Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

sarah :hugs: the shed better be a big one  and sod beds i think hay is good enough :haha: :muaha:

sarah - I need a hysterical laughter smiley  thats exactly the kind of thing Kerry would do if he said something to upset me! He calls me an idiot if I cry and says "just becasue you cry doesnt make you right" :dohh: I'm sorry Steve upset you :hugs: I think definately sod the hay :haha::haha::haha: I'm not allowed to watch OBEM :( but he doesnt mind silent witness and thats good. I bet if you took a photo of yourself and then have a proper look you'd realise how lovely you look :hugs:

maybe - you should treat yourself! You're lucky you earn more than him, my life would be very different if I earnt more (sigh). oh well, I've just read an email from my boss and they've ok'd my reduction in hours! :happydance: just the kerry hurdle to get over now  I'm hoping to do 4 days a week until Alex is one and then work every other Friday, so that will be 33.75hrs a week. Kerry can condense his hours and work 10 days in 9 and have the other Friday off.

I feel sick, I ate two of the bags of sweets Kerry got me.... they were large bags :blush::blush: my jaw hurts from chewing

Amy bloody men!!! Shall we run off together? :haha:

One Born Every Minute is scarey. There is a woman screaming like someone is actually removing her eyes with a spoon.

If I make loads of money like you ladies think I will (and lets face it, you're all right about everything else!! :haha:) I'm going to employ you as something or other (like 'online counciling') and pay you enough so that you earn lots more than Kerry :haha:

Oh, and YAY for your hours!!!! Sod Kerry, he can like it or lump it.

I heard the woman going "ahhhh" on the opening bit and it gave me the eebie jeebies :haha: when I had Alex there was a woman in the next room effing and blinding and screaming like that. I definately had an easy time even though they thought I was having a partial abruption! I actually enjoyed having Alex compared to my other two labours.

hahaha yes lets run off together :happydance: bloody men indeed! :dohh:

Oh she really did shout! I bet she had a shocking sore throat! And that was with pethadine and an epidural . . . . eek!

I didn't really mind mine, it was very straight forward though so I know I'm very lucky. There was a lady shouting when I went onto the ward and she was shouting 'Get it out!!' and I was a bit  When I was pushing (and making a little bit of noise :haha:) the lady in the room next to me was too, but she was MUCH louder and I think she drowned me out

Where shall we run away to? Oh yeah lets run away and buy some ponies :haha:

Crikey what is it with the menfolk at the moment  :dohh:

Maybebaby your OH was well out of order reacting like that and destroying the netbook :nope: Is it just the screen that is bust? The reason I ask is that after the EBM laptop incident in our house we were able to buy a replacement screen for the netbook rom ebay and replace it ourselves using instructions from youtube! I think the screen was about 75-80 quid.

Amy, for what it is worth I think Kerry needs a reality check. I can't believe he told your mutual friends you stole from him :growlmad: Now if you had spent all your money on shoes and sparkly diamonds and then reduced your standing order he might have something to complain about :winkwink: but when you are on reduced pay and using the money to look after the children you have together and he is earning so much and only using the surplus to treat himself :nope: I should be quiet now, my Mum always says if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all.
I think you should use :holly: as your hysterical laughter smiley :haha:

Sarah - I am sorry Steve upset you and failed to apologise properly :hugs:

L-C - I am really sorry to hear about your MIL, wishing her a speedy recovery. You make me laugh about being on the Freddo wagon

-------------------------------------------------------

There is no easy way to say this and I feel bad making a fuss when you all have your own things going on. I am really struggling  I think all the upset, stress and grief of last year has finally caught up with me. It is weird as I will be fine and really upbeat and positive for a few days (almost manic if I am honest) and then out of nowhere, with no warning, I feel as though I have been sucked into a big black hole  Over the last week I have had a long conversation with my Mum, hubby and a good friend about everything and anything and I think it is time that I had some independent professional help. The lovely Emera gave me some details of a charity based grief counselling group who I am going to contact and I am also going to seek some advice from my GP too. Hopefully with a little extra support and guidance I will find my way back to myself. Phew, it actually feels a little bit better just to say all that.

I managed to pull myself out of my grumpy mood this morning and went on to spent a lovely afternoon with a good friend and her two boys. Then when I got home hubby had bought us a lovely dinner

Joni has been getting right up on her knees since last night, it is so wonderful seeing her learn new things so quickly :) She really enjoyed playing with my friends 9 month old today, whenever Joni cried he would roll over to her, babble and she would stop  it was so so cute!

