Yes I love decorating my table on xmas eve all ready for the big day!! :happydance:

Yours looks fab! I love the fancy napkins

That's stunning! I always go to my parents for Xmas, and yes we do the full decorated table, with handmade centre piece as we live near a big wood so we get pine cones & holly leaned etc and spray them gold & silver. And the Christmas Cake, that I make, it the centre piece on the sideboard. :)

Your setting looks lovely, so magical!

We have a christmassy tablecloth and crackers, but that's all. Pre children hubby and I would have candles on the table, but it's just not worth the stress now! Thinking of getting a new cloth from next this year - we currently have a white cotton one with silver stars embroidered on it, and it has got a bit stained! Next have a red vinyl one, but need to check the measurements as the table is big.

This is our first year at home as a family and we have just bought a dining table.
Looking around to find some nice table linen in christmassy colours... Any ideas?

They have matching wrapping paper, too!

That's lovely and festive and the best bit you can wipe it clean :thumbup

Exactly! And loving the squirrels - we get them in the garden so the kids recognise them and I think they will like them, and it matches my red and white / scandi decoration theme. The large version is in my basket

I have just had a new kitchen/diner fitted and can't wait to decorate my table this year. I have always done it but will buy all new this year to go with the new kitchen :happydance:

Yes I usually do! We bought a disposable table cloth last year and it lasted a good week! Xx

We decorated ours for the first time last year.

For some reason I don't have a picture of the full table finished

I have a red table runner, with sequins on, then in the middle I usually stand a big pillar candle in the middle of a red berries wreath I have. I find there's not much room once you have crackers and glasses and then gravy boats etc on the day!

Kellyc, u love your Christmas tree in the glass jar...did you make it or where was it from?

Love the tables! We just do a cloth, I really need some nice Christmas dishes!!

We have Christmas dinner at my mums, but this year we SHOULD be in a nice new house with a kitchen/diner and will have a nice table, so I will probably get a nice Christmassy table runner and some candles, and as the kitchen is at the front of the house will also be getting lights for the window.
