I am knackered! Got up, got the girls breakfast, had breakfast myself then went and cleaned out the rabbit and rat cages. Stopped to do everyones lunch and then went and finished completely cleaning the kitchen. Then completely blitzed the lounge. Just fed C, Es dinner is cooking. Then I will bath both the girls and put them to bed. Have dinner myself then collapse on the sofa and not move for anyone!

Over tomorrow and Friday, I will blitz Es bedroom, my bedroom and the bathroom and then I will have one clean house!

But why is it that when you put the dogs toys away, must they go and get them all back out?! Grr!

So guess what I got today..... My first ever positive OPK here's hoping I actually have ovd today, I think I've now noticed that once I do ov I have more BM's a day (sorry tmi) but I'm normally one a day, today 2 and gassy and I was like this the end of last cycle/after ov last cycle too! Wonder why this is??

Sorry - I'm new to all of this! So I'm sorry if I am posting in the wrong area etc! Lol. I'm 29 years old and am currently TTC my first. I've never really been a 'wanting kids' type of person.... but I'm about to turn 30 and I have had a change of heart! We aren't 100% crazy trying to conceive.... we just aren't NOT trying if that makes sense!

My husband and are decided that we would maybe start trying. I have been on the pill since I was 17. I skipped my period for that whole time and maybe had it once a year. The doctor told me that was fine. Since going off the pill about 6 months ago - my cycles have been really messed up!!! (here I was thinking that everything would go back to normal as soon as I went off the pill) how wrong was I!!!

I didn't get my period for over 3 months after coming off the pill. When I did get it - it was REALLY heavy, which was unusual for me because mine was never heavy. I didn't even get a period pain until I was on the pill! So now my period was really heavy, but only lasted for 3 days, which was strange as they usually go for 5 or 6.

So after that... my cycles were ranging from anything from 35ish days to 60's days. I only every once got a positive Ovulation test in that whole time. This was most likely due to testing at the wrong times.... but it was so hard to work out when I may have been ovulating as my cycles were so irregular.

This may sound like way too much info - but this whole time, I hardly ever got any cervical mucus. I can honestly say that prior to this I never, ever really paid any attention to it - so I'm unsure whether this is unusual for me or not.

So I've been off the pill for over 6 months - having unprotected sex regularly and I'm still not pregnant. These last 2 months have been the most regular cycles being around 30 - 31 days.

I started doing the Ovulation tests on CD 17 and got a negative. Then a positive on CD18. We had sex that night and the next morning (I had a little bit of EWCM). I never bothered testing again after that. Then on CD20 I tested again because I felt like I was getting ovulation pain & I still had EWCM. I got a positive. Then 3 more positives each day after that! Its so strange!

We have had sex on most of those days so far as well. This morning I went to the bathroom and had a LOT of EWCM - which is really strange for me. I've never seen this much before! I didn't do an ovulation test this morning, but will do one this afternoon. I still have what feels like ovulation pain. But I will note that I usually get ovulation pain on my left side... but this pain seems to be below my belly button in the middle.

Is it strange to get 6 days worth of positive ovulation tests?! I did a pregnancy tests and it came back negative - although it may be too early to test as I only got the first positive ovulation test 5 days prior!

Can someone please help me?! LOL.... I'm hopeless with all of this TTC stuff as Ive never really paid any attention to it!!!! All of your information would be greatly appreciated!

Hey hunni! Welcome!

First off sounds like your cycles are like mine, long and irregular, I didn't have any CM at all and conceived on a 60day cycle after 9months. Now on month 6 TTC num 2.

I'd suggest doing one ov test each day from when AF leaves to the end of your cycle, do you chart? Temp? This is my test this month, to pinpoint ov and the correlation between that and ov as urged by a friend who did it and found she wasn't oving when she got her first pos OPK but was giving up after the first pos so missed ov for 2.5years, when she realised this she conceived within 3months! Also make sure you DTD every other day to maximise your chances. The other thing I've done this month is take agnus castus and vitamin b complex to encourage ov to happen sooner and increase my LP as I found it to be 11days last cycle.

Its not unusual for your body to still be figuring outits cycle after 6 months! But it sounds like you are becoming more regular which is good!
Opk will determine fertile days, not ovulation days. So yes being fertile for 4-6 days might be true in your case. The increased Ewcm is a great indicator that ov is coming, prob, today or tomorrow...

Maria last cycle I ovd on cd32, this cycle I got my first positive yesterday at cd24 so fx ov actually happens before cd32 so it looks like it is working along with the AC hopefully it lengthens my LP too as it was only 11 last cycle. Good thing is if I wanted until AF is due I've only gotta wait until 11dpo to test

Oh no Hun that's the worst which inhaler do you have? I used to be on salbutamol but it didn't work so they switched me to ventolin and it's much better!

I kinda hope I ov tomorrow, really don't think I'll want tonight we DTD last night though just incase!

I am on the blue and brown one (I know the blue is ventolin but no idea what the brown is called). It usually works but yesterday was just one of those days with cleaning the animals out and going mental on the kitchen and lounge.

If you can, just BD every other day.

Sounds awfully frustrating! But it does sound like your cycles are getting more normal.
I was on the pill for about 5 years, got my period every month. Went off it in February, I think my cycles are still working themselves out, between 25-37 days is what has been the norm.
Well, I hope you stick around the thread here, this has been a great support group for all of us.

AFM: I got up like 3 times last night to pee... Getting cramps, keep thinking AF is gonna hit. But I guess it could be either. Idk.... I wanna test but since idk when I Ov'ed, I don't want to waste a test and the heartache of a BFN in case it's too early.
If I can just wait til hubby's birthday (Nov 15)... Although I feel like I can test tomorrow. Last cycle was only 32 days... :/ if it's BFP, I'll just give him an early bday surprise I guess. I can't wait til the 15th, that's another whole week!!! Ugh! Lol

AFM: My dentist said I have four cavities. Two of those are minor but still need filling. Then two wisdom teeth extraction. First I need to book an appointment for cavity filling and then after few days I have to go for extraction.

Pal- I've had cavities filled and all 4 wisdom teeth out. I had no problems. Don't be nervous hun! It's important to get that taken care of and taken care of right, you don't want infections in your head- too close to brain!! Eek!

Nothing new today except cramping in uterus area when I workout. :/ had to stop short and cool down. I think I may have just been pushing too hard. Trying to work the feelings out lol

I'm gonna test tomorrow morning, the only thing I have to do all day is 2 client sessions at 4pm. So I can have time to let whatever the outcome is sink in before I have to do anything. If it is BFP, though, hubby will be gettin an early birthday present. Can't wait a whole week without telling him! Haha
I'll have to find some other funny way to tell him!
