Our Crazy General Rambling Chat Thread(Men in Leotards Welcome!)

Opening line for today: My daughter is trying to eat her duck.

Now if that was a stuffed cat I would have some inappropriate comments to make ;)
Can't think of anything to say about a duck though

^^

She's adorable cowboy. Is it really cold where you are already? I can't wait to bust out all of Emma's cute sweaters and jeans when we move back home. :D Here it's still in the 70s and 80s. :dohh:

It has been super cold! 43f right now, 30s tonight. Windy, rainy, etc

EEK!! I'm getting nervous about being home again through a winter. I don't even have an ice scraper for my car anymore. :haha: Simple things like that are going to take getting used to again. I did buy a cute new peacoat with scarf and gloves though! :haha:

I got all Alex's winter stuff now :) Camoflage hat and mittens, wee boots, and a very nice wool jacket :)

I'll post a picture of babygirl in her hat and mittens soon! So cute!

My husband moved to Boston before we met... he was born and raised here... he didn't have an ice scraper either, so he used his birkenstocks

Wow, we got quiet all of a sudden... here's something to keep us going.

I present, the Teddy Bear Picnic Massacre (a Halloween decoration I did back when I worked at the university bookstore)
Here is the album: Teddy Bear Picnic Massacre

and a teaser https://i288.photobucket.com/albums/ll165/bethijimika/Teddy%20Bear%20Massacre/tbpm2.jpg

Here's the hat and mittens pic, as promised.

Now who is massacring teddies??? Poor teddy... :nope:

OMG! LOL!

Lisaf, that's amazing! Very creative, lmao.

I just have two questions:

What's the blood made of?

And who the hell has that many teddies??

The blood is just construction paper.
I wasn't allowed to destroy any teddies, so for the decapitated ones I had to stuff the head inside the body, lol.

We would get hundreds of teddy bears in for Christmas, give them away free with a $100 purchase. Then we'd donate the leftover bears to a toy drive to give to needy kids at Christmas :)
This year, the bears had extra fur on their eyebrows and they looked like pure evil.
We sorted the bears into an 'evil' pile and a 'good' pile depending on how they looked, then added evil eyebrows to some to make them look even more evil, hehe.

TV, Fire and lots of sweets. No kids around here so we wont get any visitor unfortunately. At our old house we use to get lots and I loved it but not anymore, can't wait to have my own little horror chicken.

Contemplating strangling the next person who rings the bell! Abbie's trying to sleep and getting really upset at being wakened by constant ding-donging by impatient trick or treaters! :(
