So.... Big time breakthrough. Hubby and I went to a "cars and coffee" meet this morning and while we are standing in line for coffee he looks at me and says- "here's a deal for u... When I get my rims professionally finished, we can have a baby. I want the car to look nice to bring our baby out to these things"
I almost started happy crying right there!! Its only $300-400 and we could have that done by the end of the year... Then we started talking about it all and he didn't act all scared by it. This is really happening.... He gave me some sort of hope for when we can NTNP...

that's nice your parents helped so much! Mine were back and forth between helpful and harmful the entire process haha!

And I hope it is soon, he keeps telling me I'm giving him "baby eyes" when I think about it. But he says it with a smile. I really believe God heard my prayers and changed my husband's heart about having kids. It's like night and day his reaction to talking about babies. I am seriously on cloud 9 and we aren't even NTNP yet! you know I'll be squirreling money aside to get his rims all fixed up so we can have a baby!

How are u ladies feeling? Anyone close to testing or ovulating this cycle?

Haha I don't blame you hunni!! I'd do the same! Look at it this way, each day, week, month, that passes you get closer and closer to having your baby in your arms, no matter when it happens, each minute is one closer to that moment this is what got me through TTC!

I'm good Hun, not thinking about my cycles, trying not to so we can just relax and get on with it, I'm ignoring what my body is doing lol this means I'll not be saying much if anything about what's happening but I will be updating FF if you wanna check it out! By not talking about it I can ignore it easier xx

Laura, you're very lucky!! My mummy doesn't have any money, and my dad is loaded but we barely talk... Other halfs parents we owe a lot of money to already..
We have nothing saved up we spent all of our wedding money on Douglas when I found out i was pregnant so now we've got nothing left! Literally counting on winning the lottery hahaha!!
It'll happen one day, somehow!

Are you back to work now Laura? Couldn't remember if you started or were soon to start? How is it going?
I'm only doing 2 days a week but its killing me!! So tired all the time and miss my boy like crazy!

Ica- if you just want to be husband and wife, skip the party part and just get married "on paper" then for like 5 or 10 year anniversary do the whole ceremony, reception, honeymoon thing. Less pressure and you get to be his Mrs. That's what we wanted to do but my mom wouldn't have any of that. Lol
And thank you. I'm very happy. I joked saying he would put off getting the rims done so we could prevent longer, but he said no way. He seems happy to have come to this decision. It's still not fully sinking in that there is light at the end of the tunnel. Haha can't wrap my mind around it. Lol

ica - wednesday will be here before you know it hun We are very lucky hun, Douglas is worth it though i'm still counting on winning the lottery too hun, then i wont have to work! Started back 8th July and i hate every second of it upto 2:30pm when my horrible horrible boss leaves, she really is a vile person. But then the next minute its like shes your best friend head down! Just going until baby number 2 arrives then i'm out of there no matter what!

Mrsc it makes it so much easier! when i find myself thinking about it i tell myself 'not this cycle' xx

Laura- that's what I did last cycle and when I got the BFN, it was so much easier to take cuz I wasn't getting my hopes up. I was just realistic about it, I knew the chances were slim and hubby hadn't decided he was ready yet, so it was better if I got a BFN anyway. It made it much much much less stressful. Though when the TWW came I was still anxious to just know yes/no, just without the pressure of wanting that BFP so bad. Lol

My hubby is so cute, he thinks we are gonna get pregnant on our first go at it... Lol I keep telling him it's unlikely it will happen, but he is pretty convinced. I hope he doesn't get disappointed if we don't on our first go. I'm hoping to start trying by October. I really wamna be pregnant before February- we dont want another november baby, all his cousin's kids have late Oct or November birthdays lol. We will see how it all goes with the rims I guess haha and only God knows how long it will take to conceive!

Corny: I am so very happy for you.
God is there and he listens to our sincere prayers. U are a strong believer of his blessings right. He heard u hun.

About conceiving on first try its totally on luck. Definitely u can. My husband also thought that we would conceive in one shot. But don't know its taking a lot longer. But I am happy that we both are going to try together (he is ready to put his heart to this baby thing) for our baby from coming cycle. I will not be disappointed if we don't conceive right away after starting to TTC. I am happy because he is with me now in the process. We are going to try and leave the things to God. Hope he will bless us all soon.


Btw I will be testing on 20th if no AF. But I know the chances are slim.

It certainly does make things a whole lot easier if you don't have your hopes up! Plus I was convinced I wasn't pregnant the cycle I conceived Oscar so here's hoping!!

So im a little, heck no a lot excited!!! Heard from the photographers today, they're hoping to have our pics done by the end of the week and online for us to look at, then we sit with them and put together our wedding album to send off to the printers and we asked about getting all the engagement pictures on a disc and they'll do us a fab offer on them so I've ordered them tonight just need to pay still dropping myself when I think about TTC too, feels good

Waiting for the hubby to come to bed and snuggle so night all xxx

I can't wait for the first month we start NTNP, u know I'm gonna make sure we DTD during fertile time- I know when it is so I won't be able to help it. I just don't wanna pressure it. Lol oh I'm still so excited! I must've have asked him if he was serious about 20 times already- he hasn't hesitated once. He really means it, when we get the rims refinished, we can start NTNP... It just won't sink in... Haha!

Hahahaha! Laura- ur the best, too funny! Now he says he might want a May baby, which would mean "trying" this month!!! We will have to see how the 19-23rd goes! Lol (trying for us is really just NTNP lol)
And he's got a few new clients that want their cars photographed so he could make the money for rims REAL quick if they make their appts soon!

Well, looks like I only get one wish.... Went to see my grandma last week and since she has shingles she has gotten weak, just one week later I am here no she is so so much worse... Barely eating, can hardly talk... She is now on hospice care...terminal. I so wanted her to meet a great-grand baby... Maybe we will get pregnant before she goes to heaven and at least get to touch my belly... Idk... My heart is breaking... sorry to unload here... I don't have many ppl to talk to cuz I'm a nanny so I only work with kids.
