Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

Modo - Really hope you feel all back to normal soon! :hugs: Glad you are getting properly looked after though

Hope everyone else is doing well! :hugs:

I am still ill, i've just had a really bad week, i've been so hormonal and very stressed, and ill through the whole thing. I haven't had a good sleep for 3 days as i'm coughing constantly and its keeping me awake. My head hurts and all my muscles are pulled form coughing so much. Rubbish! I just want to feel better, and then i'll be able to face everything again! Sorry to moan! :hugs:

Emera and Modo :hugs: :hugs: :hugs: I hope you are both feeling much better very very soon :hugs: :hugs:

I hope everyone else is well!

My new chair arrived and its gorgeous, even nicer than I hoped. Since it arrived though its mainly had the cat sitting on it, or Oliver, or both :haha: Oliver's latest thing is that he likes to sit with the cat on his knee, and bless her Kitty just sits there with him :haha:

We made gingerbread stars today while we waited for the chair, and I got a bit of housework done. Not that you can tell :haha:

hey all, hope ya ok? do you have christmas sorted yet?
im going tonight to get santa shopping hahaha

H&F - a friend of ours had 3 consecutive MCs after her first and in the end it was a blood disorder and she just needed blood thinning tablets.

Hey amy, we miss you too :) man flu is on its way out the door!!! Poor t has been poorly with a nasty virus though :( hoping she is on the mend. Hope your lo's are all ok. Are you off over Christmas? Xx

Miss you too Amy, in fact miss everyone, we are clearly all busy mammas!!

I'm FINALLY starting to feel a teeny bit better after 2 weeks of feeling terrible!

I'm still just taking it really easy though i've got no energy at all. Also have a foot or something digging into my ribs! This baby has long legs i think!

Sorry I am being rubbish again ... I am poorly again and so is Amy both cant be too far from the loo. I was thinking it was morning sickness strating but even worse but think its a combination of the two which makes me relax a little - I dont know how I will cope if I feel the same as I did with Amy.

Hope everyone is ok. x x x

yes emera i agree we are all busy mamas! It's the end of term on wednesday and we're off til 9th jan so hopefully i'll get a chance to get on here more often, especially next week when dan is on nights!

amy - i know the feeling, busy, busy, busy! hope you have some time off over christmas!

h&f - have you seen the dr yet?

Yay for feeling better Emera!
Boo to the bug h&f :(
Yay to time off Maybe!!!
Sarahwoo - do we get a pic of the new chair?!
xx

Maybe - yes been to doctor and had an early scan ... not very much there yet but as I was only 5 weeks I wouldnt expect much. Another scan is booked for two weeks time but they said everything is looking good.

H and F I'm glad they are doing lots of scans etc - are they monitoring your HcG levels? Our EPU won't do any scans until six weeks, its strange how everywhere is so different isn't it?

Mork I will get you a pic of the chair  Its so lovely, I tried to find a cushion for it today but nothing is lovely enough :haha:

Amy hellooooo! How's your new job? We miss you too!!

Emera YAY for feeling a bit better! Bless you what ever you've had sounds awful!! Oliver was a real foot-in-ribs baby, ouch!!

I started wrapping pressies tonight, I think I've got about half done so not bad. I really need to get them all wrapped and then sort out Olivers room because its such a tip. Its not like he sleeps in it but well, it looks like toys r us after an elephant ran around :haha: I've shocked myself by been quite organised for Christmas this year - I've started thinking I must have missed something :haha: The pressies are all bought - I think - I just have a few to collect from the sorting office and a picture we are having framed to collect on Christmas eve. We're even organised with what we're doing which is a flippin miracle where Steve is involved :haha: Still a few things to do but all in all I'm doing well and not feeling too stressed. I'm only doing maybe an hour or so's work each day at the moment though so it makes a huge difference, its lovely :)

I'm still waiting to get my car back, two parts were been replaced today but there might be a third that needs doing too - which is even more expensive  I'm trying not to think about it because it just makes me feel  when I think how much its going to end up costing. Steve is been fine about it but still, its crappy to get such a huge bill. But that's life I guess - and we do need a 4x4, and once this is done it should be lovely again, so all I can say is when I get it back and it works it better flippin well snow :haha:

H&F glad everything looks good so far.

Modo Hope you are doing ok now, sorry to hear you have been in hospital.

Emera Yay that you are starting to feel better.

