Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

I just wrote a HUGE post and then the internet went down and I lost it all :( I also can't remember what I wrotw but I know there was a lot :haha:

Emera well done re the childminding! It really sounds like the way to go! Steve is also very proud of Oliver been 'a proper little boy' :haha: Oliver loves riding on his shoulders too, he looks so grown up doing proper toddler type stuff like that!

Amy how's Emily? I hope she's okay!

I am sorry, I had SO much more typed out but I can't remember any of it, and I'm on my phone so typing is a pain :haha:

sarah - I hate it when that happens! Emily is ok thanks, I was so angry that horrid little boy made up a facebook profile in her name. I dont allow her to use facebook, I think she's too young and he'd put all her contact details on it :growlmad: I was able to get on it and delete the profile. I was going to talk to her teacher about it but she'd had the afternoon off :dohh: :haha: I carry Alex on my shoulders :haha: they are all getting so grown up arent they! My friend at work is due her 2nd baby on 17th May which was my due date with ALex last year, I cant believe what an amazing year we've all had and what fantastic little bubba's we've got :cloud9:

Amy I know, its been a perfect year :) Our little babies are growing up but they are so amazing, and their little personalities are really coming through. We're all very lucky mummies :)

You should def speak to the teacher, that is SO out of order. And like Maybe said, its fraud.

Talking about fraud :haha: before Facebook was around and everyone went on Friends Reunited, logged their details and then never logged in again :haha: someone made an account pretending to be one of the guys I went to school with, saying he was gay, and a fireman. Well I was more suprised at the Fireman part  Everyone just presumed it was genuine, so when everyone started using Facebook and this guy was there, everyone thought he was a gay fireman  I know its wrong, but it was pretty funny :haha:

Oh and Amy is that your garden on facebook? If so then I am beyond jealous - its huge! How gorgeous!!!

I just text Steve and realised when I send it that I'd put : haha : :dohh: I think I need help

sarah - thats the kind of thing I do  I keep wanting to put :hugs: in emails :haha: yes thats our garden, its a tip at the moment because kerry doesnt do gardening and I havent done anything for a year. I love the garden though, it was one of the reasons we bought the house. I was thinking today I'll be soooo sad if we have to sell. :haha: that tickled me about your gay fireman friend, poor lad :haha:

ugh i dont know whats wrong with owen :( he keeps waking crying all distressed. maybe teething, maybe his ear as he was pulling on it. bless erin she's gone to sleep and for now stayed asleep. owen's had 8 wakings since 7.30pm after a day with 1 20min and 1 10min nap  is it worth shutting my eyes i ask myself :dohh:

sarah - i keep almost writing : haha: etc in fb and email :haha:

amy - for lovely lazy days :D

what a horrid night :dohh: at least 6 more wakings after we went to bed at 1 and then he woke at 6am and didnt want to sleep again. he woke erin so we lay in bed for a bit and then went to the living room. danny came in late from work as they'd gone for a drink after the shift finished (a couple of pints at 7am  but i guess it was like a drink at the end of a work day for them!) now he's in bed. he told me to wake him at 1pm as he doesnt want to sleep all day  will believe it when i see it  and he said he'd go to the supermarket to get some food as we're running thin on things and i am grounded with erin and the chickenpox :dohh: she has more spots today but still not too bad. have a lovely saturday. i think i shall try and make the most of it and tidy up a bit in here if owen will let me as he's really clingy and is still off his food this morning. dylan is with my mum so at least she'll take him out and about so he wont have to be cooped up in here.

maybe - we had the same night here, morning was 5.45am for alex

oh amy i bet owen and alwx would get on like a house on fire

i feel sick after eating about 20 roses chocs and a packet of mini oreos  dan has gone shopping with his parents and they took owen. dylan is out with my mum and erin and i are eating rubbish and watching hercules! :haha::munch:

Evening!

Sorry you both had rubbish nights Maybe and Amy :hugs: Fingers crossed tonight is better for you both!

Maybe I hope Erin is feeling a little better :hugs: Are the other two still spot free? Loads of kids seem to have chickenpox at the moment!!

Steve is still cracking on well with the garden, and got some of the edge down today. There is SO much prep work! But so far so good, I'm sure it'll look fine and most importantly it will be SO much better for Oliver. Steve is going to build him a little garage for his ride on cars :haha:

We didn't do much today, Steve worked on the garden. Mum and Dad came up which was nice, Oliver fell asleep on Mum again :haha: She is SO good at getting him to nap! I have no idea how she does it, even for me I tend to have to feed him to sleep and he will get really sleepy sat on Steve's knee but will cry for me rather than fall asleep. Mum just gets him to nap! I got quite a bit done though so that was great :)

It was much colder here today, and less sunny! I hope the sun comes back tomorrow!

