Warning All Pregnant Women: Miscarriages From H1N1 Vaccine As High As 3,587 Cases

As for 'putting crap in your body', we're so far advanced in medical 'science' I don't think they're going to vaccinate people with something that's going to cause mass harm to society?!

The FDA couldn't care less if we put poison in our bodies, as long as they're making money off of it.

For example, Aspirin is FDA approved and supposedly 'safe' to take as recommended. Think of all the good-hearted people taking Aspirin for a headache. Did you know a common side effect of Aspirin is bleeding of the stomach? I'll pass. I'll take my chances with a headache.

The side effects of most 'FDA approved' medications are worse than the ailment they're supposed to cure. But I guess the FDA still cares so much about your safety!

Get a grip! You're taking it to extremes now, I think you are just bored and looking for a fight!

Crumbs, it's funny the number of people who do their "research" on the internet without the benefit of a degree in immunology.

Yet again mums and mum2be's scrapping over who knows best.

The fact of the matter is that there is ZERO medical evidence that there is any links to the H1N1 virus and miscarriages. Just like there was ZERO medical evidence that there was any link between MMR and autism. Just a loat of hysterical nitwits with a love of a good conspiracy theory.

The outcome? Well we now know that if mothers had not have been terrified by internet "research" on MMR, measles would have been erradicated by now and children's lives would have been saved. Similarly I read that whooping cough is back with a vengeance due to the anti-immunisation lobby and, in California alone, 9 children have died so far this cycle (the disease apparently comes in 5 yearly cycles). Luckily the smallpox vaccine was initiated before the internet loonys became obsessed with the evils of vaccination or that deadly disease would no doubt still be rampant around the world too, killing babies and children, and not be totally wiped out through.... wait for it.... vaccinations!

There is a reason 99.999999999999% of mothers in the first world no longer die in childbirth. There is a reason we no longer die aged 25 of our rotting teeth. It is called SCIENCE and it is called MEDICINE and we could all do with taking a step back and showing some respect for the miracles that learned scientists/physicians around the world have brought to our civilisation and the billions of lives they have saved.

I have not had the vaccine as I haven't been offered it, however I gave it to my two year old son last winter and I am very pleased that I did. Flu kills several children every year. Vaccinations do not. End of story.

I do not object to the original post as I've come across this type of rubbish so often that I can smell the deceit and stupidity of the source a mile off. What I do object to is that, unfortunately, quite a lot of people are not sufficiently educated to be able to discern fact from fiction, therefore TPTB should be more responsible and remove the posts.

PS - those that cry "I've read what is in the vaccine and I'm not putting that sh*t in my body". How one earth do you think vaccinations work? What type of sh*t do you think was put into the smallpox vaccine, or the tuberculosis vaccine that went on to save billions of people's lives?

OMG...love it!

I keep coming back to this - why would anyone take an untested/under tested drug? We are humans not sheep.

Sorry to drag this up from a few pages back, but you are clearly lucky enough to have never been faced with a decision about medication that makes your life LIVABLE.

I had to make a tough decision about a medication that has no human data about taking it while pregnant (no data positive or negative). If I don't take my medication, I cannot work, I cannot drive, I cannot do much more than sleep off and on all day... and I would NOT have a healthy pregnancy if I spent the whole time sleeping. I would hurt myself from fatigue-induced clumsiness. Its a risky choice, and I'm aware of that... but there are risks too for me if I don't take my medication.

Meanwhile, this was a new drug when I started it, but guess what? Its the only non-addictive drug that treats my disorder. I feel 100% normal when I take it, am not constantly feeling like I'm in some kind of drugged stupor. I'm not amped up, have been on it for 6 years with no side effects.

I agree that you don't always need an aspirin for a headache... but there are times when fear of medication would cause needless suffering and harm.
There are women who have to take blood pressure medications while pregnant that have KNOWN risks to their baby... why? because the risk of the blood pressure going untreated is GREATER.

Its fine if you are lucky enough to not have to face this kind of choice, but do please try to imagine what it must be like for other people who have real health concerns.

I find your monologue to be quite fanatical and it represents the very attitude you claim to oppose. You attribute vaccines for eradications but there are so many other factors to take into account. Vaccines are only one piece of the puzzle. Without better health, nutrition, exercise...vaccine would not save your life. Besides, you cannot prove a vaccine saved a life. An individual can contract the very illness they have been vaccinated for and it has happened many times. I am thankful for modern medicine but that does not mean I will take a vaccine when I have a family history of vaccine injury. Vaccines are voluntary and everyone deserves the right to informed consent. Everyone should know the true risks of vaccines and the true risks of disease. There are risks to vaccines and you are minimizing that fact and being dramatic.

blutea - the problem is that you keep thinking your experience is enough reason to worry that everybody should skip vaccinations.
Yes, we all should know the risks, but the overwhelming majority of people will have little to no side effects from the vaccines, and shoving all the 'scare' data in their face will deter some people from getting vaccinated when it would not have harmed them to do so.

The only evidence you ever give for better health and nutrition eradicating disease is from biased and unscientific sites.
3rd world countries still have horrible health, sanitation and nutrition yet see dramatic reduction in death rate for diseases because of vaccinces.

No, lisaf, I have not told anyone not to vaccinate. I don't care if you shot down my souces and links to make yourself feel better...that's fine...but DO NOT presume to know what my intentions are!

You never tell anyone not to vaccinate, you just share links or articles that have completely unfounded scary statistics about vaccine risks.
I'm not saying there are not risks, but the data you provide is inflammatory and unsupported.

You always say you support everyones decisions, but the way you share data seems to only have the purpose of 'educating' people about these 'facts' of how dangerous vaccines are and then dismiss their benefit to individuals and society.
I'm sorry you feel that I'm misunderstanding your intentions. I am not questioning the judgements you've made for yourself or your family.
But by posting this stuff you are either trying to justify your own choices or sway people to make the same choice you did. I don't see how it could be anything else.

Vaccines come with warning packets and the list of known reactions is available from reputable sources... so why not use that data?

I do not dismiss vaccine. I'm just not fooled by all the pro vaccine hype and propaganda. I think it's important to be opened minded and to recognize that there are two sides to the issue. However, that does not mean everyone will agree.

Show me the warning packets and the list of known reactions available from reputable sources that you are refering to.

Unlike the websites you have linked to... the sources that are often blamed of hype and propoganda are held to certain standards and cannot just say whatever they want. The official sources must have proof to back up their claims.
Or at the very least support from the medical community.

I'd hardly call the studies and research that support vaccines "hype and propaganda".
