Hey ladies -

Sarah hope you have a brillaint day tomorrow and hope your gorgeous little boy enjoys his special birthday.

Maybe - I was thinking that the other day this time last year I was so fed up!

Well I had a good day - took my friend to get her bridesmaid dress as my sister is being a pain (long story!) We are hoping they will be able to get the dress in time but will wait for a call in the week. Other than that I am starting to get the house sorted ready for Amy's birthday next weekend and trying to make some space for new toys!

Emera was it you who was thinking of making flashcards? Oliver got given some lovely ones yesterday as a birthday present. They are 'abc and first words picture cards' and they come from Sainsbury's. They have photgraphs on them and are lovely.

As for us Oliver loves his Smart Trike that we got him for his birthday a little too much I think as he cries everytime I take him off it and desperately tries to get back to it again. It's taken him a few days to realise that it is being stored in the outhouse, so today he was standing at the window crying and trying to get the door open to get at it. Bless him, he was making little crying puppy noises as I opened the door to put him on it, and he was leaning realy far forward so he could touch it. Bless him.

maybe - congratulations to your friends! yey for Owen's wheelybug arriving the cockroach trauma sounds horrible, poor you!!
mork - yey for T hitting her milestone and then some boo to work only letting you do 18.5 hrs. What hours were you hoping to do?
frufru - poor you with Joni's night wakings you must be so shattered! 14oz!! I hope things improve great news she is so settled at nursery though
emera - to Roh pushing the balls into your mouth ALex does things like that. Wow - a molar!!! Alex still has the same six teeth :hehe:

well I am redundant as from Tuesday and finding it really emotional. saying goodbye to people is horrible :'(
as for happier things, alex's first word that he uses properly is "Tree" - he points at the tree's and says teee teee - very cute. He's also taken his first steps he toddled forward to me for a cuddle on Monday - i nearly cried he did it again the next day but then no more since

amy - it must be super stressful! is kerry redundant from that date too? on a happier note for alex's toddling! owen is nowhere near that! he's too good at crawling at lightning speed and can't be bothered with walking erin and dylan never really crawled so they walked at 12months 3 days and 13 months respectively. MIL and danny have been saying for ages that owen was going to beat erin at walking and i always said i didnt think so as his balance is awful! looks like mother knows best

muddles - bless oliver and the smarttrike. i've been wondering whether to get the little tikes one for owen. we had a smarttrike for erin but i think we got a duff one as when we went to change it to the mode where she could pedal it wouldnt work danny says we shouldn't and that we wont get much use out if it. he says we didnt really use it with the other 2 but i beg to differ, he was just never there when i used it but of course he doesn't agree

well i dont know what we're going to do today. i may take the kids to the park. danny is working 2-10pm and i was hoping he may want to do something with us but he's in bed so i shall carry on as i normally do on my own!!!

Well we have walked 5 miles today and not I am attempting to rearrange furniture so our house is more Amy friendly! Its a bit of a nightmare as the house isnt very big but I need some more space for her to play! Hope your all ok. x x x
