What Christmassy thing have you done today?

Delivered gifts to MIL, BIL and SIL. Received gifts from MIL, was supposed to pick up gifts from BIL but he said he's coming over Christmas Eve so assuming he's bringing them then as he did say he'd got the boys something.
Also had an attempted delivery of my secret Santa but was out so got to wait for that tomorrow.

Had our family Christmas with my auntie and cousins. A bit sad this year as my Nan isn't here and also some family members were missing (normal family conflict).
Lovely day playing games, eating and opening presents. Girls got loads of crafty bits so going to have a crafty day tomorrow before my final clean up.

We are doing our food shop and last 2 presents to pick up !

Just made a list of all the food to cook over the next couple of days and their times, I always do the Christmas Eve buffet food and DH always does Christmas dinner so he'll be able to use that to work out what time to start cooking and when to put everything in

I am going to pick up our Christmas food order today and then no doubt feel like killing the hordes of other ppl getting in my way lol

I'm watching the Muppets Christmas Carol, by myself, because it's the best one :haha: drinking hot chocolate with black forest syrup, marshmallows and cream

Bev me too!! Gah!

motherofboys I SO agree! It IS the best and I love it. My boys think it is too sad and are a bit meh about it and don't want to watch. And they don't like that "It's a Wonderful Life" is in black & white and don't want to watch that either. :(

Last food shop done today for anything we will need for over Christmas.

I almost cried at one point and usually I'm ok haha
I've only seen Its A Wonderful Life once and that was a year ago so I'm not too bothered about that one.
Ds2 and I are now watching Scrooged, he's never seen it before. We've got mince pies and alcohol free rosè

Sounds cosy!
I love It's A Wonderful Life cause it has James Stewart in it and he is one of my all time favourite Golden Age Hollywood actors, along with Cary Grant <3

Got to do last minute shopping for the inlaws today as I ran out of time to make something for them. And we are getting fresh stuff for Christmas Day.
It's going to be interesting as we went out to the Mall on Sat to get my DD2 a build a bear and it was manic!

Picked up the last of my presents from argos, last minute hey!! Wish I didnt leave it this late it was so busy on the roads! Plenty of inconsiderate arseholes parking in parent and child spaces :haha:

ugh I hate it when people park in child and parent spaces without kids!

You know what Bev, its mainly old people, what annoys me the most is, there are more disabled spaces than parent and child spaces, yet they park in our spaces without any implication and if I parked in a disabled space I'd get a fine :haha: enough moaning now its christmas haha
