Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

Hope everyone is well and has had/is having a good weekend! :hugs:

H&F - That sick bug is no fun, my mum had it for a week until she felt normal again! :( Hope you and Amy both feel well again soon :hugs:

Maybe - Hope everything is ok with you :hugs:

Amy - Yeah work are definately being *bleeps*! My mum thinks the way they are treating me could be a case of constructive dismissal and thinks i should write everything down and make sure i don't do or say anything to make them think i accept the way they are treating me. I just think sod it, i've got 3 weeks to go, i'll just get on with it until then, and then go on leave without thinking about if for a year

Muddles - Hope you had a lovely birthday :)

Sarah - Hope you've had a relaxing weekend after your holiday

I'm sooooo tired at the moment, i have been feeling fine the last month or so, but suddenly i feel exhausted again. It doesn't help that bumpy keeps waking me up in the night by getting into really uncomfortable positions, and kicking loads. Its very reassuring, but it stops me getting a good night's sleep :dohh: I also think all the emotional stress of the last week from work has just drained me, and whilst i think i'm ok, my head is way too full of stuff. I definately need to write a big long list and get it all out. I'm just really busy up to Christmas, and unfortunately when i get free time all i want to do with it is sleep  Ah well, i can rest after Christmas i guess! Even the thought of getting the tree up is stressing me out, to be honest, i can't face the washing up even so what chance have i got? :dohh: Better just pull myself together!!!! :haha:

Muddles: congrats :hugs: and happy birthday!

Wow 3 weeks to go Emera that's fab :happydance: I felt much like you did coming up to my maternity leave. Although I have filed against them for constructive dismissal since.

H&f: hope you and Amy feel better soon :hugs:

I am staying in my Moms flat while work is being done onour house. We were supposed to come back on Monday but the builders are a bit behind and we will have to stay till Tuesday instead.

Bobby has been taking it a lot better than we thought he would. He has slept well enough in te travel cot and wakes up at 5.45am but hats probably teething as well.

Ooh forgot, officially 3rd tri today! My bump looks exactly the same as last time, just i weigh a bit more overall.

First one is this time a week ago, and second one is the same gestation with Roh:

For some reason i don't feel as big this time, not sure why, i swear she's more kicky though! Maybe i just forgot what its like

Modo - Bet it will be nice to be home! Glad Bobby is putting up with it ok though. These last few teeth are awful eh? :hugs: How are you feeling now? Less sick yet? x

lovely bump emera :) sod the washing up etc just do the essential and rest up!

modo - hope the builders are done soon!

spent the whole day washing and clearing up and bagging up old toys to give away. i just dont have enough space. our flat is far too small :dohh: i also put the tree up and owen has almost toppled it over already! not good. maybe i should've not put my harrods ornaments up :haha:

muddles - Happy birthday and massive congrats again :happydance:

H&F - get well soon xx

emera - I think you are wise, you dont need anymore stress right now and 3 weeks isnt long x you look fab! I think your bump is bigger this time though ;)

modo - hope the work all gets done ok :hugs:

maybe - haha, sounds just like my house :dohh::haha:

so tired, K was out all night. cant believe its monday tomorrow :( xx

Amy i think its just my bum thats bigger, maybe the bump too, but mostly bum!

amy - cant believe its monday either :dohh:

owen up since 6am even though he went to bed at 10.30pm :dohh: kids are busy finding door 5 on their advent calendars whilst i have a :coffee:

Thanks girls

Emera our bump is fab  I not that nauseous anymore. This pregnancy has been so far MUCH easier than Bobby's was. Thanks for asking :hugs:

Maybe: I am waiting for the work to be finished before putting up our tree. Pretty nervous that Bobby will launch himself at it like Owen did. Can totally see him doing that :haha:

Yay going home tomorrow morning!!!! Can't wait :D the cats have been driving us crazy meowing up a storm the whole night because they want to go home. The sleep the whole day and store up their energy then at night it's Go Time :dohh:

I totally get why second Tri is called the honeymoon trimester as it has been great. Not ill anymore and not uncomfortable yet. With Bobby I was throwing up all the way till third Tri pretty much.

modo it's normal to forget when you're running after a toddler. it happened to me! and 3rd baby you just remember when you're in bed and he/she kicks you

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been on for a proper catch up - I will try to get on later and reply to everyone :)

Xx

Hi All -

Emera your bump looks fab!

Modo - enjoy 2nd tri! I met up with a friend yesterday who is due next week and she is huge now although still running round after her two kids without much trouble! She says she forgets she is pregnant!

Maybe - Amy is up at 6 ish every morning no matter what time she goes to bed! very frustrating! I am putting up our christmas tree on Saturday ... how long till Amy pulls it over!

Sarah - welcome back - hope you had a lovely break.

