Hi. I'm new to this board and actually new to TTC. I'm 40 and had a MC in January (at 5 weeks). That was my first pregnancy.

This is my first cycle since and I'm in my two week waiting window. My opk was positive on day 13 so I assume I have a 26 day cycle. I'm not really sure. Sorry if I'm not using all the right lingo, like I said I'm brand new to this and looking for similar situations and support.

I've taken a test every day this week but my "calendar" says I should wait until Monday the 24th. There is no way I can hold out that long. I have a stockpile of tests in my sock drawer and I just can't help myself. I heard you're most fertile after an MC so my fingers are crossed.

So sorry to hear about your miscarriage. They are the worst.

Yeah, it's best to wait until either the day of expected AF or the day after but i understand how hard that can be. I normally can't wait either. Best of luck and I hope that saying goes in your direction.

keep me posted! i'm 7dpiui now... and dying to test... I bought the first response, for the 6 days sooner test results.. I expect it to be a BFN based off when I got pregnant with my daughter, and tested on day 14, I got a FAINT positive line. when I went in for my beta test the next day, it was only a 14!!! so, I will be poas for shits and giggles instead of actually expecting an accurate response... but on the plus side, my breasts do not hurt, which is typical for my AF... so whoo-hoo to that.

How is everyone feeling today?

Ooh, how exciting! I can't wait to hear the outcome for you. I hope it's a BFP!!! I get my IUI next Wednesday. I'm super excited and hopeful!

Hi all!
I am new here! just joined today! So I have a calendar that predicts ovulation however idk how accurate it is. I had a period starting 12/19/13 (I stopped taking Ortho Evra at this time) it was a normal 5-6 day period. I had another on 1/17/14 which again was normal. I was due this month on the 15th but no AF as of yet. My boobs hurt but thats not uncommon for AF. I'm tired but I am also working towards graduating college in May. CM is thick but clear not milky. I did have a small amount of brown spotting on the day AF was due. I felt like it may still be too early to test but I just couldn't take the anxiety anymore and I got this faint line. The more I read up the more I find that CVS brands especially blue dyes are known for having strong EVAP lines... Is that what this is?? I am going to try again in the morning just curious what others think??

That looks like a positive to me girl!!!

I've been stalking & praying for all of you for your BFP.

AFM: I'm 44 & have been TTC our 1st intentionally since 12/2011, prior to that we were ntnp & had 2 unsuccessful pregnancies in 5/2010 (chemical) & 10/2010 (mmc @10wks, d&c done 12/3/2010. The most recent pregnancy was 11/2012 but ended as a chemical. I went to a fertility specialist in 1/2013 just for testing & diagnosis. We both passed with flying colors. Well this morning @15 dpo I decided to test & got my BFP, the lines came up before I could even put the test down. It was a FRER & not FMU. I confirmed it later today with a $$ store cheapie. Obviously I'm nervous as hell but I'm going to stay calm & relaxed this time around.

Please pray that this one is a sticky bean & I will continue to pray for you guys to get your BFP. Never give up!!!

Hey girlies..... well i am feeling pretty confused right now, last tuesday was my fertile week bearing in mind i finished my period last monday. I had unprotected sex from tuesday to sunday. sunday was suppose to be my ovulation day, tuesday just gone, when i woke up and went to the loo and wiped there was light pink blood on the tissue at this point i didnt know where to put myself... since tuesday to now i have been experiencing mild cramping in abdominal area and then when the cramping stopped i had sharp twinges above my pelvic bone which has now gone, then i experienced headaches tiredness and eating loads its having my life.... could anyone please have a good intake on this and be very kindly to give me some advice on what you guys think...... baby dust to all!

Hi everyone I'm new to he thread, I think I only did one post a week ago. Im wishing everyone success.

J Dennis we are in the same time table. Today is 5dpiui. I think you are a day ahead.

AfM -I'm 37 trying for my last child. We just used femara 5mg and a double iui. I'm now in the tww period ahhhhhhh. I'm trying to stay calm. I can't remember who said it but I think it's a good idea to have something to look forward to only if af comes. I think I'll tell my husband tonight to think of something to surprise me with just in case af comes. I'm pretty hopeful that this is our month. I think I'm calm but I'm not sure the way I've been following so many threads.

Thanks! I retested the next morning and saw nothing but still no AF.. I tested with a $tree test yesterday and it looked neg after 3 mins so I just left it at that and ban hour later it was positive! I know not to look at it after 10 mins so I did another today and this is what I got after 9 mins! Is it possible to have a pink EVAP on these cheapies????? Ahh I'm so confused!

evaps have no color they are mainly gray so that is a legit positive.

what the hell is up with my temps.... i still havent gotten a drop yet. im going to test today when i get home to see if i get anything yet.

are my temps good? like they arent dropping like they should like i dont think they should be high and back to back like mine are.

after looking at my chart long & hard i realized that i never put my period in on my chart from jan 27th.... im beyond stupid. smh. AHAHAHHA! oops. well at least it looks more accurate.

Thank you so much ttc, you are 10 yrs younger than me so you should have plenty of hope, you know you can get pregnant so you're already a step ahead, it's just a matter of time when u catch a good egg, I'm sooo hoping I did this pregnancy because this is my last shot. When I took a hpt at 15dpo with last mc pregnancy the line was faint & since I had a dip at 13 dpo I knew I implanted too late which is prob why I miscarried, when I took a hpt for this pregnancy also at 15 dpo the lines which were dark came up before I could even put the test down on the sink so I'm hoping that's a great sign.

I'm always praying for you & all women who have to go through this. The losses you've had to endure was so not fair, I cried my eyes out when that happened, my dh looked at me like I was crazy, men just don't get it. You are so sweet & genuine & it will happen soon you'll see. Tons of baby dust is being sent to you

hey everyone
just wanted to share our idea for managing a lng TWW and then facing bad news..,

We schedule an exciting must - do- treat only if AF arrives for eg mid week movies or something...that way there is sometyhing to look forward to even if AF does arrive

also its completely up t my husband to arrange...so I get a bit of pampering to get through the horrid times!!

I don't know anything about evaps, i've never had one. But i definitely see a line on this. I'd test again in a couple of days and then if another faint, go get your bloods!

I think it looks great. Those temps are staying nice and high. That's a good thing. And you know, you don't need to get a dip for implantation. Some never get that and end up pregnant. It's only for sure legit when you get the dip right when AF is supposed to appear, then most likely you're out. Yours is still looking great! Better now that you put your period in there. well i was starring at it and and i noticed it said dec 26th and i was like uh i deffinatly hada period before christmas, ahahah! and my hubby surprised me last night & told me to get the year package for ff even though he'll be gone for 9 months instead of a year he still wants me to chart so i can get a better idea of my cycles if im not pregnant this cycle. but non of my cycles have stayed this high before back to back ive always had drops even if it was from like 98.35-98.02 then back to 98.28 they have always dropped a bit but not this cycle so makes me wonder. ahaha. i test the other day and it was negative but i figured it was going to be so im testing on the 28th if my period dont show then on the 5th if it dont show. so im hoping we are finally good. even if we arent i hope i regulate while hubby is deployed. any of you live in texas? oh and according to my chart i didnt ovulate last cycle (dec26th) so its very weird, but cool to see that.!

woke up this morning to light cramps & i feel like i have to puke and that i need to puke but i cant. my cervix is literally so high up that i couldnt check to see if it was closed or not but i squatted and let me tell yall.. that puppy is closed tighter then a air-tight bag! aint nothing going in or going out my cervix & its hard like a rock & LOTS of creamy cm. i got a temp dip like i finally wanted but it wasnt below my coverline, i dont know if that matters or not but either way i got what i wanted, i hope i didnt just jinx myself. depending on my temps i might test in two days or ill probably wait to test on friday like i was going to cause according to my phone i should start the 28th but ff says the 1st so we shall see!

As for me, i tested today 12dpIUI... and got a RIDICULOUSLY faint POSITIVE! It was one hell of a squinter, so im not going to say i'm pregnant... but i sure as hell am not going to say no either! I went back to see it a few hours later, and it is a little more visible.. so i took a pic with my camera... I would love to test tomorrow too, but i used my monday test for the double check today! and now both tests are showing (several hours later) more clearly positive.. FINGERS CROSSED!
