2 BFP * July 2012 Testers + Clomid/ Femara :)

Question for you ladies- is your period heavier on Clomid? Mine is a lot heavier and is currently heavier after taking 100mg compared to 50mg- do you know why that can be?

I am not sure mine have been lighter. I guess it can just change things.

Kmae- I had not noticed a change with the first round but this cycle I have been spotting since tuesday. I am hoping the full flow will start today but still not having any cramping. (I have never spotted for days before my cycle.. I usually spot & about an hour later its full flow.)

Both estrogen and progesterone help build up your uterine lining. It is thought that clomid increases the amount of estrogen you produce by desensitizing your estrogen receptors.

It makes sense that with an increase in clomid dose would mean and increase in estrogen production and thus a thicker lining... at least that's what I think lol

...but then again I have heard some ladies say that clomid makes their lining thinner

Ah ladies I am freaking out! 9dpo on first round 50mg clomid and I got a BFP!!!!!!!!!! I dropped the test soshocked!! so so scared this will be another mc- but Ive never gotten a positive test so early! always was a week late till I got positives before... so maybe thats a good sign??

I puked in my water bottke on the drive home from work yesterday- so I was a bit suspect lol totally makes sense now!!! Aaaaaaaaaaah im so excited and.scared all at once. Buckets and buckets of baby dust to all! Going to take a digital after work- will post pic!!

Thanks ladies for your feedback! Hopefully the Clomid is just making my lining thicker= heavier flow.

Beautiful, last cycle I spotted then the next day I got nothing and then that evening AF let me know she was here! Did you get your DH's SA results back yet?

AFM, just got back from seeing the RE and am officially on round 3 of Clomid (cd3-7--100mg). If I ovulate before I leave on vacation then we will also do an IUI this cycle!

Hey ladies due to circumstances beyond my control I'm going to be m.I.a for a while.... At least until September!! I wish you all the best of Luck & will try & POP in every now & then . So I am on cd 29. I did not ovulate as far as my 23 day blood work showed. My family dr is sending me for an ultrasound to verify I do have pcos. And also I believe a referral to a fertility specialist. He said it could take a while so in the mean time my husband and I have decided to try birth control. With my second son I took birth control for four months came off and got pregnant after three years of trying so hoping for the same out come. Today I started to have sore breasts just out of no where and not all the time. Is it possible to ovulate late?? I am going to give it another week the. Start the pills if no AF. If it is still ok I would still like to follow this thread. Good luck to all of you. And thanks for all your support.
