Because everyone is comfortable with drinking an entire glass of milk from a cows udder made for a baby cow to drink but find it very weird to drink a glass of human milk made for humans I just dont understand that logic?

ok i just watched the video again and the mother says how they talk to her breasts, touch them and dont like her wearing a bra. IMO that is not healthy for a 8 year old

I don't think it is either tbh. Its like her 8 year old owns her mothers body. Amelie BF but she doesnt draw pictures or talk about them 24/7. She calls BF 'boo boo' but she doesn't name individual breasts.

There are other ways to give your child breast milk if you want to continue that, as well as other ways to be close to your child. The child will probably end up having detachment issues as well when she grows up. IMO this is definitely beyond prolonged.

made for human babies though.... not human adults so to me drinking a glass of cows milk is much more normal then my drinking breast milk

cows milk is for baby cows though, not adult cows and defo not adults of a completely different species.

I havent read the entire thread but i dont agree with it .......

the whole why drink cows milk etc we eat animal meat dont we so why not the milk?
how much do we use milk in cooking to get cheese yogurt make sauces....i'm pretty sure if we stopped using cows milk and we had to use breast milk.....there wouldnt be enough to go round the whole population and there would also be plenty of pissed of women being used like cows!

years gone by ...The would eat everything they could from an animal, they didnt have a tesco to pop to.... they would not waste anything, even drinking the blood if need be (which still happens in secluded villages in Africa)
i dont see anything strange about drinking cows milk as surely then i would feel the same about eating the meat.

seeing an 8 year old being bf has the same reaction to me as seeing an 8 year old still being bottle fed, spoon fed or walking around in a nappy or with a dummy in their mouths. not right! jmo. x

I agree. I dont think anything of drinking milk as I eat animal so why not drink it, its not bad for us? I dont actually like milk on its own but I will have it in tea! My kids really like soya milk too!

I keep looking at my 7 yr old. NO way would I be BF him, I dont get it? I dont get why you would want to at that age anyway?? Ok, even my 5yr old seems to grown up really.

We do have the teeth to eat meat though and do process cows milk so surely its natural and normal to eat them

No because im not a baby. Yes human milk for human babies but adults havebbeen drinking cows mipk for 10,000 years, i think thats long enough to class it as normal.

Its not natural as far as western society is concerned. In other cultures BFing older children is normal and natural.
