Anyone else TTC/NTNP #2 and have a LO under 1yr?

Redrose I have hypothyroidism and my cycles have shortened themselves by a full week. But im still at 30 days plus... I don't know if 22 days is too short to properly ovulate. Mabey try opk's.?

Army we are kinda just going with the flow still. DD has some issues and we are kinda thinking about waiting a little bit. Not too long though. I want her to have a sibling kinda close in age, but things are pretty hectic right now. The last 2 months though we probably would have gotten pregnant if my cycles hadn't shifted.

just back from the docs he reckons theres nothing wrong with having a short cycle it just depends where in the cycle u ovulate so on cd 15 they are gonna do bloods to check im ovulating, if after two cycles no ovulation they are transfering me to a fertility clinic and im getting a pelvic exam and scan to check nothing happened

Thats good! I didn't know the docs had ways to check for O. When you use opks do you get a positive?

well i usually dont start til like cd 12-14 so the docs have told me to start from cd 2/3 eeek

Lol. Wow. If your lp is in normal range you will be due to ovulate around cd 8 with 22 day cycles.

Hopefully you are just ovulating early and won't need to go to the fertility specialists ;):dust:

Thought labor was starting :dohh: started spotting and having contractions. Contractions ended up fading away and the spotting was from the back :dohh: dh had a good laugh about it

ahh nothing like a false labour! i hope baby comes soon though!

i took the docs advice to start the opks from cd 1.. and today is cd 3/4 and what do u know its nearly positive!!! i never even get a second line so this is a good sign, i reckon it should be positive in the next few days and ovulation should be within the following 12-48 hours! so ovulation is cd 6-8!! the doc was right so now were gonna have to try bd as soon as af buggers off!

Wow early O! Good thing ya know now! You might have been trying way past O!

Redrose: that sounds great that you are still going to o just sooner:haha:

Essie: exciting that you have sorted it all out. Hope things work better for you this time around :hugs:

Army:  I never went into labor but I swore at like 37 or 38 wks I was going to! :haha: contractions were strong and I couldn't sit still. Had this huge urge to walk and we were 2.5 hrs away from home :dohh: I never actually got to go into labor

Afm: we now have a rec center membership. Going to try and lose 20 to 30lbs and we will start Ttc again. Think my being over weight isn't helping us any

Aw how annoying army false labor hopefully it was just your body hearing up for the real thing!

I never had any false labor about from the day before I went into labor I had really really strong bh that I thought were contractions but when I went into labor the next day I knew the days before were definitely not real contractions lol.
I am so jealous you are already at that stage lol I can't wait I really hope I get to go into labor I have been wishing to the wishing fairy pretty hard.

You're over half way there kristie! I hope you get a labor delivery too! even though it can be excruciating its rewarding too :D

Darlin: i really think me losing 30lbs or so helped me conceive ds. Hopefully thats the kickstart your body needs.

Afm i did some googling and found out i have a thrombosed hemmorhoid  basically a bleeding hemmorhoid. It has shrunk a lot and seems to be healing thank god. But i am still unsure where the bleeding is coming from, i know it is def. Coming from the hemmorhoid but then when i wipe in front i see blood that looks to be mixed with my urine.....so im really confused :dohh:
i have an appt friday but because of all of this i might just drag ds in with me tomorrow.

Have any of you brought your kiddos with you to an appt?? I'm nervous to bring him cause if i take him in the stroller he usually only sits still for so long and then he will start flopping around and crying.

I took DS with me back in December and he does the same thing! If I needed to I would tho. He comes with me to the reg dr. To get bloods done for my thyroid all the time. Not my favorite but not the end of the world.

We were just talking and I told DH I want to have another baby or be expecting by Christmas 2014. So we are going to pay off the couple of bills we have and start saving. We need to move by then too. This house just will not work for 4 of us comfortably. He's stressed about it but knows it is what needs to happen.

Hope you get your rainbow baby soon darlin! And hopefully your dh won't be too stressed about it. You'll have lots of time to get things in order.

Oh ladies my head is spinning and I am in dire need of some advice :help:

Talking to Oh about housing, his schooling, work etc. his parents live about 2hrs northwest of us and near a Honda plant. Bret could get a good job there probably and could prob finish school quicker there. The only problem is we'd have to sell the house. I said I'd be willing to be In a small apt for a bit if it meant we could save or a nice home and he'd be done with school (about a yr). The houses back there are gorgeous with beautiful land :cloud9:

Here is where it turned a bit awkward...
He said he thinks if we do that we should move back in with his parents  I just don't think that would go over well. Not with his parents or his brothers and sisters etc. I also think it would put major stress on our relationship as a married couple and our little family. We'd never get alone time as either. I just don't know if the end opportunity out weighs the cost

Hmmmm thats a toughy. We had my bil's staying with us for awhile and it wasn't great. Dh would talk with them whenever we had a tiff :growlmad: made me look like the bad guy.

It really can be hard on a relationship. If you had your own space, like a basement to yourselves , i could see that maybe working. It'd be nice having babysitters at your fingertips too.

If it were me, i'd probably do it. But i do have a really good relationship with my mil. It'd be tough though!

I convinced him to stay here, have another baby, make the 1st floor master a play room, the kids can share for a couple yrs then even if its a girl. Here's my plans for the nursery for when baby is in our room :winkwink:
