DTD for a 2011 BFP

Looks like I got everyone's hopes up...including my own My temp dropped back down today so it looks like I still haven't ovulated. I'm gonna call this cycle a write-off, go back on the Agnus Castus tomorrow and just wait for AF. Tomorrow will be cd50....

Awww Katie bummer. Well just keep DTD and maybe you'll get lucky. I know you said you haven't talked to your doctor because you haven't been TTC for a whole year but I think you should give them a call and try to get in long and irregular cycles are good enough reason right? This mist be especially frustrating for you

I'm going to make a doctors appointment I think. They might tell me to bugger off, but at the same time they might not. I think 7 weeks without a period warrants some of the NHS time I pay for!

But before you write off your cycle completely, I often get another dip in my temps a day or two after O, and then they stay high. I noticed yours were up again this morning?

I'd make an appointment anyway. Hopefully the doctor will be able to give you an explanation, or possibly even some help towards getting your cycles regular.

I've had some good explanations as to why my CBFM is still reading 'high'. Apparently, if it has not detected a 'peak' (as it often doesn't in the first cycle, it continues to read 'high' until 20 tests have passed. Hmmmmmm. That seems like an exercise in making us spend more money as those damn sticks cost a small fortune!!!!!

I'm due AF next Monday or Tuesday, so I won't be testing before then, and hopefully on Monday, my OH will get his ass back to the hospital to give another sample!

You're quite right Loo...all is not lost. If my temp stays the same, or goes up even a teeny bit tomorrow then FF will confirm ov when I thought - on Sunday. And, as I've been incorrectly using my thermometer for the last 70 days I fully expect that my temperature will go up....

Good news about the CBFM Loo - I thought it must be something like that. Clear Blue find many many ways to part us and our money...another success for them

Katie - I'd def make the appointment even if u weren't temping right -maybe even take a copy of your chart as proof!

So exciting that you are both in the 2ww Loo and Fisher I have fingers crossed for you both! Thats interesting to hear about the CBFM Loo, I've never heard all that much about it but I do agree that it sounds like a perfect marketing point for CB
Fisher, I hope you and your hubby are feeling better soon!! Its awful when you are both down with something - then there is no one to look after you.

I'm glad you are going to go see the Dr Katie, that does seem like a long time to be a regular cycle. I had a 72 day cycle last year, but that was after I had my appendix out so they explained it away with that, but I was still seen by gyno about it!!

I've not been around much as we are taking a couple months off trying. My doctor suggested waiting a month or 2 to let my emotions and such settle down. We have lots of October birthdays anyways so we had always planned to take January off if we hadnt been successful by then. We are talking about having a last fling holiday, just the 3 of us, to celebrate my 30th in May so we may hang off until then? DH is away 2 weeks each month until then anyways, so sods law he will be away at my fertile time.

I've made a doctors appointment for Monday - I will hopefully be 8DPO then (or any DPO ) but I still think they need to look into it. I took my temp correctly this morning and it was one of the lowest I've had so far this cycle. If it sky-rockets tomorrow FF will still say I ov'd on cd47.

Nice to see you Sarah, and I'm glad you have decided whats best for you. You will know when the time is right to start trying, and I'm sure we will all be still here (well, Im sure I will be still here) trying!

My AF is due on Monday or Tuesday I think, but I am trying my best not to test until then. Tbh, I don't really see the point in wasting tests as we didn't dtd enough this month. Im feeling ok about it though (Ha! Ask me the same on Tuesday, when AF comes!). Since we have booked the holiday, it's six of one and half a dozen of the other - if I get pregnant, then great! Thats, exactly what we want and we will be over the moon, but if we don't get pregnant, then I can enjoy this fabulous holiday, and all the inclusive jacuzzi's and mojitos to go with it!!!! We are certainly not stopping trying though.

my OH is going to give his second sample on Monday, so in a couple of weeks we will hopefully be able to eliminate him as being a 'problem'.

I hope everyone is feeling ok anyway. I'm glad you have an appointment Katie...enough is enough! Hope you and your DH are feeling better Fisher. xx

Oh no Loo! Were off now! AF hasent started here yet- I'm a bit iffy as to when she's expected since I'm not really sure what day I O'd but I guessed sometime between Mon & Thursday, I won't be testing at all this month since either day we totally missed the mark DTD. I guess now were all DTD on valentines day? (not even BFP by vday)

Well, I didn't get Provera or Clomid.....but we have been referred to a Fertility Specialist

My age, my wonky cycle, the length of time trying, and the fact we don't have kids, makes us eligible for immediate investigation under our PCT's guidelines. OH has got to hand in an SA at the lab today, so they can rule him out before they start fiddling about with me.

So I think we can call this progress! Although I would have much preferred either ov or AF

Well of course I did a test because I am COMPLETELY ridiculous (BFN) but there's not really any point. My cramps are starting so in the next day or so. I got my appointment reminder card from my Gyne yesterday so I'll need to schedule an appointment here. I'm kind of nervous about bringing this all up. That she's just going to be "ooooh it's fine it's only been 11 months..."
