Thanks for the excitement! I'm still reeling from the news. It's suddenly all very real.
We had our NT scan today. Everything looked good (I think?). Our tech was weird though. She didn't say a word. I just read all the measurements over her shoulder. Everything we asked about she just gave one word answer "yeah" Hubby was excited to get to see our little one moving around!
Pri: Did your sono tech give you results same day? I felt like tech didn't give us any info and was just going to let doc give results later? When I asked if things looked fine, though, she said "yeah". It was weird. I saw her do NT measurements and they were all under 2 so I figured we were fine.
I was measuring ahead again at 13weeks (also read that on screen, tech said nothing). Kind of wondering if we keep measuring ahead because my hubby is pretty tall? Just curious.
I finally let myself buy some things today. I finally bought a body pillow and to celebrate the scan I let myself get a newborn onesie that just says "free hugs"
AnnieMac: We did a marternit21 DNA test which they recommend to women 35 and over and it checks for chromosomal abnormalities using placental DNA that is in the mother's bloodstream. It is also able to check for Y chromosome so it can give gender at about 97% accuracy.
