Hey Everyone

Burnsforbaby - keep hope, it only takes 1 time for it to happen.

Me on the other hand has AF due today and I defo feel like it will be here any mo.
This is our 9th month ttc baby #1 and I'm getting REALLY down about it not happening!!!!!!EVERYONE around me is preggo or trying and I just want it to be my turn - bored of BFNs is an understatement

thanks & i know i you feel my sister and 3 of my friends just had thier babies & another friend is pregnant. its like a huge slap in the face. :/

so do my temps look good ovulation wise? im getting nervous & then some i just want all this ttc to finally be done with. i don't know how girls go 2-10 years ttc & get nowhere, and im only 13 months ttc! its crazy to me!

It's sooo hard!!!! I'm struggling with it at the mo, I get like this every month it's a neg and my fella gets annoyed with me.
I've waited 5 years for him to be ready and now 9 months on top of that coz it won't happen. Then everyone is like so when are you guys having a baby. I just want to slap them in the face and say I'm trying!!!!!!

I'm not temping as I don't get consistent or accurate temps, so I don't really get it.

People who try for ages have a strength I don't think I have.
Fingers crossed it will be our turn soon x

Been trying for 9 months now. bd'd sunday weds and friday and probablly today, had a faint positive opk weds, thurs and a dark positive friday then a faint positive yesterday. hoping for a sticky bean finally!!

Well, I've been TTC for...almost 3 years (35 cycles, but my cycles are short. I'll be officially 3 years in July) and I can tell you, it doesn't get any easier to see BFNs or have AF come....the TWW doesn't get any easier either. That feeling of being left behind, watching other people get pregnant before you (or even have two kids in the time you've been trying) is so hard some months. But everything happens for a reason....One day, it will all become clear.

There are some months when I know a symptom is probably an AF symptom, but there's always that little bit of hope that it's a preg symptom....and the let down is pretty devastating. 35 cycles of disappointment...But, there's always hope for the next cycle. You've just got to stay positive! I keep reminding myself that it might not happen now, but one day I WILL get a BFP and have a baby. Of course, there are times when I feel like giving up, but if I give up, I definitely won't get preg, so I just keep going.

Try not to let TTC get you down! You can do it ladies! We're going to have our babies and we will appreciate them all the more because it took some time to conceive them.

I'm doing an IUI this month too, but medicated. I've just finished my Clomid and now I'm just doing injections of a drug called Puregon to stim my follies. I can barely wait for the TWW...I've got maybe another week, but I hope I follow you to a BFP!

I have a friend who was TTC for 5 years before she got her BFP. I was there thru it with her... I know how terrible of a stuggle it can be. With that said, anything you try at, you can conquer! You WILL get your BFP. And you are right, if you give up, it wont happen. Have you tried IUI before? What methods have you tried?

AFM- I had 3 rounds of IUI before becoming pregnant with my daughter. I felt so lucky to have it work so efficiently. I am not in a rush to become pregnant, but I have a unique kind of situation... we only have 3 vials of sperm leftover for a sibling. and our donor is now gone, with no vials left for purchace... so if I do not get pregnant in these 3 tries... our daughter will not have a chance for a full biological sibling... and seeing as our donor is black and I am white... changing donors, even if we try to get the same skin tone and features can change a lot of the next child's appearance...

BUT back to POAS... I've decided that 7dpIUI I will poas everyday.. just to relax myself... its the not knowing that kills me. sound like a good idea? lol.

DBZ34 - I completely agree. It gets difficult to see others having babies and going to baby showers - and on top of that, friends asking when we're going to have a baby. And I have started to see baby stuff everywhere! Radio commercials, department stores, people, television - I guess the more I want it the more I notice it. But it is tough!

We'll make it through this and we will all have beautiful and healthy babies very soon

And update from me. I started the two week wait here, about 3 weeks ago. Guess what? Still in the 2ww, more like 3ww! haha. I took an ovulation predictor test two days ago, showed a darkening test line. I took one yesterday night and the test line was darker than the control, showing a +opk! It was shocking because I thought I had already ovulated! And I thought I was in the 2ww period. But I guess not! I ended up ovulating super late in my cycle! Starting the 2ww again

just wanted to share our idea for managing a lng TWW and then facing bad news..,

We schedule an exciting must - do- treat only if AF arrives for eg mid week movies or something...that way there is sometyhing to look forward to even if AF does arrive

also its completely up t my husband to arrange...so I get a bit of pampering to get through the horrid times!!

AfM -I'm 37 trying for my last child. We just used femara 5mg and a double iui. I'm now in the tww period ahhhhhhh. I'm trying to stay calm. I can't remember who said it but I think it's a good idea to have something to look forward to only if af comes. I think I'll tell my husband tonight to think of something to surprise me with just in case af comes. I'm pretty hopeful that this is our month. I think I'm calm but I'm not sure the way I've been following so many threads.

Double IUI? awesome! I've heard great things about those! Have you had any "symptoms" or anything?

AFM-Yeah, I'm 6dpiui right now... and I still have a "high" reading on my OPK.... I threw them away... its too much to deal with... so, apparently my Estrogen is still high... I just keep telling myself it must mean it worked, but to be honest...I don't know. I'm just trying to convince myself that my opk kit wasn't faulty.

It truly only takes one time. That's how both my others were conceived. My DH worked out of town. Plus they say its not good to BD every single day due to lower sperm count. My Dr advised every other day rather than every single day so no worries. Hopefully your O day doesn't change and you can officially be in the TWW. FX for you!!!

well we were every other day, thats whats worrying me cause i dont know if my husband has good sperm or not, im just so nervous. lol! we bd on the 9th, 11th & 13th. so right now the sex of "could be baby" is fair game, AHAHAH! my lower half is like throbbing right now its driving me crazy. ahaha!

I've been stalking & praying for all of you for your BFP.

AFM: I'm 44 & have been TTC our 1st intentionally since 12/2011, prior to that we were ntnp & had 2 unsuccessful pregnancies in 5/2010 (chemical) & 10/2010 (mmc @10wks, d&c done 12/3/2010. The most recent pregnancy was 11/2012 but ended as a chemical. I went to a fertility specialist in 1/2013 just for testing & diagnosis. We both passed with flying colors. Well this morning @15 dpo I decided to test & got my BFP, the lines came up before I could even put the test down. It was a FRER & not FMU. I confirmed it later today with a $$ store cheapie. Obviously I'm nervous as hell but I'm going to stay calm & relaxed this time around.

Please pray that this one is a sticky bean & I will continue to pray for you guys to get your BFP. Never give up!!!

CoNGRATS!!!! Have you tried progesterone once you become pregnant? ive head that can help.
