My DS1 is after Disney infinity 2.0 and I have bought the Marvel starter pack. Will the Disney classic figures work on the platform or will I need to buy another one for these figures for him?

All 1.0 will work in toy box mode (not the actual game tho) with the 2.0, both portals are the same it's just the actual game discs that are different. The 3.0 is out now too, but you can buy that without the portal so it's a few quid cheaper, hope that helps a bit x

yes u can use all 1 and 2 characters on Disney 2 toy box mode. There are some good deals on the 1&2 characters about

Unlike skylanders, Disney 3.0 is available to buy as a starter pack minus the portal as they use the same portal for all versions, so it's a bit cheaper x