Amy - how are you and your family? Hope your all ok.

Well we are feeling much better - saw dad today as he restarts chemo on Friday so he wont be feeling up to seeing Amy after that! We have also found a brilliant toddler group near us ... a couple we went to I really didnt enjoy but this one is so lovely and Amy has made a new friend who she chats about all the time!

Hope everyone is ok x x x

hehe emera i would never suggest your derriere looked large!! :) honestly your bumP looks bigger :haha: hope you've had a stress free day :flower:

sarah - your fb pics are gorgeous, looks like such a lovely getaway :hugs:

maybe - :hugs: I feel very lucky if I can find time for a cuppa in the morning!

modo - I'm so glad you're enjoying this pregnancy so much :cloud9:

H&F - glad you are both better :hugs: fingers crossed your Dad's chemo goes ok :flower:

had a manic day at work today, the time flew! I love being back at work - I've lost 9 lbs of picking at home weight :happydance:

Evening all, i'm shattered from work, feels like i've pulled a muscle low down in my tummy, right where i'm holding the bump up, got home and crawled into bed, i'm not leaving till morning! I suddenly feel huge  Going to sleep now, maybe,if i can someone just woke up and started trying to push my hip bones apart! :haha: :dohh:

Will have to reply to you lovely ladies tomorrow, but :hugs: all round for now xxx

Helloooo!!!!!!

I've missed you all! I've been reading and running a whole lot but I'm back now :haha: I apologice in advance to anyone I miss out in my replies, I'm doing it from memory  :haha:

Amy I'm glad you're loving your new job! It was a really lovely getaway, thank you :hugs:

Emera GORGEOUS bump!! Really lovely :hugs: I'm so sorry your work are been so awful, I hope your shifts go well between now and your mat leave starting :hugs: When I was having issues at work I called Tommys and they were extremely helpful, HSBC use them as advisors so thats why I called them but anyone can ring for advice, they really were very good  I hope you're feeling better after a good sleep :hugs:

Modo its great to hear how well you are feeling! I loved second tri :) What are you having done at home? I hope its finished soon and you can all move back :hugs:

Muddles WOW - congratulations!!!!! :happydance: How wonderful for you! :hugs:

Maybe reading your posts makes me tired, I don't know how you do it! How's your cleaner working out?

H&F Hope your well!

Well we had the most wonderful holiday, it was just perfect :cloud9: Oliver loved every minute and it was just so relaxing. I think Steve and I both really relaxed and destressed, it was just wonderful. As soon as Steve can book holiday from work we're going to book in for the same time next year. It just couldn't have been more lovely :)

Since we got back I've been catching up on my 'work' and trying to get ready for Christmas! The tree is up, Oliver is pretty good with it but its a slim pop-up thing, very funky :haha: Its very toddler friendly though, Oliver would have destroyed our normal tree :haha: We also bought him a little 3' tree with battery powered lights for him to do what he wants with - he has so far decorated it with tinsel, put baubles on it and then taken them off again, and stuck stickers all over it :haha:

How are you all getting on with your Christmas shopping? I only have a few more things to get, and I'm going to get them online. I hate hate hate shopping when its busy! I'm staying in on weekends from now until February

Oh, and my flippin car has broken!! Its been great all year and then yesterday we went out and it started making a wierd noise on the way home. I told my Dad and its the VCU or something, its a common fault on Freelanders. Typically on the day it broke we got snow forcast!!!! :hissy: I hate the law of sod! :haha: Its booked in at the garage for Wednesday but I'm going to call a land rover specialist tomorrow. We can get the parts for three hundred quid but from Land Rover they are almost a grand  Its booked in at our normal garage but I'm not sure they will do it right as its a 4x4 thing and the chap didnt seem to know what we were taking about, plus they might not know the best / cheapest place to get the parts. So I'm thinking it might be better off going to a Land Rover specialist (but not the dealer - eek - expensive!!). If they all quote silly prices we will buy the parts and Steve and my Dad will have to fit them, its not a huge job but its not great weather to be working on cars :dohh: So I have no car at the moment, which is annoying but not the end of the world.

Well I'd better get off to bed, love to you all!

xx

sarah - glad you had a great time on your hols :) cars are sooooooo expensive when they break! Oliver sounds so cute decorating his own Christmas tree!!

h&f - hope your dad's chemo goes well :hugs:

emera - you should take sick leave from work, don't exert yourself so much!

well another bad night with 4 wakings and then Dylan came to our bed at 5.30am and Owen woke and I ended up with the 4 of us in bed (Erin was sleeping thank god!) and then we were up for the day at 6.45am, Erin woke then too :dohh: I'm so tired and have a full day at work and then 2 kids parties. My friend is going to keep an eye on D at one party whilst I take E to the other and my mum looks after O!
