Beach Bump Graduates!

Ooh hope it all goes well Julie, will be thinking of you all night!

Will post properly in a bit xx

Good luck Julie! Saw your FB post as well and we're all here with you - keep going!!!! Huge hugs xxxxxx

Mel - Ajay does the same, tantrum any time we decide to come inside even when we'bve been out for ages! He says 'little walk' basically meaning I never want to play inside again and he loves running and walking in the garden, down the road - anywhere really!

Han - how are you feeling? You poor thing :( xxx

Mad busy day here today, up and out by 6.30, two hours drive to Birmingham then meetings 9 -5 pm and then drive home. But as soon as I walked in the door Ajay was asking for Mumma cuddles so it was worth it. Off to bed now! x

Hi girls! I keep lurking to see how everyone is getting on with their upcoming babies but I keep forgetting to reply!

Nothing much new here, I'm going crazy waiting for my ultrasound on Thursday. The days keep going by sooo slloooowly.

How is everyone's toddlers doing with naps? Katie still seems like she needs one, she gets so tired at nap time, but she only sleeps for about fifteen minutes before waking up. I get her back down to sleep, and she'll sleep for another fifteen minutes. Repeat until I'm tired of doing it. I'm thinking it's a sign that she is trying to get rid of her last nap, but I really don't want her doing that - I need naps now! lol

Julie - best of luck! Can't wait to hear about your little girl being here!

Urgh SB I dread them not having a nap! It sounds like she could be. Ajay still has one decent nap a day from one to two hours so I am hoping he won't drop it soon!

Right really am off to bed now.

Julie thinking of you and hope to hear more in the morning. Good luck xxx

OOOHHH Julie, good luck cant wait to hear!

SB, We have one nap lasting anything between 1 to 2 hours usually halfway in between. Long may it last!

Caz, glad we arent the only ones with a willful toddler!

Just caught up on all my photo sorting at last! Must keep on top of it in future!

Julie - can't stop thinking about you, really hope it's all going well!

Ooh Mel - 4lbs lost already?? Well done you - and for sorting your photos, must feel amazing. I think it's particularly hard to lose weight when you're knackered so you're doing very well! Hope the pain is bearing up and hopefully the appts will help.

Hann, huge sympathies on the pain, I really feel for you having no help. When does your mum arrive? not for a week or two i seem to recall? Any chance you can get an emergency nanny in or a temporary mother's help or something just til your mum arrives? I know it's costly but could be worth it if you're really struggling with A.

Caz, hugs to you for being so knackered, today sounds full on - at least you have your day off tomorrow!

SB, sounds like Katie is telling you napping is for wimps! However - and hopefully for you - perhaps she's just going through a phase. I know every child is different but i think our LOs are quite young to drop their naps just yet. Leo fussed over his naps for a few weeks about a month ago, but has now gone back to a full 1.5-2 hours per day, and goes down really easily now whereas he was fighting it before. Is Katie perhaps not physically tired enough? Maybe having her run around in the morning or taking her for a walk might help a bit?

AFM my arm is killing!! You weren't joking hann, blimey the injection didn't hurt at all going in but i'm in absolute agony, barely slept a wink last night as couldn't sleep on my left side at all (usually i have to chop and change sides all night as one side gets too uncomfortable). Sigh, i guess it'll be worth it when the baby doesn't get whooping cough....

Also I had a call from my midwife, my bloods came back with low iron, surprise surprise - i had suspected this from how tired i was feeling. I had both low ferratin and low haemoglobin so it's no wonder. Have started myself on iron tablets and hope i'll start to feel more energetic soon. Not being able to sleep on one side isn't really helping!

Currently staying at my parents' as Paul is in Minsk (belarus) this week. Really hope leo sleeps well here...

Night night all, really looking forward to hearing Violet news in the morning! (no pressure Julie!!)
x

Logged in to see how you are doing Julie, hope it's going ok xx

Yay Julie huge congratulations! She's a little one too! Well done you!

Simmy - big sympathies on the arm - it hurt so much more than I was expecting too - really quite crazy! Hope you get a rest at your parents :)

Bad night for me, in so much pain that I had trouble sleeping at all. Gregs gone to work now, he at least got Annabelle out of her cot so that I didn't have to do that. Calling an oestopath this morning, Greg said he could come home between 3.30-5.30 to look after Annabelle if I can get an appointment then otherwise I have a small window of 5.30 on fri for an appointment or a couple of hours on sat morning. Just depends if they can see me in any of the tiny windows I can actually get Annabelle watched for. Otherwise I just have to put up.
Mum and dad are back late sat but can't come next week as they have too much on. I could go to theirs, the difficulty with that is the getting there and back as being in the car for 1.5 hours will kill me and also I'll end up being up at night a lot as Annabelle sleeps badly there. But if I can't get help from oesteopath then I'll have to do that. So frustrating the whole thing!
Anyway it's going to be an interesting day bearing in mind I can barely walk so not even sure at the minute how I'm going to get me downstairs let alone carry Annabelle as she won't go down on her own.
Sorry for the downer post - dealing with this, plus being the only person to look after Annabelle plus being pregnant is just horrific and I'm pretty upset :(

Oh Han poor you :( did you get a appointment?

Just giving Ajay lunch as we just got home from toddler group x

Yes thank goodness! Going at 4.30 so gregs coming back for 2 hours to watch Annabelle then off back to London after for a dinner. Not ideal for him but I am so happy I'm being seen. It's been a very tough morning - just getting Annabelle down the stairs was a mission in itself. I got to the point of just wanting to sit and cry but I'm feeling more upbeat now I have the appointment. Pray for a miracle cure lol!!

Ah bless you. If I didn't have a friend coming over later I'd offer to help too. So glad Greg is coming back x

Thank you so much - that's so nice of you. I have been feeling so alone in all this and so upset that you just saying that means so much x

Yay congratulations Julie! So pleased she arrived and your best OBs were on shift! Can't wait to hear all about it!! X

Hann :hugs: I really really feel for you, well done for getting through the day so far and I'm glad you got an appointment, hope it helps a lot xxxx

Congrats, Julie! Can't wait to hear more info on how it went!!

Simmy - that's the thing - Katie is more active right now than she ever has been. She's finally walking full time now (she's always preferred crawling to walking until the last month or so) and now runs around everywhere. She won't let me put her in a stroller or cart or anything, so she's always on her feet. She should be more tired now than ever in her life...but she's not! How can she go through SO much energy and still not want a nap? I'm hoping you're right and it's just a phase. I want her to still be taking naps when the baby is here, not quitting them already!

(((hugs)))) Hann!
