Dorian is feeding okay. Still supplementing about an ounce each feeding of expressed breast milk. He might have a slight tongue tie I'm thinking about getting clipped. I don't want to cause him pain but he's really not getting enough breast in his mouth to be as effective as he should be.
I'm counting the feedings at the time he starts, and yes, for the first week and a half we weren't getting much sleep. Definitely take advantage and sleep when he does! They say it really only takes about two hours for them to digest breast milk. Dorian would sleep through a nuclear war, so I really had to work at waking him up every two hours to feed. Now that he's up above birth weight, though, we have switched to feeding on demand. Our interval seems to be the natural one he has had all along- every three and a half hours or so. Good luck! It didn't take DH long to adjust to sleeping with the full lights on, lol...
