33 days to go.
Without going through my fabric stash that is left to see what isnt worth taking (ie solids) I was able to almost fit everything I havent already donated or plan to sell in one suitcase. My goal is one suitcase of fabric and craft stuff, so I'm nearly there really. Nothing is rolled or folded for space saving so I could probably swing it without culling anything. But I do also still want to bring snaps and my snap press so I'll have to do some culling.
Have so far trial packed 5 suitcases (1 of clothes, which isnt close to full but doesnt have any of DHs and my things yet), 2 of toys (which will be further reduced) 1 of books, and one of my fabric.
I can think of 2 more suitcases worth of stuff to bring off the top of my head, but really not too much beyond that. Keeping it to 10 suitcases (plus carry on) is starting to seem really achievable actually.
DH has the "we are allowed to being 14 bags we should being 14 bags cause we paid for them" mentality (which I admit is my default setting too - is it any surprise we have such a clutter problem) but I am working really hard on shifting that mindset and am determined to be intentional with what we bring and what we purchase or accept for free on the other end. "But it's free and we might find a use for it" or "but we have the space let's fill it up" wont fly with me anymore.
DH has verbally sold our trailer to one of our landlords children. They have agreed on $1000. He could probably sell it for at least $1300, but it might take a while to sell at that price and we still need it right up til we leave (and possibly right to the airport) so we'd rather a guaranteed sale that is flexible with our departure and DH had promised her first dibs a few months back when she was looking for a trailer to buy (dh said he was looking to downsize ours, but that we still need it in the meantime and she can borrow it in the meantime, which shes done once)
