Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

Hello

I'm glad you all had a great Christmas!! Ours was great fun but manic and we saw far too much family lol. Will was spoilt rotten, but he so needed some new toys and loves them all, especially his pushchair, which is very handy!

Congratulations Muddles!!

Wow Emeral not long to go, your bump looks grogeous.

Sarah I'm the same a lot of our decs are down already, I love Christmas and am sorry it's over, but I'm equally glad to get back to normal.

Modo/H&F how are you both feeling?

We had our 20 week scan yesterday and it's looking as though we are team pink, can hardly believe it, I was convinced it was another boy. I have an anterior placenta this time and so don't feel her move very much so it was so nice to see her on the scan, She was all curled up and so they struggled to get a good look at the heart so we were watching for ages.

Well my resolution is to update more regularly. Our New Year will probably be fairly normal, there is no chance I'll still be up. So pizza and the inbetweeners DVD for us saddos.

Have a very Happy New Year xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

HAPPY NEW YEAR !!!!!

LC: Congrats on team pink :happydance: I am doing well! My scan is on 21st so have to wait a bit. I am going for a private scan sooner though so not that long (hopefully of the 9th).

Congrats on your pink bump l-c!
Happy new year everyone xxx (im off to bed soon lol!!)

Thanks girls, can't wait to hear modo!! Happy New Year xx

Awww LC congrats on your pink bump! Lovely to see you!

Well Steve is at work, and Oliver decided to have one of 'those' night and only just went to sleep  So my plans to do the ironing / watch a film / eat too much chocolate / have a cheeky G and T were scuppered. So since I'm tired out I'm off to bed :haha:

Happy New Year to you all, love you all lots xxx

Happy New Year everyone!!

Today i've cleared out the walk in cupboard, cleared a load of stuff from the bedroom, built some Ikea units and rearranged the livingroom, hurrah! Feeling very happy. There is lots left to do, but i think the worst bits are done now. Might even be able to fit a baby in the house by March! :haha:

Yay for another :pink: bump, congratulations L-C :)

Happy New Year All!!!!!

I am ok - morning sickness is still here, well I have only been sick twice and I actually managed half a pizza last night so no where near as bad as with Amy so far!

LC - huge congrats on being on team pink, I have a feeling we might be expecting another girl ... but then I was positive Amy was a boy cant wait to find out!

Emera - how are you feeling? We have so much to do in our house to get ready for the baby in August - Amy has to move rooms and the window in what will be her new room needs doing and it needs decorating but hoping o get it sorted sooner rather than later to get her settled!

Sarah - Amy had one of those nights last night - Dave was convinced she wanted to stay up to watch the fireworks so I let them stay up togehter only to find them both fast asleep on the sofa at 11.30!

Hope everyone is ok - we are having a couple of relaxing days at home am really not looking forward to Dave going back to work and looking after Amy with sickness on my own but fingers crossed it will pass in the next few weeks!

H&F I'm not too bad thanks for asking! Think I'd feel better if I didn't keep getting coughs and colds I've been ill on and off for over 5 weeks now, the coughing is pulling stomach muscles which is owchie! Other than that I feel fine! Roh is getting to be more of a handful, but I'm getting him to help me with housework and getting him used to holding my hand rather than picking him up all the time

We've had a lot done in the house recently, but now dealing with all the "stuff" that seems to be homeless. If it were up to just me I'd chuck it all away!

We are watching frozen planet, which OH bought me for christmas. I have to fast forwards all the bits without polar bears or penguins in though as Roh cries every time they go off screen :dohh:

Congrats on reaching the 12 week mark Mork! And Emera you look lovely :flower:
Our tree is down as of a couple days ago- and I'm ok with it. The little kids were starting to yank at the lights and play ball with the round ornaments and I got tired of fixing it when I knew it was soon to come down.

Happy New Year ladies!

have read all your posts but am knackered. going to shower and go to bed.

h&f - glad all is going well with your pregnancy! :)

emera - lovely bump!

mork - glad all went well at the scan :)

modo - i cant believe you're already half way there!

muddles - are you waitressing occasionally or as a job?

LC - congrats on team :pink: any names yet?

sarah - i am fed up of the decorations now really but it's traditional to keep them up til 6th. i'll take them off on 7th!

insomnimama - how are you?

well we had a lovely new year. Dylan managed to stay up til 1am and saw the fireworks. Erin slept through them and Owen woke with them :dohh: then this morning Erin woke up and had wet the bed :dohh: happy new year! oh well i'm off to bed! speak soon xxx

Oh wow maybe Dylan did well. Poor Erin, what caused that??

We are thinking Ava but not sure need to have a proper look. I've just sat down and would love to stay there but my friend is coming over in a min, she's due on the 17th but was early last time so it could be any day - exciting. I feel enormous already!! Feel good on it though now.

Our bloody washing machine £500 (splashed ou for a reliable one!) one that's 18 months old died last week and so the mountain of washing that's built up over the week is begining to freak me out. The bloke is coming tomorrow - I'm praying he comes early and fixes it so I can get washing on!! I must be mad.

We had a lovely New Years Day, took will to the beach and then played all afternoon.
xxxxx

sorry just a short moan from me - morning sickness please please please go away from now on - I dont want to be poorly anymore, although I do get a feeling it will be another girl. But please can it go away so I can get on with looking after Amy I feel like such a bad mummy at the moment.

Sorry . x x x

H&F - Poor you, it will go away before long, and like you said, its a good sign, as horrible as it is :hugs: I skipped MS with Roh, but had it all day everyday this time, not actual being sick so much as constant nausea, boo, its rubbish. I felt like a terrible Mum  It does get easier though. Roh was a real pain through 1st tri for me, and it was probably because he was bored stiff! All i could manage was to lie on the sofa and talk to him most days  Its terrible now, because i get down on the floor to play with him, and he just says "no mummy up" and starts trying to drag me onto the sofa :dohh: I do hope you feel better soon though honey! :hugs:

L-C - Glad you are feeling well!

I am so glad i am not the only one - poor T has been left to her own devices much of the time because i have been too tired or feeling too sick to play with her - in fact she is now a cbeebies addict as a result :( have felt like such a bad mummy!
I hope you start to feel better soon h&f, have you tried the usual tricks-apples, ginger, mints, seasickness bands etc? xxxx

H&F you poor thing it's rubbish!!! I had nothing last time so it was a real shock to the system, mine did go at 13 weeks and some smells still set me off but I found tiredness made it worse. I was really bad after four shifts, Will had to do the same and mostly watched peppa pig. I slept lots when he did.

Hope you and mork feel better very soon xxxx

We have the oven bloke coming this morning - only been broken 2 years!!!! and even had a new kitchen around it!!!! - and calm, fingers crossed it'll get fixed. Then hotpoint between 2-4 pm, just to make sure we won't make it out arghhhhh. Have thrush again and need to get to the chemist, am walking like john wayne. anyone else suffer while pregnant?? Had nothing last time, in fact had 9 months of bliss on that front. It's so uncomfortable it's keeping me awake.

Have a nice day xxxx

Thank you for all your support ladies - its a relief (not sure if thats the right word) to know I am not the only one. I havent been sick so far today and am trying to eat something small every hour and a half ... which seems to be working a little bit. Amy has so much new stuff for christmas and she keeps saying 'mummy mummy play this?' or just grabs something and comes and gives it to me!

Dave was so brilliant over christmas but I didnt realise he has been avoiding washing up and hasnt done any washing apart from his work stuff - I am hoping he is impressed when he gets in as I have managed to do almost all the washing up, washing and have changed the bed! ha ha its funny how achieving such small things at the moment make me happy!

Emera - how are you finding 3rd tri with Roh? hope your getting on ok. x

L-C - You sound like you have a busy day - hopefully things will be fixed by the end of the day though! I haven't experienced thrush - didnt get it last pregnancy keep reminding myself every pregnancy is different so this time I could get all sorts!

Mork - have tried most things and I am on prescribed anti sickness mediction but it just doesnt seem to work. Hope you are feeling better soon as well. Amy insists I put the TV onto her channel if its on now its a nightmare!

Hope everyone else is ok x x x

Bah keep losing posts, so annoying!

L-C try taking pro-biotics they help with thrush ;)

H&F I'm doing good thanks, bit of a worry day yesterday with a quiet baby and Roh had a raging temperature, why do they both have to worry me at once? Today I have a kicky bump and Roh seems a lot better, I'm knackerred though!

Thanks emera - I've had it on and off for about 15 years and normally manage to keep it under control, before this pregnancy every period set it off. I've seen specialists all over the counrty, nothing seems to work. This time sex seems to do it, much to my DH's disapointment and mine, was the best it had been all last pregnancy!

Have you had to buy much of will you DD be wearing a lot of blue like mine will?? I might get a couple of bits once it's born to confirm it is actually a girl, but I'll rely on the neutral bits I already have until then. Poor thing she will have a blue high chair potty, cups and dishes.

L-C - Well, i have a niece who is 10 months older than Roh, so he's had lots of pink cups, toys, bumbo etc :haha: Most the stuff i've bought for him is quite boyish to compensate, so i have a good mixture of stuff. Happily my bro and SIL have kept all my nieces clothes, so there is a big stash of girl stuff coming. And all the boy stuff we have is heading back over to my nephew, who is nearly 6 months old now  Between me and my brother i think we've got it all covered :haha: Literally the only thing i'll be buying this time is a double stroller and the toddler bed we've bought Roh so we can nick the cot :)

LC - Erin's only been out of nappies at night a few weeks so we're having accidents on and off unfortunately! :( hope your thrush gets sorted out. Erin wore lots of blue babygros and had dylan's highchair etc so we dont have loads of pink stuff. then owen has worn some of erin's pink babygros :haha:

H&F - hope the MS gets better soon. it's crap feeling crap with a LO to look after :hugs:

Mork - you are not a bad mum, MS leaves you floored, not your fault :hugs: hope it starts to ease soon!

emera - kids have a knack of all worrying you at the same time!

the weather has been gorgeous over the break. it's only rained once and that was just a few drops. went to the monsoon sale and spent £100  all on erin though! not one thing for me!!! then went round to MIL for lunch and then went to the playground with the kids and a few friends and their kids. nice day.
