Am supervising homework time with Insomnikid and am SO FRUSTRATED. GRRRRR. Jealous of all of you that are organized enough & determined enough to lose the lbs. I seem (knock on wood) to have got organized about the house, for possibly the first time in my life Am actively looking for a job but seems to be nothing out this way.

Hope you're all doing brilliantly.

poor owen is so snuffly! he's off his food too! hopefully it will pass soon (fingers crossed)! meeting my parents in a bit as they're taking me out for lunch for my bday when dylan and erin come out from school and nursery. just got owen to nap so going to try and have my tea whilst it's still semi hot! lol!

i did get to have my semi hot tea (and some choccie biscuits ) now going to sort out my bag to make sure i have everything i need to go out in a bit.

oh and my parents are buying owen a maclaren XT! it will make it far easier for the times i need to use the bus or car on my own. i will still use the my4 for going to town though as i love having owen facing me.

Wooooot! Happy Birthday Maybe! Sorry bout Owen's cold. I don't know about the house.... I just decided I wanted it clean to make ME happy, and I did it. Maybe I'm more motivated that way than when it's OH nagging.

Erm, no I didn't get up Well not in time for baby club anyway - its bloomin freezing outside and we are meeting my new mummy friends tomorrow for a walk so we will still get a bit of socialising in this week

Insomnimama I struggle with the house with one baby!! I think I need you to give me some lessons

Well Steve is working this afternoon so Oliver and I are chilling - he's in his Jumperoo and I'm having a cuppa and some Jaffa Cakes I have some housework to do - as always. I feel a bit guilty though doing boring things like housework while Oliver is awake . . . . I feel like I should be giving him all my attention though I know thats not always possible, and he's quite happy to play on his own now and then. Does anyone else feel like that?

Sarah so funny you should say that, I've just tried to do some ironing and Will was demanding my attention and I had the whole, I should be giving him my undivided attention and he has to learn to play debate in my head. The undivided attention won!

We had a lovely day with my Mum yesterday, we didn't really do much. Will wasn't completely on form and I still sound like I've smoked about 500 fags. That's not as bad as the cough, which really makes Will jump and I seem to need to cough right when he's feeding.

Maybe do you think Owen's cold might be due to his teeth? **** VERY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU ****

Bought Will some bickiepegs yesterday and they were an instant success.

Had my haircut this morning and ended feeding Will under the thing they put over you, was really funny, when he surfaced he was bright red and looked milk drunk - hee hee!!

maybebaby3 - Happy Birthday I don't know how about insomnimama but I use kids and OH to help me sort the things. I would never be okey with just me dealing with those things.

Now everything's clear, today we bought tickets for a skitrip, we're going for a week in end of Dec/early Jan. This time I can snowboard too And we're also planning a weekend abrod, just me and OH Can't wait.

Hope everyone is having a lovely day.

We have just relaxed all day and then nipped to ikea and on the way back went to check my car is at the dealership ready for collection tomorrow and it wasnt there yet. We are praying it arrives this evening as we need to collect it tomorrow morning ... and fingers crossed the insurance certificate arrives in time other wise tomorrow is going to be mayhem! I'm also supposed to be going to lunch with my mummy friends tomorrow but I guess I will just have to see how the day goes!

insomnimama - my DH moans at me about the house and its the most unmotivating thing much better to do it for you

marta - your children are much better behaved than mine I have to ask them over and over and over again to do anything until I get so bored asking I forget what I've asked lucky you going snowboarding and for a romantic getaway

sarah - I feel like that, I really begrudge having to do housework. I feel so mean! He's normally quite happy entertaining himself briefly while I keep on top of washing up and cooking etc but I still feel like I should be nurturing him 24/7. Plus I'd rather be doing that too

Well Alex and I went to baby massage and we loved it!! He's so sociable, he loves other babies and he squealed with joy all through the massage. I am going to take him to every group I can, its so much fun!

L-C thats exactly it - undivided attention normally wins here too I don't even attempt the ironing until he's in bed!

Martia your holidays sound great! I'm not sure when we will next get away. We usually have a little city break somewhere in Europe in November / December but I don't think we will this year, it seems like a lot of stress for a mini break

During Oliver's naps today I've been setting up an online shop, its just on Facebook but I'm quite pleased so far I had planned to do some craft fayres but this is so much easier - fingers crossed it works lol! I'm hopefully going to get an add on here. I've got quite a bit of stock so I'm slowly taking photos and loading them up . . . hopefully in a few days I will be up and running!

Oliver and I are meeting two of the mums and babies from Baby Massage tomorrow, we're going to have a nice walk around the park

yes it was I wish sure start had been up and running when I had my girls, I used to get quite lonely. It's such a lovely thing
