What Christmassy thing have you done today?

I was awake ages afterwards thinking the noise would have woken ds4 and he wouldn't have gone back to sleep

I got to bed at 01:30 only to be woken by my vomiting Ds at 3, that was the rest of my sleep written off. Although he's ill he's in good spirits between boughts of wretching, lying on the couch among his gifts.

Opened presents this morning. The kids were so excited! They got so many and I'm running out of storage space. We went to visit DH aunt and uncle where they received more toys. We went to DH's mums for Christmas Dinner and the kids played with some toys and games. Back home now and they're playing with their toys :)

Poor little guy

Thanks everyone, he's now opened his gifts, although they're sitting in a pile now, and managed a Yorkshire pudding for dinner!! He's good at not pushing himself when he's ill. I remember being ill on several Christmases when I was wee, I felt really sorry for myself then.

Aww bless him. :( I hope he's feeling better tomorrow and can enjoy playing with his presents.

I hope he's better tomorrow. We place so much importance on that one day, but really if he has a great day tomorrow then it's just as special

I remember throwing up my lunch shortly after having eaten it one Christmas. I'd been ill and thought I was better enough but wasn't! The magic takes over though and you still love the day no matter what! As an adult ... not so much. Nearly killed myself with the effort yesterday but everyone else had a good time!

Oh Meep, sorry yesterday was such a trial, hope you're feeling better today?
Ds slept well and has been fine up until half an hour ago, he's quite content to lie in the couch with everything happening around him.

Hope today will be better Meep and you can enjoy some relaxing moments too!

We are going for a boxing day lunch at a favourite restaurant, even though it is pouring! We wanted to go to the toyshop after to spend some of the boys' Christmas money but everything is closed. That will have to wait till tomorrow.

Thanks everyone. My body is still not right following what I am now sure must be a pinched nerve/spinal disc problem from my obsessive sewing (so embarrassing!) as I have had a blood test and somehow do not have any deficiencies or thyroid issues! I am very weak and strained in the arms and not sleeping well so making lunch for six and being useful all day has just about finished me off!! Today is better though now it's just us and the girls. Hope everyone is having a good boxing day!

That's good news about the blood tests although sorry you weren't given any further answers. I hope that you're feeling better soon and enjoy a relaxing day today :)

Yeah, I would have liked something easily fixable to have shown up, but sadly not! Especially considering the dents across my nails - no explanation for those now. :( My next stop is a chiropractor I think.

Hope your day was ok and you did ok with Christmas dinner. :)

Kids still playing with presents today, still excited by the newness

You poor thing Meep! :( I hope your efforts were appreciated at least and that you soon get some relief.
