Oh thats good that you had a good scan this time. My scans was all out lol. I really do not miss that first trimester. I was saying to my best friend as shes 8 weeks and her sickness has started. For me that was the worst time so far. I really hope o can have a water birth my hospital offer it but not in a separate birthing centre. So just have to hope everything goes well and i get to have it. Im really intrigued by water birth and hypnobirthing too. My back ground for work is spa treatments so i feel like that kind of atmosphere is more where i will be able to stay calm and controlled. So fingers crossed! Xxx

Jam, what do you mean your scans were all out too?? was the baby measuring at different weeks? did it eventually catch up??
I am trying not to worry but my doc's office is making me worry.... Sometimes these medical workers give you more worry than necessary... I just keep thinking, what's meant to be will happen... I have no control over anything at this point...

Mine were, my dating scans at 12 weeks with both were out by a week, both my original due dates got pushed back a week. This is because I have long 5 week cycles naturally so when the midwives estimate the due date from LMP it’s always wrong! I was expecting them to measure smaller than expected.

Bevzii, I was curious about your situation, but your journal link is not working... I see you have 2 kids... are you having any more? or are you done??
AFM, so the doc's office called again today after receiving the 2nd scan results and said everything looks good with a normal heartbeat... I feel a little relieved now....
Just wish I had more energy... feel nauseous all day and so tired that I can't stay past 9pm...
We are going on holidays next week... hope I can have energy to walk around....

Yeah from my LMP my dates are different by about 5/6 days. But i guess they come when they come and its only estimate due dates really to have an idea. But i see you gave had your reassurance now and everythings okay xxxx

Sorry, I haven't updated in a little while... I was away on holidays and just got back yesterday...
It was nice to be away... I can no hear little bean's heartbeat with my doppler at home... that's such a relief to check up once in a while... I have my second doc's appointment this Friday... still need to make the appointment with the midwife.. I've filled out the form but just haven't heard from them for an appointment.. maybe I need to call...

We’re just staying home on Christmas Day, enjoying the children and probably won’t have a roast as we are over at my mums on Boxing Day for a big Christmas dinner with all the family. Going to pay respects at dads grave Christmas Eve. Not really sure what to expect being the first year without him. Just hope mum is okay really.

sounds like a great plan to stay in on Xmas day... sometime the rush is just too much... We are also trying to avoid too much parties and gatherings over the holidays and trying to have quite family time...

Gosh I don’t recall exactly the week/day. I’m sure with DS it got pushed back 10 or 11 days (felt like a lifetime at the time) because I’d had the bleeding and early scan showing I was a week behind LMP dates. With DD it was before Christmas as I think I was 13 weeks on Christmas. Have you not got it booked in already? Mine was booked in by the midwife at my 8 week appointment.

no here, we get a requisite from the doc and call to make the appointment ourselves... I am still seeing my family doc.. my first midwife appointment is on Jan 15th... I think the test needs to be done between 11-14 weeks...
I had a bit of a scare this weekend.. had some brown spotting on Friday night... but was able to find the heart beat which was a bit of a relief.... kept checking for heart beat and rested all day Saturday... the spotting seem to have stopped now... so I am a little relieved... could have been old blood?
