Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

hellllooooo!

LC - Alex kept gum biting me before his teeth came through, it was sooo painful!! And today he bit me for the first time with teeth, my eyes watered it was soooo painful! :sad2: :haha: booo tobaby massage being cancelled :hugs:

frufru - thats so great Joni has cracked nights  I cant believe that bloke had a go about the tele though  I wouldve said "excuuuuuuuuuse me!!! :saywhat: that is so rude and presumptious!! Hope you enjoyed baby yoga :hugs:

maybe - we usually hide pressies in the loft but the girls follow us up everytime we put something away (eg when alex grows out of clothes) and I'm so worried about them finding them this year. They both still believe in santa which is so lovely and I think it might be the last year Emily does so I really dont want to spoil it :winkwink:

sarah - my hair feels so much better, it was really long but soooo split! i just had a couple of inches off and the layers put back in but I can run my fingers through it now rather than them getting stuck in the tangled dead ends  was really nice to just sit and be pampered. My hairdressers do a mean hot chocolate with whipped cream and marshmallows - mmm heaven :cloud9:

H&F - my friend who found she had a MMC on Fri ended up in A&E on sunday in more pain than she could cope with and they gave her morphine! She had an ERPC and they gave her an injection to contract the uterus and stop the pain. I really think you should get a second opinion :hugs:

emera - go Roh! :happydance: Iknow it'll be bedlam when Alex can crawl but I'm so excited about that milestone! It opens up a whole new world to them doesnt it :) Alex is way off that though :haha:

well Alex was a bit better today so i got my hair cut finally. He's been grizzly since I put him down though, really struggling to breathe. I tried the new calpol nasal spray but he HATED it :dohh: He was awake between 4 and 5.30am last night so I am knackered and expecting the same tonight!

Katie what a bitch!!!! how did you know it was her? and poor Daisy!! so scary :hugs: :hugs: i'm glad she was OK xxxxx

Katie :hugs: I'm glad Daisy is okay!! Can't believe V's ex, what a cow! Is it tax credits or something that she's reported you for? Silly moo, she will feel so stoopid when nothing happens! Don't worry about it, you've done nothing wrong so more fool her. Gosh I hate people like that!! Hope you enjoyed Harry Potter btw, was it good?

Amy that's so lovely that the girls still believe in Santa!! Glad your hair cut went well, I'm sooo looking forward to mine! Bet I don't get one of those hot chocolates though, sounds lovely!!

Well there is something wrong with our internet tonight, its on and off, so I've given up on it and I'm on my phone. Just off to bed soon, managed to get a shower and do my nails so that was nice :)

OOOh Hannah - is there a picture we can see? how exciting!

Sarah - enjoy your "me time" at the hairdressers.

I'm up way too late again, going to be sooo tired tomorrow! x

I tested - :bfn: sorry for being such an idiot about it all and thanks for bearing with me :hugs:

Amy - I can't find a picture because it was in the sale :( was reduced quite a bit though - from over a thousand to quite a bit under :) The woman said that I don't have to order Amelia's dress until a couple of weeks before which is good because I have no idea what size she'll be in! :haha:

Sorry about the bfn hun :( and you wasn't being an idiot hun, i would have been worried too

What's everyone up to today? Weather's awful so its probably more wedding planning/ trying to do some of my course and look after Amelia :)

Amy - I'm glad you tested :hugs: Now have another word with oh about getting the snip, just to make him sqirm after he wasn't too understanding :haha:

Hannah that's fab about the dress!