Sarah I think we definitely need to see the chair. You are probably one of the few people wishing for snow once you get your car back that is

Spent ages this morning wrapping loads of presents, went to make myself a cup of tea, and when i got back, Roh had unwrapped them all again and was sitting in the debris looking really proud with an "i fixed it all for you Mummy" look on his face :dohh:

Emera awwww bless him! Haha! Are you feeling better?

I hope everyone who was ill is on the mend!

Its been very quiet in here!

My car still isn't fixed :hissy: There is another problem now (they are all connected - one thing goes and it causes the other to break too). I'm getting a bit fed up of the garage though - they do the same thing of presuming I know absolutely nothing and trying to fob me off. When actually I've been reading up / speaking ti my dad etc and I do know what I'm talking about! They keep saying it needs a new transmisson box (at least five hundred quid reconditioned) when I know its just the bearing (seventy five quid). I asked for a price today for the work so far and they didn't even know. So I'm going to call in the morning and see if they a) have a price for the transmission yet and b) tell them to prepare the bill and I'm going to bring it home. We should be able to get someone to fit the bearing kit. And I'm fed up of been fobbed off!!!! So no snow yet thankyou very much :haha:

I'm doing well with my Christmas prep, still a few pressies to wrap, and Steve decided today that he has three more friends to buy for. He has no idea what to buy them though and obviously everywhere is really busy now :hissy:

Steve has almost finished painting the dresser in the kitchen and it looks lovely :) We bought it when I was expecting Oliver with the intention of painting it so its taken a while :haha:

Oliver had his 18 month check today and was a little star, she was really impressed with all his words and his weight is spot on. It was nice to be told that he's a superstar by someone else :haha: He got a new Bookstart set too so he sat and looked at the books, there was a poster of numbers and he pointed out 2 and said 'two' nd 6 and said 'six' and the health visitor was all shocked that he recognised them :haha: He loves numbers. This morning I videoed him counting because Steve didn't believe me, but if I say one he says two, I say three he says four, I say five he says six. The video is lovely but its on my camera and it uses a wierd file format but if I can figure it out I'll put it on Facebook, its sooooo cute!

Right well I'd better get some sleep, lots to do again tomorrow!

Lots of love to you all xx

Sarah - Oliver sounds so adorable! :cloud9: So cute with the counting! If i say "one" to Roh he says, "too, eee, ooorr" sort of 2, 3, 4 :haha: I don't know that he'd recognise them to look at though. He's really obsessed with food and animals and will sit there saying "Mummy, narna, narna?" if i say no, then its "apple, apple?" then "ognin ognin?" (orange) and so on, he knows quite a few more, and lots of veg too, infact his food vocabulary is really good, he's such a pig! :haha:

Also, yes i feel a bit better, although still have a really bunged up nose. I can't blow it anymore as i'm starting to have shockingly bad nosebleeds. My blood pressure is a bit higher than it wants to be at the moment, and the MW warned me i might get them as a result, they are a bit scary though. I've also had a really bad cough and its resulted in me pulling loads of my muscles round my bump, its sooo sore! All in all i'm not feeling brilliant, but at least the 3 weeks of infection and cold have mostly past. I swear i never felt this bad last time i was pregnant!

I'm sooo glad i only have 2 days left at work before my mat leave (even though they've diddled me out of some of my SMP, a-holes!!! but thats a whole other story) i can't wait to be off work!!!!

Night!

Emera yay for starting mat leave!!! I felt awful towards the end of my 'working' with Oliver, I felt much better once I was on mat leave :haha: The stress of work can't be doing your BP any good. Make sure you get your feet up over Christmas :hugs:

Roh is so clever! Oliver says 'apple', 'pear', and 'nana' (which he says just the same as he says nanan / nana and is grandparent :haha:). He also says juice, tea ans chips :haha: But that's about it for food / drink - I might need to show him more veggies :haha: The whole nanan / nana thing was quite funny the other day, my parents were here and Steve's mum called, so Oliver was sat on the sofa between nana and nanan. He looked at my mum and said 'nanan' and then at Steve's mum and said 'nana' and then just kept on doing that for about ten minutes :haha: I think he'd just figured out that they had similar names. Either that or he actually wanted one of them to go get him a banana

Sarah, soo cute! :) I bet they both thought it was adorable!

Oh Roh finally woke up, he makes the cutest noises in the mornings :D

Have a lovely day everyone! X
