just quickly popping in hope everyone are doing alright... DM nice weight gain for sophie Flynn is 7lb 7 1/2oz now he is doing well alittle blocked up in the nose though i have had to get him nose drops to help him alittle.

sorry i havent been here just finding it hard at the moment what with trying to see my dad as much as posable i'm just scared that one day the phone will go and it will be mum telling me hes no longer here i really dont want that to happen not for another few years at least

Joshua did great at his 5 day check and had put on weight Finding the feeding tough going but trying to stick with it as long as possible.

I have been struggling with the old hormones a little, feel very emotional at times and just have a good cry for no reason. Sleep deprivation probably doesnt help much....

I just got a really snotty fb message from a friend commenting that seen as she will be one of the last to see Joshua she may as well send her pressies round with one of her kids to drop of..... Weve actually had no visitors yet, he's only a week old today ffs, is it that much to ask that we just needed a little time to get sorted! Dont really know how to respond to it....

Ah Georgie sounds like the friend is being a little over dramatic!! I'd say something like, 'we would love to see you, we just haven't started having visitors yet (just finding our feet) but how about you come over at XXXX date' - add date in the future you are happy with. If you go back and be pleasant then she might see how stupid she has been and her snotty comment will look terrible.

Sounds like Joshua is doing really well though and well done for sticking at the BF, it sounds hard work!

thought I would bore you all with a picture of Sophie that I took about 10mins ago. She's fast asleep on my lap with recently washed massive hair and new jammies. She has milk spots at the moment so looks like she has horrendous acne. It's awful seeing your precious baby so blemished but it will sort itself out soon enough. You can't see in the pic tho cos of the lighting.

Doods Niamh got prescribed Nystatin from the GP it is amazing and we noticed a marked improvement in her mouth thrush within 24 hours, unfortunately she now has a little bit onher bottom!! Can you beleive that what they tell you to use is canesten, feels wrong but is also doing the trick!!!

Hope it clears for Naomi quickly it made Niamh miserable

Linds - I absolutely love those jammies!! Sophie looks so lovely and alert on your FB pic!

Georgie - Pay no attention to that silly friend of yours! Your baby is only a week old you had an epic labour and have been recovering, she can bugger off!!

AFM - My wound is still infected, its so sore and it smells like a cross between an old ladies ulcerated legs and a pile of dog shite!!

On a positive note, i think the PP bleeding is coming to a stop!! but that will probably rear its ugly head again too!

Im bored of pads now, i feel so dirty and minging all the time!! what with the sent of rotting flesh in my sexy over hang!! How is there that much blood in there and why the hell does it not just come out!!! Gravity!!!

Also im completely thick and had no idea that if you breast feed you dont need to use contraception as you dont ovulate, 95% effective!! I dont know where i was during sex ed but I had never geard of that before but also would not want to put it to the test at all!

Exactly they should use the giant vacum thing and suck it out and while they were at it the could of loped off the over hang too!! Very selfish i think.

I cant even imagine having a proper period again with cramps and using contraception. Not that im in the mood to get jiggy with it anytime soon either, much to D's dismay!
