Beach Bump Graduates!

SB good luck for this week, im sure that all will be well for you with this scan and you can relax (kind of)

Hann, oohhh to losing plug! Exciting! Boo to your sciatic pain though, really feel for you, having now experianced it, it is one of the worst pains i have had and affects everything you do.Really hope it goes away quickly after the birth!

Julie, wow how scary for you and Scott! Glad all appears ok now, but awful to have a bill like that, main thing is health though. Crazy having two isnt it?!! Everyone tells me not to worry about the house, but im slightly OCD over it and it all gets cleaned once a week

So today was my first proper time on my own with the boys. Alan left for work at 1230 so after that Harrison had a nap and then we all popped round my friends for a play in the garden until teatime. That went ok , then it was bath time which i was dreading. It went ok though to be fair apart from Lucas screaming for a feed whilst I was still bathing Harrison. Harrison was good though and they both had milk at the same time. Harrison has just gone to bed and im taking a few mins out before i start the ironing. Im at least trying to keep on top of that whillst Alan is working if nothing else.

Well done Mel for getting through your first day hun. I'm sure you did amazingly!

Blimey, just read my e-mails and tomorrow at work is going to be tough. Sigh...... :(

Sb didn't see your post... Hoping everything will be fine on Thursday. I'm sure it will be but can't wait to hear the news x

Hi ladies! Sorry for being MIA, we are fine though, just been busy.

Julie, oh my goodness, so sorry to hear about Scott's scare. Must have been seriously scary and i cannot believe that medical bill! But as long as he's ok that's the important thing. What a shock, especially at a time that you have a newborn baby, i'm sure it's been very stressful. But of course i'm so pleased he's ok and thank goodness it was a mild one. Has he been told there's anything he can do to stop it happening again? :hugs:

SB, good luck for the scan on Thurs. Really crossing my fingers for you that everything will be fine, but i feel positive like you do

Caz - hope today at work wasn't too bad - and yay for your day off tomorrow! Glad you had fun with your parents too. Oh and really fun about the holiday to Nice, i absolutely love it there :)

Mel - well done on getting through your first day alone with both babies! Sometimes it's more of a psychological boundary but once you're passed that first hurdle it will become much easier or at least less daunting... I know what you mean about keeping the house clean, I get really down with a messy house so i like to keep on top of that too (at the very least the tidying and washing up in the sink!).

Hann - ooh yay to losing your plug, if that's what it was! Sorry about the pain, i cannot imagine how sore you must feel. I hurt most of the time just with general pregnancy aches and pains, so to feel more on top of that must be horrid. On the upside at least you look gorgeous, your bump is so cute and neat! I'll try and get a bump pic tomorrow, promise! I keep waiting for a day that i look vaguely presentable but that never seems to happen, haha.

These last few days have been super hectic - had the inlaws here and every spare moment was packing up the three rooms where we're having the work done. Poor Paul had to move all the furniture on his own, felt so bad that i couldn't help with any lifting. I just felt knackered even going up and down the stairs twice!!

Also we went to a wedding Sunday night, it was at the royal exchange in london which was a lovely venue (hence my FB question about parking hann!). It was a half jewish half french wedding so very interesting, they had matched the two cultures really well though so it was lovely. Managed to last out til about 11.30pm too, woop woop!

Aside from that no news other than i'm really behind on work, am planning to get some done now, oh and there's been an outbreak of chicken pox at leo's nursery :dohh: Just great, that's the last thing i need right now! Although in some ways it's better if Leo gets it before the baby's born, i would hate for a newborn baby to catch it...

Morning girls, day off for me yay!

Mum is coming over later and we have toddler group but just looking forward to my relaxing day at home :)

Trying to get back onto the shred at the moment - I've done it twice in the last few days so hoping to get back on track and lose some lbs!

Have a great day Caz! Shame the weathers not looking as nice.

Bump pic Simmy!!

Day before my due date. I've had really frequent and strong BHs since sat, an hour or two in the mornings, several hours in the afternoons (worst) then a hour or so in the evenings. They aren't painful so don't think they are doing much except making me feel really unconfortable, my insides feel squashed, tight and sick. It's really unpleasant. Before sat even though I had the sciatica I was still pretty chilled about when it would happen but now I've got this I'm really fed up! I never got bad BH with Annabelle so this is pretty new for me and they come ever 2 minutes. I wish they would lead somewhere but they just stop. I know I don't have long - really hope it's in the next 7/8 days.

Oh i hope things happen for you soon Hann!

Finally, here's a bump pic... actually here's two as i did two by mistake and dont know how to remove one! :dohh:

Lovely bump pics Simmy! You are all tummy too!

Well had a reflexology session and apparently she thinks it will be a while yet. She thinks it will def be next week but more towards the end of the week. Rubbish!!
I knew that's what I kind of thought it would be originally but now I'm here I'm just fed up if being in pain, tired and the BH, so pretty depressed at the thought of at least another week of it :(

You look great, Simmy!

((hugs)) Hann. You're so close! I know third tri is miserable, but you're almost out now!

AFM, just one more day until my ultrasound. Actually, at this time tomorrow my ultrasound will be starting and we'll be finding out what's going on. So nervous that my belly is already upset, but I can't wait to get this dread over with.

This morning I was lying down flat before getting out of bed and before any bloat started, and I'm pretty sure I could feel my uterus just peeking out above my pelvic bone. I thought it was too early for that, but I can't imagine what else would feel that firm and be tucked right above my pelvic bone...so I'm hoping that's a good sign that the pregnancy is progressing well.

SB I'll be thinking of you tomorrow, really hope it's good news for you. It could be your uterus - they do appear earlier second time round. Shame that the babies don't necessarily lol!!

Just popping in to say Hi quickly and say that im thinking of you Hann! Xxx

Hi everyone hope you have had nice days

SB, thinking of you for tomorrow, update us when you can.

Hann, thinking of you too, boo to the BH, if they dont appear to be doing anything but you never know you could be in "slow labour" like everyone in your May group :winkwink: Slow labour i mean really, when people say that they are probably getting BH anyway. Keep your chin up hunny, your baby will be with you before you know it!

Simmy, lovely bump pic! Yours is so neat! Hope you managed to catch up with work, but also hope you have got some rest! Not long now till mat leave!

Caz, hope you have had a nice day off, have you spoken to your work about your workload?

Georgie, loved the pic of J covered in mud on fb, bet that was fun to clean off!

AFM, Busy day here, we had some professional pics of the boys done this morining, well semi pro, the lady is just starting up but that meant we got a really good deal and she was lovely with both boys. Looking forward to seeing the results, on the downside of today Alan was meant to get up with H, He also slept in spare room with Lucas to give me a break, but he didnt get up to him so i had to get up (630am) then he comes in, but by then im awake anyway, then H for some reason threw a tantrum and was like it for ages so i got up too a bit fed up.
Me and Alan havent been getting on so well lately, mainly just griping at each other due to tiredness but its really getting on top and we need to get a grip, we both know it. We have an evening to ourselves on fri at the theatre so hoping that will help.
Two young children certainly tries your relationship even if its rock solid!

Oh and after much deliberating we have decided to buy this playhouse, ive been looking at them for ages!

Mel i absolutely adored Lucas's sneak peek on fb! Sooo cute! Like the playhouse too, infact just before i came on here I was on ELC looking for playhouses. The little tikes ones look good but they're so expensive! The chad valley one looks like a good deal. Sorry to hear you and Alan are griping at each other, but totally understandable given the lack of sleep - i think paul and i are going to be the same. Lack of sleep is a killer!

Georgie, i loved the pic of joshy too, he's such a little boy!

SB good luck for tomorrow, thinking of you x

Simmy, you can spend silly money on the playhouses cant you? I really dont think you need to spend over £100 to get a half decent one though.

Quick post before bed.... Hang on in there Han. Not long now.
Mel - I can imagine it makes things pretty tense with two kids. You guys will get through it.
Sb - thinking of you for tomorrow xxx

It's my due date yippee!!! No sign yet though. Kept waking up in the night - Annabelle was up a lot - and felt really sore and crampy in my pelvis but woken up now and feel fine again lol. Still thinking it will be next week - aiming for the 12th but could cope just about with the 16th but hopefully no later as that will be a week over. Crossing my legs on Monday as want to avoid 13th lol!

SB - thinking of you today - I would be happier that you get your good news than me going into labour so that's what I'm hoping happens!

Mel - we were lucky with a playhouse, my parents neighbour was giving theirs away so we got ours for free, it's a little tikes one worth about £200! It's a bit worn but you can't argue with it for free! Sorry to hear about the arguments too. I'm expecting it to happen to us too - that's the thing about tiredness, it just makes you snappy! Gregs a good one for sleeping through crying etc so that's bound to wind me up!

Right better get on - football this morning, then I have to get Annabelle to the hospital for her hearing test and then this afternoon we have a birthday party for her friend who is 2 today. Busy times - no time today for labour lol!

Thanks mel! My bump has dropped - even my mum who is pretty unobservant noticed the difference. Hoping it means not too long now!!