I hope everyone is having a lovely weekend! :hugs:

maybe - :haha: they would get on! little tinkers. I've felt like a zombie all day!! the good news is Alex went to sleep at 7.45 and hasnt woken yet  its nice to be able to just sit and mooch about rather than go upstairs every half hour! I bet it all changes when I go up to bed! how is Erin? any sign of spots on Owen? Hope you have a better night tonight :hugs:

sarah - its been colder and drab here too :cold: sounds like your garden is coming on really well! Have you taken before pictures? I always have to feed Alex to sleep, the only other person who can get him to sleep easily is one of the nursery workers, in fact she's the owner and used to childmind Emily and Holly. She says she has a real soft spot for Alex, he's so happy there now, it makes such a difference to be able to feel he is safe and well cared for. Oh I cant wait to get alex a little ride on car :cloud9:

Well thanks to the weather deciding to be awful this afternoon we havent done much! I played on the Wii with the girls, we were doing the Michael Jackson experience, Emily thrashes me on it :haha:

I'm starting to panic a bit about jobs because I only have 6 weeks left at Pfizer  I really hope something works out soon [-o<

:hugs: to you all :hugs:

Hello everyone

Sorry to hear Erin has the pox. Hope that they disappear quickly.

H&F Hope you are ok, can't believe your H said such awful things :hugs:

Sarah  at the text to Steve and at the friends reunited fraud. Yay for Oliver having a good nap in his cot.

Amy glad you are enjoying the sunshine.

Emera Sorry you got a BFN. Hopefully you will get your BFP soon. Hopefully there will be some nicer Mums and babies at the group next time. I hate that when other kids come and take the toy your LO is playing with. I know they are only kids but seeing my LO looking so sad when the toy he was playing with has been snatched makes me want to

As for us my lazy baby (who just sat/rolled/reversed) has been stolen and replaced with a very different one! In the past week he has:
- learnt how to go from lying down to sitting up.
- started to crawl and is already really quick.
- started to pull himself up on the furniture.
- started wanting to stand holding on to something, and has a tantrum when you try to get him to sit down or when he falls down.
- learnt how to kneel.
- started to walk when holding our hand.
He has is also babbling more than ever and has some new sounds, including a high pitched scream!

We also started baby signing and enjoyed our first session though not seen him do any yet.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

poor erin was not comfortable last night :nope: and though owen has no sign of spots he was not well either. danny had the night off but decided to get drunk and then was horrid to me when i didnt want to :sex: at 2am when i went to bed finally :grr: then he proceeded to throw two chairs over in the kitchen and ripped off the safety gate from the kitchen :nope: then i smelt burning  so i got out of bed and went to the kitchen (where i found the chairs and gate amongst other things thrown around) and found he'd put on the oven where he'd left the leftovers of his dinner and it was burning :saywhat: about an hour ago he woke up moaning and groaning asking me to help him as his head hurt so much!!! i lay there contemplating what to do :muaha: i felt like leaving him to suffer after how horrid he was to me and the mess in the kitchen he's left me with. i got up got him nurofen water and a cold flannel and he was like 'help me' and i said 'what do you want me to do? you've drunk too much' and he lay there moaning and groaning!!! is it really bad that part of me was thinking 'good riddance'? he's gone to bed and i'm with the kids. erin is super itchy :( think it's not going to be a good day :( we were supposed to be going for lunch with my family to celebrate my dad's bday but of course we cant with erin. my parents said they'd take dylan so it'll be me erin owen and my drunk/hungover husband here today and a fat lot of good he's going to be :growlmad: i hate when he drinks as he turns into a horrid person :nope:

Maybe when he gets up you need to tell him how he could have burnt down the flat and killed you all! What an idiot! And throwing chairs and ripping safety gates off the wall because he didn't get his own way? Seriously? He should be so ashamed - what kind of a man does that?!?!
I think you should just spend the day doing nice things with Erin and Owen, maybe baking if she feels up to it, watch a movie etc etc. Leave Danny in his hungover state to sleep it off. When you think he's slept enough get the drill out and make as much noise as you can putting the gate back up :haha:

thankfully i managed to get it slotted back in  it's just so disappointing as we were getting on really well and then he goes and ruins it all  why? it's not like i am depriving him of :sex: either, we only dtd on thursday  i was really looking forward to him having a night off and then he just sits and drinks :hissy: and to top if off i get it in the neck! so depressing :sad2:

Maybe I don't often say this but do you have to stay with him? He sounds really, really awful. :( :hugs:

insomnimama things have been sooooooo much better since he got his new job, we havent fought and we have been closer than we have been in ages. even when he has been drinking he hasnt gotten like this. i dont know what the trigger has been. i'm reall disillusioned as i thought we'd worked past our issues and were much more united as a couple than we have been in years  i was the one who mentioned going to bed for a bit of :sex: at 10pm but erin and owen were not well and i was settling them all evening until i eventually fell asleep with erin on top of me and owen fell asleep on me and i put him in his buggy beside erin and i on the sofa. i know he was disappointed he was getting no action but surely he could appreciate the kids were not well and i was exhausted by the time they were settled in bed at 2am  i'm never going to mention the possibility of :sex: again

oh i have let erin play football outside the bedroom door :haha: revenge is sweet, though he sleeps so soundly i bet that it won't bother him!
