:witch: just arrived :happydance: i can breathe a sigh of releif! i've been going to the loo so often these last few days i was really starting to worry!!!

Nope no more steps yet

We've had a lovely afternoon with my parents, just got home and had tea and now Oliver is off for bath and bed :)

I hope everyone else had a good day! X

Hey all sorry for being MIA.

We are super busy trying to prepare for Amy's birthday on Sunday. Also I am trying to book our honeymoon - I have found a beautiful lodge in Scotland for a week, its expensive but I think it will be worth it as its in the middle of no where and has a hot tub! I really hope they still have availability when I ring tomorrow!

Hope your all ok. x x x x x

sarah - I hope you managed to source the fabric OK! Yey for Oliver taking his first steps :happydance: he'll do it when you dont expect it now :cloud9: thats what Alex does.

emera - boo to PCOS :hugs: I am sure they will do something to help you though. Posh spice has it doesnt she and she's pregnant now :winkwink:

H&F - the lodge in scotland sounds lovely :hugs:

mork - i think you are right!! dirty rotten water - maybe I should only drink bottled now :haha: sorry you've had such crummy nights :hugs:

maybe - I was feeling so worried for you reading through - phewwwwwww for the witch!!! how are you feeling now? is your throat still bad? Danny should definately give you a break. I'm so sorry to hear the sleep training isnt having the right effect :hugs:

as for me, sorry for going AWOL! what a week. I had my official redundancy meeting on Tuesday. I was feeling wobbly all day but my manager hugging me with tears in her eyes really got to me. I started a return to practice course on wednesday - its based in Essex which is a 1 1/2 hr drive for me  it was such a long day. I'm really worried though becasue i need to do 150hrs on a childrens ward and for that I need a CRB check. I've applied and its going through but it might take another 4 weeks which is too late and i'll fail the course (which cost me £1500 ) so that is really stressful. I also had an interview for a nursing job in Dartford (which is an hours drive from me) on thursday. it was really intense, I had to sit a test, do a management scenario for a sick child and do a presentation and then get formally interviewed. they said they've got loads of applicants so i dont hold out much hope :nope: there were things I really couldnt remember :dohh:
Today Alex had his 1 yr check, after being a little dot when I had milk supply issues he is now on the 75th centile  which shows how much he loves his food :haha: we had lunch out with some friends from Pfizer who are relocating. it feelsvery final and sad. Kerry still doesnt know what will happen to him which is so stressful.
I'm sooo tired from all the travelling, stress and early starts  Alex sleeps ok but can I be an honourary memeber of your totally knackered club mork and maybe:haha:
Hope everyone else is ok :flower: xxx

HandF try the lodges at Cameron House if the ones you are looking for aren't available, they are mainly owned but I'm sure some are rented out. its on the shores of Loch Lomond and absolutely stunning, we stayed in the hotel but I have only heard good things about the lodges :)

Amy oh poor you!!! It sounds super stressful :( I wish I could take a bit of it away from you or do something to help :hugs:  Can you chase the CRB people and hurry them along? I really wish I could help. I am sending the good luck faries down your way next time I see them :haha:

Well I have just placed my first full online food shop  I have been thinking about it for a while, and Ocado have an offer on their delivery pass at the moment so I have taken the plunge and signed up. My first shop comes on Sunday morning. Fingers crossed its good!!!

I spoke to my mum earlier about take that and she understood completely what I said and said she had thought the same. The big thing was knowing we were so far away. The traffic is likely to be bad coming home, and if Oliver was upset, urgh it would just be horrid. If I could be home quickly it would be different but I think we'd be looking at at least three hours with traffic. So I'm going to sell my ticket and buy myself something nice. Well I had a little splurge in Joules earlier so I think that might be part of it :haha:

Night night all, sweet dream for you all - and fingers crossed for the babies too!

Xx

Evening!

I hope you are all enjoying Eurovision! :haha:

Not much to report here, just a quiet day as Steve has been at work and the weather has looked like rain all day so Oliver and I stayed home and had a nice day :) We did some 'drawing' with all Olivers new Crayola Beginnings stuff, wow what a mess he made! And really he just wanted to put everything in his mouth, so I might leave it a month or two before we get artistic again!! He also took a biro to my pale grey leather sofa  Luckily I have a special cleanig kit with a biro remover so thank goodness I got it out okay. Oliver had a proper tantrum when I took the pen of him though, little monster :haha:

L. just learned how to crawl properly a couple days ago- before she had been dragging herself around on her belly for months. She's slower than the boys in a lot of areas (was never particularly enthusiastic about food till 10 mos, for example) but boy is she feisty!

Am still jobless, and actually should be working on an application right now. Procrastinating--- oops! Hope you are all well and great to hear about your LOs!

insomnimama - hope you find something soon :hugs:

amy - it's great alex was found to be doing so well at his check

sarah - artwork is messy isn't it :haha: owen throws a right strop when anyone takes something he has off him too!!!

Happy Birthday Amy!!! Have a great day!!!

Insomnimama I hope you find a great job soon :hugs: :hugs:

Well my first Ocado shop just arrived and I just wish I'd started using them sooner :haha: Going to the supermarket always takes sooooo long, I much prefer this way :haha:

What has everyone got planned for today? I'm not sure what we're doing, Oliver and I were going to go out but its just started raining so I think we might have to change our plans!

Hey all :)
Well Sarah we have been to a birthday party this afternoon, and now T is fast asleep!! (I am munching biscuits and catching up on here!!!) What were you going to do today if it hadnt been raining?
xx

Mork the party sounds good!!

If it had been a nice day Oliver and I would have taken a drive to the car boot sae this morning I think, and then maybe gone for a walk or at least played outside with his new car. As it is it has rained all day so we've been in all day again. I will have to think of somewhere to go tomorrow - I can feel cabin fever setting in!!!

Boo for the rain :( sounds like you would have had a lovely day had it been dry. Fingers crossed for a good day tomorrow! X

i am so annoyed that it's due to rain on owen's bday so no beach party :hissy: so i am having 18kids (plus adults) in my teeny flat  the words 'sardines' and 'can' come to mind :dohh: i have to go shopping for plates and the food tomorrow and tidy up as it is a tip

Sarah - Car boot would have been fun, shame about the weather :( ~The rain held off here, but it was grey and windy, and felt cold outside, so we stayed in today too. Quite nice to have a day in though ;) We've been busy recently.

Well, we had a irthday party to go to yesterday, which was lovely! Roh bit the birthday girl on the face though, quite hard :argh: i felt so bad :( I really don't know what to do about his biting  Poor thing had red teeth marks on her face all day, i was so embarrassed  Luckily my friend is really easy going, and i don't think her little girl was hurt to badly, as she only cried for a few seconds. Roh cried too and tried to give her a cuddle. Cute, but too little too late! :haha: Anyway, apart from the biting it was a lovely party :) I made her a little dress, as i'm a bit skint, so i used some old ribbon and fabric to make it :) I wanted to post some piccies, as i'm quite proud of myself, but i can't find the cable for my phone :dohh:

Spent Roh's nap today "babyproofing" the kitchen. I won't leave him in there on his own, but its good enough for now

Roh is such a monkey, when i put him to bed, i always give him his dummy, and say "shush, its time to sleep now", and if he's still hyper, i put his dummy back in and say "shush, sleep". Anyway, i'd given him his dummy, and we were having a cuddle, and then i sneezed. He gave me a very serious look, pulled his dummy out, stuck it in my mouth and said "shhh sleee"  Slightly disturbing that my one year old is now trying to put me to bed! :haha:
