Hiya, profile pic is under;
User CP(near the top right of the forum)
Then under the 'profile' section on the right hand side, click 'edit profile pic'.
I got confused between this and the avatar at first.

If you want one of those <-------- pictures (the avatar) then you need to look for 'settings and options' (all under user CP still)and click on 'edit avatar.

Hope this helps, took me a while to figure it all out.

I also used photobucket to crop/shrink my pics as they were too big to upload from original.
