Rompy, that's interesting about your doctor saying your lining was thin... I wonder if there are supplements out there that would help that?

Waiting - I'm glad you got the 1000th post! Maybe just maybe... I am trying not to go buy tests and so far I've been successful. It's ridiculous though. I'm only 6dpo and so ready to test. You'll hear more from me on this. It's only going to get worse
Squirrel - did I tell you that I'm doing acupuncture now? I think you gave me that suggestion a while back (someone did). We'll see.

I've read that baby aspirin helps make your lining thicker. I think EPO does too.

I think I saw something about not thinking about TTC and thats exactly what we've been doing.

Good luck to everyone...funny I used to be on this forum all the time and now I really only check in w/ you girls. There are so many new people I feel like a veteran on this site

Well, little good #3000 did for me, but maybe it has a delayed affect! MyTurn got post #4000!

I've been taking baby aspirin for the past month plus some, so I'm hoping that will help. Other than that, I really cut down to where I'm only taking a prenatal and Vitex..... I was driving myself crazy with all the pills....

That's why I try not to keep any tests in the house either. Keeps me from testing early and keeps my DH happy that I'm not spending tons of money to poas.

DH and I have had a great weekend so far. Went shopping, to the zoo, out for a picnic breakfast and dinner & a movie tonight. Been doing our best to get in as much as possible to hopefully catch the egg again. Seems a good number of girls have luck getting a bfp directly after a mc.

This week has been much, much better. thanks. Getting things ready for a trip to Emerald Isle, NC towards the end of the month. It's going to be wonderful to get away and sit on the beach for a week!!

Hello ladies. Im probably out this month. Went for my annual check up on Monday and my gyn told me that there is nothing there so im actually waiting for AF on the 11th. Got a bit sad but im ok now, will be lucky next month.

Oh, so sorry Rompy as the others have said, fingers crossed that your Dr is wrong! And that AF stays well away!!!!

I've been asking around today and I've gotten a few people to tell me that they've done something similar. Doesn't make it better but at least I feel better thinking I'm not losing my mind! Poor DH. His blood pressure went through the roof. I just need to stay away from the kitchen.

Glad you are ok! But now I am considering doing the same so my OH bans me from the kitchen...just kidding. I actually left the oven on overnight about a month ago - it made the kitchen nice and warm when I got up the morning!

Well I wont be around much for the weekend as about to go & pick my sister up for the weekend. We have tickets to go and see Eclipse tomorrow, its sad but I am so excited! Completely living my teenage years again. Hope you all have a lovely weekend. Speak sunday night x

Hang in there maxxi! I know it is hard....I am 6dpo today as well, and for some reason am finding this cycle a lot harder than the last few. I don't know if it helps, but I always tell myself that there isn't much point symptom spotting before about 8dpo anyway, as implantation probably won't have occurred. It helps me to just ignore any 'symptoms' I might be getting. Hoe that the acupuncture goes well - I am interested in this, so will be great to hear how you find it!

I am having a pretty good weekend too so far...it's sunny here but freezing! So trying to stay warm. We went into town to see a play and then watch someone we know play a fundraising gig in a cafe - it was nice. 6dpo and trying to just chill out and not think about things. I had a really full on dream though that one of my friends got pregnant and I was really really upset. Woke up feeling very strange!

My OH and I started looking for things for our bathroom remodel, and then went to a bar with some friends where there was a blues/jazz band playing. Today, just planning to get laundry done, clean, and start demo-ing the bathroom! whoo hoo! Oh also we got a little pool that you set up yourself. It's a 12 foot circle and 3 feet deep. It will be nice to lounge in that when it gets super hot outside! YAY!

Well we're just about to head off for our summer hols. Last 24 hours has been majorly stressful with packing after my sister staying all weekend (Eclipse was amazing!), working today and the car breaking down en route. Still we're here and off to Sri Lanka woo hoo!! Going to be tthf this month. Not even packed opks... OMG. Not sure if I'll last BnB cold turkey for the while time so will probably find an Internet cafe to check in on all the news. Good luck to those testing whilst Im away.

