought my acne was GONE but really I guess it has just been BCPs all this time. My skin is SO oily - I swear I could easily wash it 2x a day...and my hair too - GAH!

Welcome Buds!!! I'm going to add you our list and I hope in no time at all you have a nice big graduate under your name!!!

The skin and hair here have been wretched!!!! The oilyness I've only noticed this month but the zits are here(worse this month) and while I was on the pill they were not! Proactive doesnt work!!!!! Dont spend 56 bucks a month!!! Been there, done that, bought the teeshirt!

So ladies as some of you know I am 5 days late but I am waiting until I get my package in the mail of ttc goodies (opk's, hpt's and preseed) until I test. I got a bfn 14 and 15 dpo<----- not sure if I calculated right though??? I'm not getting my hopes up but there is still a minut chance since the has failed to make her appearance!

Where the heck is everybody...what a sleepy thread!!! I'm going to get this thread back to life since I'm all done with school now and I have nothing but time for the rest of the summer!!!!
Well the drama in my life that some of you know about is I might have the beginnings of a bfp but I'm not too sure atm. I have posted pics in my journal and in the pregnancy test gallery. I'm going to the dr tomorrow so I will come back with tons of answers...I think?? I hope! I'm 7 days late for af, I havent been late since December and I just dont know what the hell is going on!!
I hope everyone is doing good and I'm sorry I havent been blowing this thread up like I should be but school was kicking my arse!!!

The graduates list is up to date we have 6 lucky ladies. Yes my drama is quite exciting unless you are me! Well anyways as I said in my journal I just got back from the dr's and I recieved a lovely parting gift of a so now I'm just waiting on the to look at her calendar and realize that she needs to leave Brazil and come over to my house for a visit...I've given her a week and one day extra of her vacation! How is everyone else? If there even is anyone else these days besides tiggercats.

hi ladybugg and every one else,ive been really busy lately,tired and feeling a bit crap,so havent been around for a while,

i had my 1st appointment wednesday with fertility specialist and it went ok,
all the appointment was to see the nurse before i see the specialist,
she went through my details,checking-weight,height,did i smoke,drink etc
what tests ive had done,bloods scan,
what my cycles are like.(or not like)

i have my next appointment on 1st july with specialist,i have to take oh with me to that one so they can ask him a few questions.

the nurse also said i would have to have another scan,(internal) on that date as the specialist likes to do it herself.
she also gave me a bottle for a blood test to test my testosterone again,this is to be done at the drs between cd2-5.(if i get to that stage before my next appointment),and oh has to get his sa to the hospital asap.thats about it i think.....

I'm just back from my hols, got me while I was away. On CD10 now but no idea how long this cycle will be dum di dum, just waiting!

Re the earlier messages, my skin has been terrible since stopping BCP, one big spot after another (
I've not noticed any difference with my hair.
I've also noticed AF is very light, only 2-3 days each time and only needed a liner nothing else.

I'm off to bed now back tomorrow...
