TTC & trying to loose weight club anyone?

Hiya just doing a quick catch up, do I need to update anyone on list? (reply with quote to this post).

I have not weighed in this week we are on holiday, also a bit scared as we have eaten out a lot! What it has told me is that I feel better when I eat healthy even if I love the eating out at the time. I will be eating healthy today at least this week! Next week I will get back on track and fingers crossed I have not gained too much :wacko:

Hi! I will add you to the list, of course it is not too late. If you pop by and chat with everyone and report your progress or down days I am sure it helps. What day would you like as your way in day and what do you want as your goal? We can put the full amount or a smaller goal it is entirely upto you. I have put my bigger goal but others prefer to set smaller goals. :) Fingers crossed you get your bfp quick. :dust:

Thanks! :) I think I'll weigh in on Fridays, that's when I have done it in the past so hopefully it can help me get back into the swing of things more easily and motivate me about weighing in consistently! Go ahead and put 50 pounds as my goal, since ultimately that is what I want to lose, even if I have to (HOPEFULLY) take a PG hiatus ;)

Mine's 9lb loss total now as I lost 2lb this week :happydance:

I have stayef the same weight this week. So depressed at the moment, I'm finding it hard not to comfort eat. Also my mum has now been diagnosed with breast cancer, so feeling even more down. My eating is becoming really erratic. I'm either starving myself or eating the wrong things. Really don't want to jeopardise my weight loss so far. Aaaaargh.
 
I have stayef the same weight this week. So depressed at the moment, I'm finding it hard not to comfort eat. Also my mum has now been diagnosed with breast cancer, so feeling even more down. Wonderland79 I am really sorry to hear about your Mums diagnoses. It is hard not to comfort eat when you are having such a difficult time. You must try not to 'starve' , easy for me to say. Eating healthy helps us cope with stress. Also do not sit in silence, grab support from around you that's what family and friends are for. You have us here on B&B too and if you ever need to talk sound off you just have to say, pm me I am always loitering online. x :hugs:

I'm halfway there - 10 down, 10 to go before I reach my first goal!

Well done on the losses ladies! Thanks for the good wishes too. I had a sneaky peek to see what damage our weeks holiday has done lol. Not too bad, a two pounds gain so think I can get back on track! I am in my tww now, thinking well we have done all we can this month and I am not going to symptom watch....honest! :wacko: x

I'm thinking two pounds from a vacation isn't bad at all! I ate ate Sonic last night, and I'm up a whole pound from that one meal! :dohh:

hi all can I join please I want to lose weight to feel more comfy in pg. I recently lost 3 stone but regained about 9lbs now and I can feel it would like to lose aleast a stone but need about 2 to be a healthy weight not sure what diet im gonna follow yet I have no will power anymore. will weigh myself in morning and just start healthy eating till I decided im used to fast results so I get bored easy

Of course you can join! What day would you like me to put as your weigh in on the list and what would you like as your goal? I have tried many things over the years diet wise lol and yes know what you mean about the getting bored easy and it is finding something that is not too faddy that you can stick to it forever. I use fitness pal it allows me to eat what I want within recommended calories etc. Plus its free and has a smart phone app and a community bit (not that I use that bit). In the past I found Weight Watchers good though found it harder to lose when I used it recently. I was told by my specialist to do low carb while ttc and low carb seems to make a big difference for me. It is different for everyone right? Maybe some of the ladies here can share what they are using. Sounds like you have the right idea though in simply healthy eating! :)

Hi all! How is it going? Well I had the dreaded weigh in today and I am pleased to say my week and a bits holiday has only caused a 1.5 gain. :yipee: I am relieved considering we ate out a lot, I did try to be good when I could. I am hoping for a 2 lb loss this week, that is my mini goal. :)
 
Down another 2lbs this week yepee and we just booked our holiday to America yesterday for November so can't wait never been and how cool would it be to be down another 20lbs before going and to HAVE to buy loooads of new clothes cos the old ones are hanging off me ��any excuse

When I weighed in this morning I weighed EXACTLY the same (to the ounce!) that I did last week. A little frustrated since I watched my food/calorie intake very closely (I use fatsecret.com as well as their phone app). :growlmad: Admittedly, I didn't/don't exercise as much as I should; I work full time and I go to school, so when I'm not working I'm usually just want to RELAX. I finish classes/graduate in October so hopefully at that point I can spend the time I usually devote to classes in the gym :thumbup:

Frustrating but you did not gain! I can never understand weeks I have been good and don't lose and weeks i think I have gone off track and I have lost! I have to say I have not fit much exercise in either, it is a time thing fitting it in is impossible some days. Good look for the coming week :hugs:
