Beach Bump Graduates!

3am - 6am of contractions every 12 minutes, now getting constant periody cramps and BH pressure. I don't think I'm in labour but I'm hoping its not far off now! Maybe it will pick up again later or maybe tomorrow/Monday but hopefully not far off. Little bit excited but also a tad scared as its reminded me how painful it can be if the early stuff is tender!!
Oh well all worth it in the end and hopefully not far off!

Don't be silly Julie - you've had your hands full plus the health complications - I hope your hubby's okay.

Things seem to have stalled again but I'm hopeful it will happen in the next few days - hopefully by weds! Anyone's welcome to text, I'll come on when things get properly started then after that I'll text updates as its easier.
I doubt it will happen today which is a pity but my lucky number is 12 so tomorrow would be good, or maybe I'll have to wait for my sweep on Monday to kick things off.

Hi guys got some messages from Hannah. She is 2-3 cms and contractions are two mins apart. She is at the hospital and is walking about and they are waiting to see if they get stronger - if they do she will stay. It's all go

I got sent home lol! She did a very rigorous sweep which hurt but produced a lot of blood and plug (sorry tmi!) and told me to go home and relax as I need to be 4cm to be in the birth centre so they would have had to put me on the labour ward if I had stayed which I didn't want. Still getting contractions but need them to increase in intensity, she said that could be hours or days!! Really hoping its by the morning as I doubt I'll get much rest when I'm contracting every few minutes. Bit frustrating to say the least but just going to try relaxing and hope for the best!

First night with the in laws was fine - I'm hopeful it will be fine and I'm enjoying it so far. Me ad Ajay are going to a wok event this morning in a park in London so that gives me some space which is nice x

AF, Busy weekend, friday night me and Alan had a lovely time at the theatre, saw Jersey nights which is the songs of franki vailli and the four seasons, loved it! Today we did a car boot and yesterday we prepped for it, we did pretty well and am exausted now as was there at 7am!
Ive entered the 5k race for life and also a local 10k run in sept, get me! lol x

Mel you are so full of energy it's fantastic, love it! well done on your car boot and entering in for your run Oh and in answer to your question i go on maternity leave in 2 weeks, 24th may. I really can't wait, not that i've worked much at all this pregnancy, but i can't wait to start nesting for the baby, wash baby clothes, get the moses basket ready, etc etc. I've just not had time to do all that what with the sickness and work combined...

Maria, glad to hear your dad is home and wishing him a speedy recovery. Did you manage to visit him this weekend?

Hann, sorry things haven't progressed so far, must be mega frustrating. Well you had a feeling about tuesday didn't you so maybe that'll be the day, the 14th is a nice date Just think that your baby is comfy in there as you've created a lovely little cocoon and that's why he/she isn't coming out, it's no bad reason. xx

Julie, hope things are ok with you, dont worry about not keeping up, you're having an incredibly busy time How is scott feeling now? Is Violet still a chilled out bubba?

AFM not much to report, Leo's a bit poorly with a stonking cold and cough, poor thing. I'm in the office tomorrow and hate to leave him when he's poorly but at least it's his day with my mum and he doesn't have to go to nursery. I really hope he's better by Tuesday as I could do with him spending a day at nursery, i have so much to do! Just finishing off some work now and painting my nails!

Maria how have the girls been this weekend?

So day two with the in laws has been fine. I'm going into it positively and trying to be calm. It's good that I'm at worktomorrow as it won't be intense then and hopefully it will be for a few weeks max.

Ajay is being so good - he slept till 8 am today! I had to drive him all the way to south east London for a work party thing in brockwell park and he was so good. Neel didn't come but he behaved so well and I just loved his company.

Builders have been full on this weekend. Nearly every wall downstairs has comedown and its a total building site but this is the worst bit. x

I'm ok thanks Mel, just don't get a great deal of time at the moment. Were on our second sickness bug in 3 weeks which is horrible, im hoping i escape this one!
