I am making jam out of all the free fruit about this time of year me and the kids went hedgerow raiding yesterday and got loads of blackberries, sloes, rosehips and some apples. i am going to put a jar of jam some fudge and gingerbread men in a little box as mini hampers for some of the people on my list which will save me loads of money. The only thing i had to pay for to make the jam is sugar as i saved up empty jars over the year.

what you mean free fruit? where do you get this? small hamper sounds like a great idea

Its the season now for apples, plums, pears, blackberries, etc loads of people have a huge crop they can't eat and have boxes of free fruit ouside there house or have a look round your local area for fruit bushes and trees and go scrumping or post an add in the local shops saying you are willing to collect free windfalls etc and i bet you end up with loads of plums and apples.

Asda has those Little Tikes ride on's for £11. They have been reduced from £15. They have the boys blue trains and a purple pony for the girls(or boys, I bought one for jason last year).

Don't know about other Asda's but Hull Bilton Asda has ball pit balls for £2.50 a bag. So it might be worth checking out other Asda's.

i know its xmas but argos is currently doing £100 off of little tykes jungle play thingy for 3years - 6years, it looks awesome but we're broke till october and i just know this deal wont last long

I made fudge for all my friends & relatives last year, got the recipe out the Tesco magazine, put it in old jam jars that I'd been keeping & made fancy labels!!! Prob each jar cost less than a pound to make & everyone loved it!!!

Currently on the hunt for another recipe for this year, don't think the same one would go down to well!!!

nice this soo would not work for me though lol even loud noises etc plus i got a built in alarm clock its DS lol he bangs on his door every morning before anyone else is ready to get up lol.

I went to morrisons today and they had toy story 3, peppa pig, ben 10 and cars stationary for 58p each, rubbers, packs of pens, pencils, art cases (lil ones), post its, giant pens.
