2/3/4dpo and going crazy already?!?!

My symptoms are pretty minimal at the moment. I've had a few moments of nausea here and there but nothing too horrible and it usually goes away as soon as I eat something. I actually expected it to be worse so either I got away easy or it's gonna come with a vengeance. I've had some headaches as well. I've been fighting off this cold/congestion and it's finally settling down now. The biggest symptom has been exhaustion. Either I need a nap after work or I'm in bed by 10 pm because I can't keep my eyes open.

Yes, I can't wait until Monday either this is so exciting. Hopefully it'll make my weeks go quicker as well. Lol

I did want to do bump pics but I haven't done any yet. I'd need for dh to snap the pic for me but he doesn't seem excited about it. Plus I just look fat right now so they wouldn't be very cute anyway. Lol I asked dh if my stomach looked bigger and he said no so I said so I always look this big and he said yes and I was just sad than because I'm obviously in denial about my weight. I did however park in the "expectant" mothers parking spot today at the grocery. It was packed like you wouldn't believe and I just thought yeah, I'll pass for pregnant. Lol

I've started feeling nauseous when I don't eat so I've had to eat every few hours today, I hope this doesn't carry on otherwise I'll be there size of a house!!

I want to do bump pictures but want to wait til at least 8 weeks when I can buy a Doppler and heart baby's heartbeat whenever I like! I'm just bloated right now, my stomach is usually quite flat but now I have a right pouch lol not attractive!!

I actually laughed out loud that you parked in the pregnant bay lol love that! You deserve it!!!

I'll def share the bump photos when I can talk dh into it. Yeah the bloat will be horrible. I had two days where is just felt like a blimp completely full and swollen and fat. I'm down to only one pairs of jeans that fit still.

I actually got my doppler in the mail today. I couldn't find he heartbeat on it tho I gave up after 20 minutes or so as I don't know how much "exposure" is bad for baby so I didn't want to do overboard. I'm gonna wait until after my appointment Monday. Let the doc tell me everything is ok and then try for it.

Heck, yeah I deserve it. The whole lot was full like full full I would have been walking awhile. If I hadn't needed a certain cheese for this bday party tomorrow I would have totally left but I really needed it. And in the store forget it it was like a traffic jam cart after cart after cart and they had every single register open it was insane. Luckily I was able to get in and get out.

Sounds crazy busy, Saturdays are usually crazy busy at the supermarkets here, to the point I don't usually even attempt to do any shopping on Saturdays, id much rather go during the week in the evenings!

Yeyyhh for bump pictures, did you do a before one? I'm thinking of doing one Monday which will be exactly 4 weeks because I o'd on cd14 this cycle then can do another at 8 weeks or maybe 6 weeks if I see a difference!

I did a bit of research about dopplers but there isn't any conclusive evidence that it's harmful...I will defo be asking doctor/midwife, I don't think my first appointment will be until 7 weeks, so much different to where you are!

It's 9.40am here and I had to get up to pee in the night (NEVER happens to me!) so I'm going to have to hold pee til about 11/12 to test!

I couldn't hold my pee lol so bottom picture is 5 hour hold compared to 8/9 hour hold for the other 3, I don't see much of a progression but I guess that could be why? Frer and superdrug tests tomorrow fmu so hopefully frer is darker than last time and so is superdrug!


Edit: tmi but OH and I bd'd this morning and omg was so sensitive! He is from Africa so let's just say he's well endowed but being with him for many years I have got used to it but today WOW felt like his thing was double in size and every time he hit my cervix it sent shock waves through my body!!! Sorry for tmi lol

There is def progression there. Your tests look great. Ahh I'm so excited for you. I didn't take a before bump pic but I should have. Maybe I can talk dh into doing a pic today if not I'll have to get the full length mirror from the attic. It was taking up too much room and I wasn't using it a lot so I moved it.

Oh boy about dh and sex - honestly dh and I have only had sex once since I found out I'm pregnant bc I am so nervous that I will start bleeding. They say the extra blood flow to your cervix makes it extra sensitive so I would just take it easy. I wouldn't do anything crazy.

I would have had my first appointment at 7 weeks as well the only reason I had it earlier was because I was seeing a fertility specialist and honestly it caused some major un necessary stress especially bc the first time I went it was an empty sac and then I had to come back in 3 days and I never cried so much in my life bc of course I got on bnb and read about all the bad things that could happen but luckily none of that happened but def try now to do too much "research" or you'll drive yourself crazy.

I'm starting to see the progression now I keep looking at the picture lol can't wait to take 2 more tomorrow arrgghh!!! I am beyond excited, and OH is so excited although trying so hard not to get excited until next weekend after af is due etc, I'm deciding whether to book an early scan at 8 weeks or wait til 12 weeks, they are around £80!

Yeah I'm leaving gym for a week until I see doctor to know what is safe! I can't not have sex lol we have rather high sex drives lol!! We'll just have to be careful, I didn't bleed after this morning so that's good!

