Moms of April/May/June 2010 babies thread! :)

Maybe - sounds like a fantastic day ... I wish we could just go to the beach like that. For one the weather just isnt good enough at the moment and its like a two hour drive to the beach for us so its a bit of a nightmare!

Definately think I am nesting ... Dave isnt happy with it all though as mostly its his stuff that is disappearing to the tip! My mum is coming on Monday and I am really hoping to have Amy's new room looking good and organised for when she comes even though her new bed wont arrive until Tuesday! My hope is by next weekend Amy will be moved into her new room and the nursery will be organised ready for the baby!!! It still doesn't seem real that in a few weeks we are going to have another baby!

Hope everyone is ok x x x

Sorry for my absence ladies, but I do have a good excuse...........

LOL! Sorry, mummy duties called!! Yes I have had my baby - VBAC on gas and air only - a boy!!!!!!!!! :) xx

Oh wow congratulationos mork!!!! Fantastic news, well done you xxxx

Yay Mork, congratulations! So happy for you! Details when you get the chance lady!! :haha: Weeee, exciting! :D

Hey, does that mean that so far we've all had one of each? H+F you are expecting another girl though, right? :)

Congrats Mork! Well done on your vbac!!

Emera I was thinking the same, it is one of each for everyone so far! H & F I hope you're sure if your scan! :haha:

Busy as ever here, I'll try to get on for a catch up later :) x

Congratulations Mork.

Yes everyone who has had a second baby has had one of each. If my scan is to be believed I will also be following that trend! :happydance: Happy either way though, just a nice healthy one will do me fine.

Hope everyone is well, need to read through and catch up with you all.

Huge congratulations Mork! I cant believe everyone has is going to have one of each ... but yes I am breaking trend and we will be having another girl!

Muddles - I can't believe your next and I am not far behind you.

Hope everyone is ok x x x

H&F It's so exciting isn't it being so close now! Are you organised? I think we are pretty much sorted as my nesting kicked in big time at the weekend so little bits i have wanted to do for a while have now been done. I have also started my hospital bag and have all the baby's bits in their and the start of mine but need to go and buy new nightie and pjs and breast pads etc.

Muddles - We are slowly getting ready! I am just starting to organise the nursery as all of Amys stuff has now been moved to her new room ... just waiting for her bed to be delivered on Thursday! Will hopefully do hospital bags etc in the near future but I am also (or was until today) nesting like mad! I have been to the tip more times than I can count getting rid of stuff so hopefully the house is starting to look in a better / less cluttered condition and making room for the baby! How are feeling?

H&F I'm feeling good thanks, though at the fat stage rather than the glowing one now! Sounds like you are nesting like crazy! It's lovely when you have sorted everything and you look round the house and it's all sparkling clean and tidy too. I bet Amy will be so excited to go in her new room, really nice that she is getting lots of attention and something just for her before big changes when baby arrives.

For those of you who want a laugh I stole this from a friend's Fb:

I just saw this!!! Well done Mork :yipee: :yipee: So glad you had a vbac too hon :hugs: :cloud9:

Just had to share, Freyja slept for 10 hours straight last night! She's been waking like 6 times a night for weeks, so yay, she can go more than 2 hours without a feed!! :)

Emera - glad you got a good stretch of sleep!

Am so proud of Erin at her dance yesterday. The girls are split into 3 groups and as they are all aged 3-6 they have an older gril of about 10/11 as their leader. The leaders of 2 of the groups were unable to go so they chose Erin as her group leader and a 6yr old as the leader of the other group. I was so nervous that Erin would make a mistake as she's only 4 and they only had 1 rehearsal on Monday but she really did me proud and remembered everything! :) her dance teacher told me they're thinking of moving her up a group next year to the 6+ group as she's doing so well :) even though she would be the youngest there :) after the show we went for dinner with a few if the other dancers and mums. We had a lovely time but Erin is still asleep now so think will have to wake her for preschool! Lol!

Hi all how are you? It's sooo quiet in here! We went away for the weekend and had a nice time. Dylan and Erin both can now swim a bit :)

Hi! We were away for the weekend too at my mums! It was lovely, we went to a big marine aquarium, Roh fell in love with the sea turtle they have there! :) he's just talking about turtles all the time now! :haha: also watched the town carnival parade where my mum lives which he loved too and was dancing to the drums. :). Only downside to the weekend was we all came down with a cold, so F wasn't feeding well and Roh was up in the night coughing, as was I so none of us got much sleep. OH was working so didn't come away with us, so it was just me dealing with the pair of them over night. Also Roh kept complaining about his ears so took him to the docs today and both ears and his throat are infected. Have antibbiotics now though, so hopefully he'll feel better soon! Hopefully I'll feel better soon too!

F is doing great, she's so chunky! She's so lovely! We had a few weeks of her waking every 40 mins - 1hour over night, but I've now stopped feeding her over night before 4am, so she goes down at 7-8pm and then feeds at 4am and then sleeps again to about 7-8am. I think she's benefiting from it, her feeds are a lot longer and bigger both night and day and she seems happier. I feel a bit wrong pushing her to more routine feeding times, but it was getting out of hand, so hopefully its the right decision!?! We'll see I guess! Can't believe she's 4 months old on wednesday! Goes so fast!

Hope everyone is well!

Maybe, did you do swimming lessons with yours or just a bit here and there?