Well, bed is beckoning as who know what time my midnight monkey will get me up :winkwink: Sleep tight :hugs:

Ps - yay for your hours Amy :happydance:

Oh FruFru :hugs: :hugs: I'm sure I speak for us all when I say if there is anything at all we can help with, we are all always here for you :hugs: You have been through so, so much, I really doubt that anyone could deal with all that without help. I am sure that you will be back on top form very soon - just don't expect too much from yourself and make sure you congratulate yourself for small successes, if that makes sense. Oh I want to give you such a huge :hugs:

Oh gosh, LC I forgot to say about your MIL, what a drama! I hope she's okay!! :hugs:

frufru - :hugs: you are a really strong person! about the netbook well he hit it so hard that god knows if its just the screen thats gone  i had lots of school stuff and my recent job applcations on it :growlmad: it's not going to be replaced either :grr:

:hugs:frufru - :hugs::hugs::hugs::hugs: you have been through more than most people could deal with in the last year but I think you are an amazing person, a fantastic mummy, a wonderful wife and a brilliant friend to all of us. Never feel you cant post because I drivvle on about Kerry, its insignificant in comparison. I think you are very brave for carrying on as long as you have without counselling (sp). I honestly dont know if I could cope with what you've been through :hugs:

I'm glad you had a lovely afternoon and  to your hubby for getting you a lovely dinner :hugs:

Morning all!

Some 'good morning' hugs for you FruFru :hugs: :hugs: I hope you have a good day sweetie :hugs:

Oh go on then, you can all have some :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: :haha:

Maybe has your OH not got anything you could sell and use the money to pay for a new netbook? Does he not feel bad about it? :grr:

Oliver was much less wriggley last night, phew! so maybe that was a phase . . . he does have a habit of learning how to do something, doing it all the time and then forgettin about it :haha: I did just catch him trying to pull himself up to standing though  I've got a fifty quid Amazon voucher coming as a bonus from work and I'm thinking I might put it towards a playpen . . . . if we can fit one into out lounge :dohh:

Right well Oliver and I are going to go and get breaskfast, I hope you all have a good day!!

xx

Thank you ladies :hugs: you are all stars :hugs2:

I am still a little shocked by the netbook incident Maybebaby. I just can't see why would Danny do something like that!?!?!? It just seems so rude and inconsiderate to treat someone elses belongings like that :nope: Particularly when he is so concerned about money and knows it would not be replaced

Yay for the vouchers Sarah. I was looking at playpens on amazon, not that I have room for one :dohh:, and I loved the look of this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Graco-Play..._2?ie=UTF8&s=baby&qid=1294732577&sr=8-2-spell the reviews are really positive. When I win the lottery and get my mansion/commune estate I will have one of these for Joni :winkwink:
I forgot to say yesterday that Joni is a really mobile and wiggly baby at night. Although she can't crawl she can wriggle and shuffle to turn herself 180 degrees (and the rest). Last night when she woke at 1am I found her on her front laying across the width of the cot but right up at the end. As she is so tall, she is longer than the cot is wide now, her head was grating against the bars :nope: Once again I am grateful for the airwrap cot bumper which at least gives a little bit of cushioning. On one hand I am happy for Joni to take her time to crawl, but on the other I will be glad when she can resposition herself in the night so she does not cry for me to come and do it!

Amy I don't think your situation with Kerry is insignificant :hugs:

Righto, its nearly naptime so I best get my little lady sorted. I am hopefully seeing a very dear friend today and also have a birthday party this afternoon if I can fit it all in! Have a lovely day all and once again thank you for being so lovely and wonderful :hugs2:

sarah - the poor netbook had been dropped a few times and the other day he'd left it on the sofa and erin trod on it :dohh: so apparently erin broke it :saywhat:

frufru - although the netbook was really mine as it was pink :haha: and for me to take to school, we both used it so i dont think he sees it as smashing my laptop but as smashing our laptop :dohh: :grr:

well owen has fallen asleep bf so am going to put him down and tackle some chores...............if he doesnt wake! :haha:

Gosh Maybe, he's blaming erin?!?! Even if Erin had damaged it a little he certanly finished off the job!! I am shocked, he seems to know no limits!!

Even if Erin did break it, she was not the one who did not put it away. I do detest tattletales :winkwink:

I meant to say earlier for L-C & Emera, have you ladies invested in any arnica cream? If not I would highly recommend it for treating any bumps &/or bruises Will and Roh incur on their adventures. You can get it from Holland & Barrett and most good independent healthfood/alternative remedy shops I have my tube ready and waiting

Joni is looking particularly red in the face this morning, even more so after her nap, I think her teething is peaking again poor wee thing *dashes off to find the ashton parsons*

Must get off the computer and hoover the lounge :haha:

frufru - i always had arnica cream in my bag when dylan started to walk, he fell all the time! :haha:

Danny just text me to say when he gets the holiday pay he is owed from his old job maybe i can get a macbook. if that is the case i'm glad he smashed the netbook :haha: we shall see what happens though! i'm not counting my chickens...........