Ive got a frer, superdrug and clearblue with conception indicator for tomorrow Yeyyhh!! Hopefully I get 1-2 weeks on the digi tomorrow!! I'll post pictures!!

Edit: seems way too early but I've had nausea all day today which has been made worse when I've not eaten recently when did yours start?

An early scan would be nice. I think it's worth the money but not too early 8 weeks would be good.

Yeah I'd hold off on the gym as well, although I'm sure the doc will say you can do most of what you did before you got pregnant. Lol @ can't not have sex. I know dh is going crazy right now.

Today is a bad day for a bump pic, I'm ridiculously bloated. I'm so bloated the top of my stomach is actually hurting like i just did a ton of crunches but only on the top. It's killing me we actually had a bday party to go to today and they did a bit of an after party at his parents house and I kept telling dh I wanted to leave because my stomach hurt and of course an hour later I finally get him to leave. Let's just say I wasn't too happy with him. But now I'm at home laying down and it isn't any better. Ugh

Yay can't wait until tomorrow to see what the digital says. I did actually have nausea at 12dpo but I didn't think anything of it because I do get nausea from the iron tablets I take so I just kinds brushed it off and then later I was like ohhh that was nausea because I'm pregnant lol

Yeah OH isn't too keen on an early scan because I think he wants to wait until it looks like a real baby if you get me?! Lol

I'm so scared of putting the weight back on I've lost (1 stone 10 pounds in total!) and I told OH and bless him he said yes you may but it's all for a reason, to look after a baby!! I was very touched and kind of teary lol!

Booo for bloat, I have defo noticed bloat but I also get like this when af is coming but I don't feel nearly as bad because I can suck it in whereas af bloat is hard and I feel disgusting and can't even suck it in!

I'm lay in bed waiting for OH to wake up so I can do the tests lol it's Sunday and we usually have a lie in together and I think today may be another lazy day My fave! Got a very busy week so I really need it!!

Literally all day yesterday in between eating I was nauseous, I'm hoping it was a fluke and it won't start for a few weeks (if at all...wishful thinking lol?!)

Superdrug progression!! Af due today and not even a sign of her. OH and I have decided an early scan would be best and then we may announce to parents with the scan picture, I'm thinking 8 weeks rather than 7 for a better picture and heartbeat? What do you reckon?

When did you get your 2-3?

Edit: I have such a weird and horrible metallic taste in my mouth, have you experienced this?

Yay!!! So happy to see your progression and the positive digital. That is so awesome. I am beyond excited for you and soooo happy that we can be bump buddies now.

Afm, I have my first prenatal visit with my regular obgyn tomorrow and I'm a bit nervous I've been having some pains in my tummy and it's making me nervous it feels like I just did a ton of crunches. And I have a lot of gas so it's uncomfortable.

Omg talking about gas, I have crazy amounts it's disgusting! I hope your appointment goes well, I'm going to ring the doctors towards the end of this week to book an appointment; too scared to do it too early!!

I am beyond excited now, 4 weeks exactly today! OH is now really excited, that little word totally convinced him lol he started saying about moving house to a bigger one and I'm getting a new car maybe June/July time and he said we need to make sure it's baby friendly lol!! Bless him!! We just need to get through these first 12 weeks, 8 to go!!

Aww I'm so glad your dh can finally be excited about it. That is a massive difference is progression and it looks wonderful. There is something about see those words pregnant that def eases your mind.

Aww yeah dh and I bought a new SUV last February I had an SUV a couple years back but the transmission went so then I got a car and for a whole year I kept telling him...oh, this is not going to work if we have a baby. We were looking for quiet some time too until we found what I have now it's a2007 saturn outlook, I love it. Ironically we just went to look at a house yesterday too. It's was beautiful but slightly out of our price range but it's been on the market for a couple months so our realtor thinks they would entertain our offer. It's in the perfect location too but now that's up to dh to decide bc I said at some point i might not want to work and I want to have options and not be like oh ok well no I have no choice but to work. But dh absolutely loves this house. I mean love love loves this house so well see how the next couple of weeks pan out on that.

I'm not sure if I told you that my bils gf is pregnant(and he's still married to his ex) haha anyway they are having a boy. I'm not very excited for them at the moment because I don't agree with the situation but eh, what can you do? Nothing!

yeah I've decided to do the other clearblue tomorrow because I'm going to buy another 2 pack for 2-3 and 3+ and I've run out of the other tests and want to pee on something tomorrow morning with OH lol! I'm expecting 1-2 again though so don't worry!

yeyyhh for possible new house lol I'm favouring mercedes a class or bmw 3 series or audi a3 but going to wait until end of this year before deciding. I've never had a brand new car, I'm so excited!!!

Just returned from my appointment and it was wonderful. We finally got to hear the heartbeat so that was very exciting. It took forever though. We were there for like 2 and half hours ugh. Now I need a nap. It's very exciting that you can see the arms and legs and such and it actually looks more like a baby then a blob. I text a coworker and she said it looks like a gummy bear lol too cute.
