sarah - have u tried feeding oliver in the rugby ball position on the breast he finds it harder to latch on to? that can help sometimes. do u feed lying down in bed? owen feeds well like that.

janny - i think that if you have an immaculate house and a newborn then you either have a textbook baby or you are spending too much time on housework and not enough time resting. babies cant distinguish between night and day til about 6wks so am not stressing about routine now!

bexxie - sorry that things are stressful right now. i know how you feel as erin was a complete nightmare baby and screamed like a banshee all day long!!! hope things get better soon. having 3 kids is not a picnic, that's for sure!

CG - lovely pics of Che!!!

frufru - i have been using a dummy with owen since birth and he is a bf baby and i've had no problems with nipple confusion either, neither did either of my other 2 children!

OH taken dylan and erin to the playground. have cleared out the big tallboy in the kitchen and now going to order the contents and throw out expired food! if owen doesnt wake for a feed!!!

I have another question about bottle feeding. Bobby will at time seem to forget the the bottle teat is in his mouth (or at least that's what I think is happening.) He will open his mouth while the teat is in there and move his head from side to side and start crying. Sometimes when I take out the teat and put it back in he will start sucking again but other times I have to calm him down and try again. Do you know what this is about? It's so frustrating when it happens especially at night :(

Does anyone know what I am talking about?

its wind sweetie,I am on gripe water and its fab!!!!

Well after all my complaining H slept 7pm til 3am then 4am til 8am and been sleep now since 11am,mental! Am so chuffed! Got soo much done then school phoned chloe not well:growlmad: grr something to do with staying up all night on sleepover then? hmmmmm
xx

Argh I've just had a call from the urologist at alder hey to say he's got an outpatient clinic tomorrow and he wants to see Daisy at 2.40, and we have to go to ultrasound at 1.45. I'm worried, they said they didn't want to see her for 5/6 weeks, and it's been like.. 2? Jchovfivddugxfuv.

I would say the sooner Daisy is seen the better as at least you will know what needs to be done. Maybe they said 5/6weeks as they thought it would take that long to arrange but in reality they were able to get you an appointment sooner? :hugs:

Che is too cute by the way :cloud9:
Maria, yep, Daisy does that too, it's wind. Are you having any success with the infacol? I've started giving her the full dose instead of just half and it's made a massive difference!

this is baby Jared havent uploaded here b4 so dunno if it worked or not lol :baby:

Janny: Jared is very cute!

Katie: I have been giving the full dose as well and did see a difference.

Thanks ladies for replying about the head shake being wind. So when he does this I should take the teat out and burp him? Is that what you all do?

Janny he's fab! So cute :cloud9:
Maria- yeah, that's what I do anyway! :)

janny -jared is so cute!

bexxie - glad that things are better now sleepwise!

katie - the sooner daisy is seen by the specialist the better, tho i can see how you are worried about it :hugs:

janney and CG what gorgeous little boys!

modo yep that sounds like wind and when harrison does that i stop feeding and burp him the cont feeding after a burp.

katie gl tomorrow! harrison is at the hospital aswel with his testicle not dropping.

Thanks for the replies girls!

Good luck at the hospital Katie and Jolou :hugs:

right i can do a proper post now!

been out today and bought a cold water steriliser! can fit 4 bottles in and all its little gadgets so thats good!

harrison has been so good the last few days, he has basically slept for 2 or 3 hour naps during the day and waking for an hour to be fed then back asleep! i was dreading last night, thinking "oh no he has slept all day that means awake all night" but no! he slept from 11:30-7:15am!!! so thats 2 nights running! he has been trying to roll over today too (his nappy changes its getting to be a bit difficult lol). we have also found his ticklish spot right under his ear, he gives the cutest smile!

I fed Bobby his bottle and tried to burp him everytime he did his head shake thing. He only drank half his bottle and would not have anymore. I then changed his diaper and I swear that I have never heard him cried so loud :(. It was pretty bad. I think this shift tonight is going to really be hard
