Pri, he's adorable!

Dorian is feeding okay. Still supplementing about an ounce each feeding of expressed breast milk. He might have a slight tongue tie I'm thinking about getting clipped. I don't want to cause him pain but he's really not getting enough breast in his mouth to be as effective as he should be.

I'm counting the feedings at the time he starts, and yes, for the first week and a half we weren't getting much sleep. Definitely take advantage and sleep when he does! They say it really only takes about two hours for them to digest breast milk. Dorian would sleep through a nuclear war, so I really had to work at waking him up every two hours to feed. Now that he's up above birth weight, though, we have switched to feeding on demand. Our interval seems to be the natural one he has had all along- every three and a half hours or so. Good luck! It didn't take DH long to adjust to sleeping with the full lights on, lol...

The sweep was uncomfortable, but not as bad as I was expecting. I just had to breathe deeply through it.

Daisy- I have to ask to be checked, they just won't do it. I asked to get checked last week and was 3cm 50% effaced. Everyone kept telling me I would go over the weekend...well he we still are. I think they all jinxed me! lol

Pri- So nice to hear from you!! He is such a handsome little guy!!! All of these boys are going to be heart breakers. lol I am pretty sure that the only girls in here are Dreamer and I...explains the impatient waiting. lol

Fading- It doesn't sound pleasant, but at least its not too bad. Have you had anything else since?

Last night I was getting a few contractions but they fully stopped. I've had nothing today. 😕

They started to ask me at 37 weeks. I will have them check me again to see if things have progressed. I would think once you get to 4 cm it can't possibly be that long of a wait! FX that baby will come for you very soon Jules

fading, are you having any more symptoms? I was pretty uncomfortable during a cervix check, they really went for it and wiggled their fingers inside there. Felt all crampy and a little unpleasant. I don't think I will do a sweep but who knows how desperate I will be for baby to come by 40 weeks lol

I've made it to the 2nd trimester, you guys! Had my NT scan on Monday and results were normal, so all good! Yippee! Here's a scan pic. Based on nub theory, everyone is saying it's a girl but I guess we'll have to wait and see!

fading any signs at all for you? I just had a contraction that seemed to last a long time and the pain slightly reached my legs, like a burning sensation on the top of my thighs. Never had that one before

Not much at all today. Just lots of braxton hicks like normal. And I've been getting pressure on and off.

Thexfadingpat - Thank you! Yes we definitely want to find out. Hoping my doc will be able to tell at our 15 week appointment on March 1. Otherwise we have to wait until 19 weeks, meh. Sorry to hear that things aren't progressing quite yet. Seems like once it starts happening, it'll happen more suddenly so I hope it'll be soon for you!

Daisy - Thank you so much! Yes, I definitely feel a lot less worries. Plus I've been using my Doppler and have found the heartbeat right away each time so far. So happy to be in the 2nd tri! Feel like more of a true preggo now. Hopefully that stronger contraction means you'll be next to meet your baby! Looking forward to seeing little Zodi!

Daisy- Seems like you are having a lot of early labor signs. Hopefully that means your body is preparing for the real deal soon!

fading- I have my fingers crossed for you! A lot of people tell me there were no signs and it happened out of the blue so don't feel discouraged if not a lot seems to be happening.

Duster- Pleaseee keep spamming us of Dorians cute little face, I love seeing and reading updates. And I realized that Daisy is a team green mommy, I don't know why I said girl. lol Am I really the only girl mommy in the group so far?

AFM- Weird weird labor/waterbreaking dreams last night. One was so real! I startled awake and started to feel the sheets...super dry. lol My mom is convinced I will at least go into labor before tomorrow. Hopefully this is one of those intuitions she is right about.

I have a doctors appt. in about an hour so we will see what they say.

Well..on our way to the hospital to be monitored. I was 5cm and 90% effaced at my appt. I'm strep b positive so she is nervous that once labor hits they won't have time to administer antibiotics.

Fingers crossed they keep me!

AFM- still a whale, I have a MW appt tomorrow. Can cervical changes go backwards?? Like from 2 cm back to closed? I couldn't even find my own cervix last night wonder if it's too swollen or fingers are too short?

Daisy- As terrible as it is to hear I think you can progress backwards.. I'm sure it hasn't though. Finding your own cervix is just hard.

Im bouncing nonstop on my ball hoping that something starts. I know he'll come when he's ready, but I'm just so impatient. And I only have about 12 more days until they'll make me get an induction.

gosh I don't even want to think about overdue/induction, but it could be very real!
Can you DTD or bring yourself to O at all? Nipple stimulation seems to brig on contractions too