My internet is still playing up, are its driving me mad! So I'm on my phone again. Oliver and I just had breakfast - so we have two slices of toast and most of a mango and half a melon chucked on the floor :haha: Oliver decided to get up at 6am today, a good two hours earlier than normal. I can see me falling asleep at the hair dressers!!

just a quick one as i have to go and fetch erin from nursery.

amy - i'm glad you tested and got bfn!

hannah - pics of dress?!!

sarah - hope your internet sorts itself soon!

katie - what a cow! :hugs:

i was getting worried with all the talk of pregnancies so i went out this morning and bought a test and thankfully bfn! i have never been so glad to see a bfn in my life!!! i guess feeling sick is just down to eating too much crap  and being tired is from lack of

catch you all later :hugs:

Thanks ladies!!:hugs::hugs::hugs:

Maybe - thats how i felt! I've even had a cheeky glass of wine to celebrate :haha::blush: i do actually feel like I want another one but I dont know if thats just becasue Alex was my last one but I dont want another one now and DH has said he wants the snip now so thats that. I (like you ) have three beautiful children though so we are very lucky.

hannah - yey for getting a bargain!!! I bet its gorgeous :hugs:

sarah - :dohh: to oliver getting you up early. I hope you dont fall asleep in the chair and if you do i want pictures :winkwink::haha:

Maybe - I can't find a pic because it's not on the website coz it's been discontinued :(

Amy - I know I was quite shocked :happydance:

amy i feel the same as you about wanting another but being if thats coz i know owen will be my last! i definately dont want another right now tho!!!

Yay for the dress Hannah - do you know which designer it is? I ordered mine in August and can't wait for it to arrive!

We had another 2 acceptances to the wedding today but one will have to bring their baby our wedding is going to be so crowded ... but I would prefer them to bring the little one rather than miss out on the day. I;m just wondering if there is some sort of childcare just for over the meal to keep an eye on the small children.

I'm off to weight watchers really not looking forward to it as I know I am going to put on - prob about 8lbs and my leader is going to be a nightmare. argh.

How is everyone today?

H and F there is a company called safe hands who I used once or twice for childcare at weddings, they are priceyy though. I think that's a national company, I'll look for you if I get chance later on :) if there are lots of kids (running around age) I'd recommmend getting a childrens entertainer, esp for during speeches.

I had my hair done and I love it :) its not too different in the cut, but I've had red highlights put through and they are lovely, I'm really pleased :)

Good luck at the weigh in Sarah! Don't be hard on yourself, you've been through sp much these past few weeks!! How are you feeling?

I'm going to have a few kids at my wedding too, Amelia will be 14 months then :) The man who owns where am getting married to said that we could bring a travel cot for the evening reception and there's a quiet room where she can sleep in their with monitor which I thought was nice :)

Hope - When are you getting married hun? I didn't have to order mine luckily, it was off the sale rail :) Mine's by Sophia Tolli I think :) The woman in the shop said I had the perfect figure, haha yeah right

Amelia's been crabby all day, whining because of her teeth poor girl :( So i've kind of got a headache :haha: I can't wait until she goes to bed lol.

Hello

Hope you are all doing ok, H&F hope your weigh in went well, don't be hard on yourself you really have been though the mill. :hugs:

Amy - pheweeeee, glad it was the result you wanted!

Sarah glad you had a nice time getting your hair done, can we see a pic? For Christmas I bought Will the v-tech crawling ball thingy, a frog that generates bubbles for the bath and a set huge stacking cups, that has flashing balls that spiral down through them. He loves his stacking cups. Also bought him some toys for the swimming pool x

Hannah - well done on getting your dress, mine was £40 from the hotel shop on the day of the Wedding (and was perfect - thankfully!!).

My Mum has been here today and we went Christmas shopping and went out for lunch, Will's teeth gave him a break and he was just gorgeous through lunch and slept in the afternoon so we could mooch around the shops. I bought him a really cute hat and gloves set, the hat has ears and the mitts are little paws. :cloud9:

My clever little man has been on all fours today and almost crawling so I also bought another stairgate for the top!! :cloud9: I rang my DH all excited and he said oh yeah he was doing that last night :dohh:

Hi

I am here Sarah thanks for asking about me. I usually manage to catch up on the thread every few days but have been trying to spend less time on the computer in the evenings so don't always have time to reply.

