April Dewdrops 2019

He didn't have an NICU stay, but was put on oxygen for around 12 hours because he had very high respiration.

I'm sorry EB, I misunderstood what you had meant. I should have just read your siggy. I thought you meant that you were also induced at 29 weeks, which is why I asked. :dohh: Forgive me. At any rate I do hope that you won't end up with it again.

Oh! No issue, I can see why you could have misunderstood. I went straight to talking about my induction after saying I'd been diagnosed at 29 weeks. But no, the induction started at 36 + 6. :)

Eb that's such a long induction process, crazy how it can take so long once it gets going.

This is baby #2 for me, two early MCs before my DD but I'm hopeful for no issues this time around. We had a traumatic C-section due to breech presentation with her. They didn't give me any options at the hospital and basically were operating an hour after I came in. Needless to say I have some issues thinking about birth. We're going for a HBAC with this one to avoid any unnecessary drama.

I'm sorry for your losses, ladies.

I am having some spotting today, I think. It's worrying me, but I know there's not much I can do. I'll be trying not to work too hard today.

Sorry to hear about the spotting eb! I hope it doesn't last!

My name has been ramping up last couple of days. So awful!

EB I hope the spotting eases off and your little bean is doing alright. I'm glad you'll be trying to rest as much as possible.

Hello Ladies!

Hope you don’t mind me joining in?
Im 30 and from the UK. I’m 4 weeks 4 days so will be due early April, and looking for people at similar stages to share the journey! So far the only symptom I have is extreme fatigue.
First Midwife appt booked for 3rd September and the wait is killing me!

I'm sorry you're spotting Eb! Hope it stops soon and that it's innocent.

Welcome btw new ladies, congrats!

Hello ladies!
I’m due April 10th with my second. Hasn’t really sunk in yet that I am pregnant because I don’t really “feel” pregnant. My only symptoms are sore bbs, more frequent urination, and feel long a little more sleepy than usual. My OH and I both have children from past relationships and this is our first together.

Hello everyone 😊

Forgot to say that this is my first pregnancy and suffering the first trimester worries! I think I’ve done about 10 pregnancy tests as worrying and still can’t believe this is real!!!

Welcome MrsFruitie and Missy! I have you both added!

Sorry the fatigue is kicking in, exhaustion is real. Today hasn't been too terrible but the nausea was so awful this morning, I feel like it's getting worse.

Fruitie you are definitely not alone and I've probably got you beat with testing. You're in good company here luv

Welcome fruity and Missy!

I also have a lot of first trimester anxiety. I think I'll feel better after the scan (Aug 27 for me) assuming it's positive.

Found out from the doc today that my iron levels are elevated (to the point that my liver enzymes are also elevated). I have a family history of hemochromatosis which is a genetic condition. I'm having a repeat blood test and I've been referred to a specialist. Hopefully it was just a one off test and isn't anything more serious. Pregnancy should lower my iron levels, and not drinking alcohol will also help. I'll also quit red meat and drink more water.

Always something to worry about

Hello everyone 😊

Forgot to say that this is my first pregnancy and suffering the first trimester worries! I think I’ve done about 10 pregnancy tests as worrying and still can’t believe this is real!!!

This is my third pregnancy and I STILL take a zillion pregnancy tests. Lol.

Congrats. :)

I won't even be calling about my first scan probably until next week. We have a wedding to go to about a month from now and I don't want to go to my scan till after that due to first trimester worries.

Just out of curiosity, because I expect there are a few of us, who all is still getting betas drawn?

My next draw will be Thursday and will get results on Friday. Depending on the results we may schedule a scan.

Belle I hope nothing sinister is going on and that it was just a one off. Glad they are looking further into it though.

I haven't had any betas drawn. I stressed way too much when I was getting them so I decided what will be will be and there is nothing I can do to prevent it. I completely understand the need to though. I just think it was unneeded stress for me.

No betas at all here. I got pregnant through IUI and even then, no betas. It's not really a thing they do here unless necessary