Lucky can you put me down for 10 th August for testing?

This sounds like fun Squirrel! I can’t wait to get stuck into our renovations when we finally get a house to put on our land. I am going to come and ask you for bathroom tips!! Also, loving the pool! It is super winter here at the moment…it took me and my OH about ten minutes to scrape the ice off our car windows this morning before we drove to work! Crazy. Beautiful clear sunny days – but man it’s been cold at night!

I know maxi, the 1WW is much harder…I am struggling a little too, but I feel pretty sure that AF is o the way so am really not trying to get my hopes up at all. I wish I could give you some good tips to survive the week! But really all I try and do is not get my hopes up, consciously tell myself to stop thinking about symptoms, and try and focus on other things as much as possible. All of which I do to varying degrees of success! Oh, and I don’t go into the BnB 2WW section anymore…that doesn’t help when you are trying not to obsess!

Oh my goodness, have the best time away! Wow, Sri Lanka – how amazing. I love that you are not taking any opks or TTC related stuff – I think that’s a great way to do it! Another BnB friend has just got her BFP the month she stopped temping or doing anything. Hopefully it’s the same for you!!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrr IS IT TOO MUCH TO ASK THAT I NOT get a huge gush of bright red spotting around 6DPO that tells me I'm going to be unsuccessful yet again? I mean, can't I have just a shred of hope to help me through the rest of the 2WW? WHAT THE F! Maybe I need a new doctor? It seems like this much spotting would mean there's something wrong.... Not only do I get spotting at O, 5-6 days past O, then for 4-6 days prior to AF, then 3 days after AF.. That can't be normal. But my doctor just says, well I can fix it, but you won't like it.... because she'd put me back on BC! Which I can't take anyway, because of my migraines! WHATEVER! I'm going to stuff my freaking face with a gigantic brownie, feel really sorry for myself for a while, then I'll be back later in a better mood.

Oh Squirrel, so sorry love….rant away, that’s what we are here for. I do think that maybe you are right, it’s time to find another Dr who has some other ideas apart from putting you on BC! I am absolutely sure that this is not the only answer. Do you know of anyone else you could see? Any good recommendations from people you know? I don’t know how into ‘alternative’ solutions you are…but I have had amazing care from a Dr who is both a qualified Dr and a naturopath. So sorry that this has happened again xxxxxxxxxxx

Have you tried Raspberry Leaf Tea? I actually first heard about it on this forum and looked it up online. It is supposed to strengthen the uterus and has been known to help stabilize women's cycles. I can't say that it tastes that good. But, I just started taking it a few months ago and have noticed a difference.

Doctors often seem to jump too fast to medications to solve problems...IMHO

So, apparently I just can't wait. I was trying to wait until Saturday to test, as that would be two days after AF was due. But, the past several days I've been symptom spotting like crazy. And, Sunday night I had a little spotting that only last for a few hours. So, I finally broke down today and tested.

And I got a !!! Actually, I got two, because I didn't quite believe the first one. They were light lines, but definitely lines, no doubt about it! I am so shocked and excited! I called my doctor and they are fitting me in today. I'm so happy to have a doctor that doesn't make you wait until 6 weeks to come in to confirm.

Squirrel I'm so sorry! First off, I wouldn't say that the spotting means you definitely aren't pg because crazy stuff happens, you know? I apologize if you've already posted this, but have you asked a doc about taking progesterone cream? Isn't that supposed to help stabilize and support the womb after ov? Oh gosh, maybe you already got your blood work to test this and it came back normal....? I'm really sorry hon, I wish you weren't spotting like that. I'm sure you can find the help you need to get that addressed though.

Waiting4Baby - have a fantastic holiday! Did you see the solar eclipse or the movie eclipse? I'll keep my fingers crossed for you while you are on holiday - I take it you'll be ovulating while you are away?