Oliver now has two teeth! :happydance: I have also managed to get him to go to sleep in a Grobag for the first time as any other time I have tried he kicked and kicked and complained until i took it off so we will see how long he sleeps as his sleep has been a bit of a mare recently which has most likely been due to his two teeth (he got one a couple of weeks ago and the other yesterday).

He is doing well with the BLW and is keen to try everything (apart from egg, he is never very interested in that). Also he loves water from his cup, he gets lots in his mouth, swallows some and then lets the rest dribble out and down his chin. My H thinks that it's because the feel of the cool water over his sore gums is nice and soothing. It surprised me that he will happily take water from a cup when he has always point blank refused milk from a bottle and has never had it from anywhere other than direct from the source!

Hope you are all well.

Amy glad you finally tested!
LC we bought that ball too. Each time we have bought something I have wanted to give it to Oliver straight away as I am sure he will love the presents

H&F - dont worry about weigh in, you did fab before and once you're "back on the wagon" you'll do great at weight loss again. can we see pics of your wedding dress? :winkwink:

Hannah - Hope Amelia is OK and your headache goes soon :hugs:

LC - well done Will! the hat and gloves sound lovely. I love things with ears :hugs:

sarah - oooh your hair sounds lovely! very christmassy :winkwink:

mudddles - Lovely to hear from you :hugs: Alex drinks like that from a cup too :haha: I hope Oliver's sleep settles down now his teeth are through :hugs:

Well my sister came round for lunch today and then we went for a stroll around the village. It was sunny but frrrreeeeezzzziiinnng. Cant believe we're forecast snow :cold:

Evening!

Hi Muddles ;) Glad you and Oliver are doing well. :hugs:

Amy - Good that you tested, now you can stop worrying :winkwink:

Sarah - to answer you, no Roh isn't crawling all the time (fortunately!) He's still doing alot of his travelling by rolling, and he uses a combination of the 2 to get pretty much anywhere he likes really quite fast. Although he basically only seems to want to get under the sofa, and into the bottom of his activity centre at the moment :haha: oh, and if we are in bed he's desparate to reach my alarm clock :dohh: I think his little bouncy chair might have to go too, because, even strapped in he managed to roll over, wiggle his legs out of the straps and then when i turned round he was standing on the floor, trying to climb back into it :dohh: all that in about 30 seconds, so thats not safe anymore. Guess i'll have to strap him in his highchair whenever we are in the kitchen now.

L-C - Go Will! :happydance:

Well Roh ate a whole banana yesterday! I gave him it broken in half like normal, because usually most of it ends up on the floor, naturally, but this time he just chomped the whole thing down, and then picked up the other half and did the same

Ergh, spent last night argueing with OH, as he's being a nightmare and only wanting to play computer games again. It was Roh's bathtime and he'd already told me he wanted to do it, but then when i had the bath run etc, he got all pissed off with me because it was interrupting him  and then i could hear him in the bath swearing at Roh :growlmad: its something he's done before, and i absolutely HATE it, it makes me soooo angry! :gun: I went nuts and basically kicked him out of the bathroom and told him to go do whatever it was that was more important than spending time with his son and put Roh to bed myself. I didn't want to shout or anything, as i didn't want to upset Roh but i could have killed him at that point!! Anyway, once Roh was asleep i told him he could either live up to his responsibilities and grow up, or he could live a single lad's lifestyle, but to do that he would need to be single. Anyway, hopefully it gave him a wake up call. I've been at work today and i've come home to a happy baby and all the washing up and laundry done, which is like a miracle. hope it lasts.

I was nearly an hour late getting home from work because i had to take a massive detour around the student demonstrations which were smack between my work and home. There were sooo many police all in full riot gear, and mounted police too, wow those horses are huge!

Well i have a busy weekend coming up for once! :) I'll have to use tomorrow to get some paperwork done :( boring!!

:hugs:
