Beach Bump Graduates!

All I'm saying, Hann, is that if you have your baby before me, I'm coming all the way across the Atlantic. :trouble: :haha:

:flower:

Lol Julie I really won't be!! I will definitely be overdue but hoping around 14th which would technically make me 5 days overdue my LMP but bang on for my scan. If I go past the 14th I'll be crying!

Simmy - sympathies as I randomly had that for a few days a couple of weeks ago. Thankfully it's gone. Hope you got some sleep

It's looking like an induction date of 4/20 (if L&D will agree for a Saturday!) or 4/23 for me unless she comes on her own before then. Have to make the decision if L&D agrees. I'm kind of thinking about just holding off for 4/23 but then thinking about how long that is from now makes me want to cry. :haha: Really want her to come on her own but also really don't want to make it to almost 42 weeks and STILL be induced.

Or, I still have 12 hours to go into labor while my favorite OB is on call tonight. :haha: What should I try tonight? Maybe I'll just hook myself up to my breast pump for the next several hours. :haha:

You'll go into labour before 20th! I have faith :)
Tonight try DTD - only thing that worked for me I think! Won't be able to do it this time though as will have my parents staying lol!!

Am I wrong to be REALLY freaked about dtd knowing I'm at least 4cm dilated and have lost my whole plug (I'm assuming. Because surely there can't be any left after all that came out, lol!)?

Ha ha I did it after losing my plug and was 3cm. But to be honest I'd say you must be almost good to go without DTD so hang in there :)

You could try erm...swallowing the sperm. It's to do with the prostaglandins and still works if ingested. My MW friend says there is evidence to show it works better than Dtd. Depends how desperate you are! X

I think I'd feel how you feel Julie about dtd when you're 4 cm but needs must! Hope it happens soon for you :)

Packing everything up today as te builders should knock through in 10-14 days so we need to start clearing out .... Again!

Julie you'll go into labour before then I think, you're doing so well, the last bit of pregnancy is so frustrating, especially with all the symptom spotting!

That's good that you can have physio up until the birth Hann, I'm glad Annabelle was ok when you left her with your friend.

Sounds like the extension is going really well Caz! What a pain about your mil though!

I hope you got some sleep Simmy! Restless leg is the worst!

How are you getting on Mel? Naomi is definitely have terrible two moments too! She's such a pickle sometimes and nothing seems to work. Her latest thing is to tip her zippy cup and to try and make puddles with the milk! Very annoying! When I try and stop her and tell her off she laughs at me! I really have my work cut out with this one!

How are you getting on Georgie?

Fi, how about you? Have you started food with Cassie now? How's it going?

I'm just enjoying a few minutes to myself, Naomi shooed me away when I tried to play with her this morning (!) so she is watching Mickey Mouse clubhouse and Martyn has taken Holly swimming, she has been moved up a level and is very excited! We were hoping to go to fishers farm this afternoon but its forecast to rain all afternoon so we might have to give it a miss. I'm going to see how bad it is, if its drizzle then I will go for it but I have a horrible feeling its going to be quite heavy.... I have a bit more packing to do so ought to do that really but I was hoping to do it Sunday evening.
I hope everyone's having a nice weekend!

Maria how exciting you're off on hols soon! there's something about disney that still gets me so excited :) Bless naomi she doesn't sound any different/worse to Leo, think they all are entering that phase...

Julie lol at hooking yourself up to the pump. Tbh NOTHING worked for me and i tried it all. I just think the baby is gonna come when it wants to/is ready. Sorry i guess that's not what you want to hear!!! But i def have faith it'll come before the 20th :flower:

Georgie LOL at your suggestion, SURELY that was invented by a man???

Caz what a pain to have to pack everything up - but hey it'll all be done soon and will be lovely!

Hann glad the physio went well and annabelle was fine with your friend, what a relief! I also think you wont go much past your due date.

AFM already knackered and it's only 11am! Leo's been up since quite early and Paul is doing a variety of DIY jobs today (moving stuff into the garden office, setting up our burglar alarm etc) so i'm on my own with Leo. I really want a nap! Can't even nap while Leo's napping as we need to sort a bunch of his toys then.

Hope you get some rest Simmy.

Neel is really grizzly today, I don't know why but he has gone to football and I really hope that helps his mood! He got up with Ajay today (he only does three mornings a week and n the week I get up to so this is my only chance for a lie in) and he didn't want to get up, I offered to swap days but it was only 6.30 for goodness sake!

I have jinxed myself as since I said on here that things were getting better with MIL they have got worse! She told me yesterday that when Ajay won't get a meal, she bribes him with jelly beans and then he eats those instead. Neel then freaked out because they are so hard and a choking hazard so he is annoyed with her. But they're away in London tonight so we have some space!

Ajay is napping now. He was exhausted bless him. Han - when Annabelle has really long sleeps does she go to bed at the same time? I've tended to wake Ajay after two hours as I thought it might affect his bed time but does it with A?

x

Hi all

Tried to post yesterday but wouldnt let me for some reason!

Hann, I am feeling your pain, ive just been diagnosed with Sciatica myself, never had before or that type of awful pain, i can barely walk its so horrid, apparently it can happen post pregnancy though dont really understand why. It has me in tears sometimes. Hope the physio helps you and the exercises useful

Georgie, how you getting on hun?

Julie, really hope that baby makes an appearance for you soon, you must be getting so frustrated now! Im confident you will go into labour before induction too!

Maria, im with you, H laughs at us too, even when on naughty step, hes quite happy to sit there but laughs as soon as you go back to him and is laughing when he says sorry, its funny but frustrating!

AFM, We are doing ok ,apart from my pain, its really excruciating at times! Been keeping busy, Lucas was weighed thurs and hes gone from 5lb 14 at birth to 7lb 3, 3 weeks later, i was amazed, hes certainly filling out now i think hes just gonna go up and up now. hes still feeding well and is a little bit sicky but nothing too bad.
We had friends over yesterday and today for lunch, they have just gone, it was really nice. We are hoping to get out and do Harrison things this week like zoo and farms as well as swimming
Have also ordered a centre island for our kitchen, cant really afford it but we are desperate for more cupboard space and we have the room.
Glad the weather is finally improving!

Caz, boo to Neel being grizzly, hope hes in a better mood when he gets back, does he play or watch football on a saturday?

Georgie -- hehe, I think I'll just buy some more EPO and start swallowing that again, instead. :haha: Though... um... considering I'm 4cm(+?) dilated, I don't know that my cervix needs any more help in the "ripening" department, you know? It's my damn uterus not cooperating! Oxytocin me up!

Caz -- Jelly beans?! :dohh:

Mel -- Oh no, not sciatica! I had it really bad for about 2 weeks and now it just comes and goes which think is really weird. I haven't had it in a week or so now, actually. It better not come back after she's born! Not that I have to ever worry about her being born. :haha:

Maria -- We're definitely in an interesting stage with Maisie right now. She's really into yelling this horribly annoying super fussy/bratty yell about anything she doesn't like or anything you suggest to her to do (even if she wants to do it sometimes!). :dohh: It doesn't ever work (for us.. my mom gives into it immediately, apparently ARGH), so I'm not sure why she insists on doing it.

Simmy -- You should totally take a nap (or is it too late now?) and sort toys later. :winkwink:

Okay, so I think part of my issue is that I've like cleared my entire schedule for this baby so I'm just sitting and waiting and not doing anything other than a few chores around the house. The more I think about it, the more I think I'll choose 4/23 as induction day if my OBs will let me wait that long. I'm getting so antsy because we can't finish our new house and move until Vi is born. And I feel like my leave at work is running out and it makes me panic a bit to think my last check from them is going to be the middle of June and Scott hasn't even started looking for a job where we're moving because we have no idea when Vi is going to show up. We did this crap to ourselves, but it's making me really anxious.:dohh:

It's a relief to know its not just Naomi who's being a pickle sometimes then!

It sounds like you guys have so much going on Julie, hopefully Violet will come soon, I'm sure she'll be here before the 23rd (I hope! Otherwise I'll feel bad for getting your hopes up!)

Did Neel cheer up in the end Caz? I hope the packing is going ok!

Mel that sucks about the pain, did they say how long it will go on for? Lucas sounds like he's doing great!

I hope you got some rest Simmy!

Morning all!

Maria - hope N has finished the teething for now and you are having a good weekend!

Caz - hope Neel cheered up! Why would your mil admit to doing that? Reminds me of when mine gave Annabelle a bag of crisps as she didn't feel like she was eating enough at lunch time. Are they stupid? I'm sure they wouldn't have done that to their own children!

Mel - sympathies on the sciatica, mines bad now.

Julie - still hanging in there? I can't believe you can walk around 4cm for so long. Really hope it's not long now!

Off to get Annabelles feet measured this morning but will buy her trainers from Nike as the Clarks ones look rubbish and are more expensive!
Also had exciting news that I got into my BF course - thank you Caz!
Weather is meant to be nice today too yay!!

Ha, last time Maisie stayed with my mom, I packed a TON of healthy food she will sometimes eat. Like 3 different options for each snack and meal (lunch, snack, dinner).

My mom apparently tried for a second to get her to eat what I packed, immediately gave up, and then fed her graham crackers with peanut butter and a big container of chocolate pudding.

Ugh, so restless right now (4am). Then of course I'm reading way too much into it, making it way worse. :dohh: :haha:

Hi Julie I hope you got some sleep x

Had a busy night last night with moving stuff upstairs and we are still doing it now. Ajay is napping and when he fell asleep I put his duvet over him. I'm trying to move him to the duvet but he says he is scared of it...... Don't know why!

I'm feeling really odd today. I'm suddenly really shaky and my hands are shaking and I feel faint. I've been fine all day so no idea why. Off to make a cup of tea with Sugar to helpx

Caz, if I felt like you, I'd assume it's because labor is imminent. Hope you feel better soon!

If Caz gave birth suddenly then that would be a real story!!
How are you feeling now? Maybe it's just doing so much and lack of rest?

It would appear that my naughty baby is transverse, seeing mw tomorrow so will see what they say unless it moves over night. This little monkey must be a boy!
Back is as ever killing but getting some relief when I lie down - not that lying down is possible much lol!

Julie - big :hugs:
