September Clomid Users!

AJR - Even if you always O on certain days before Clomid, it will most likely change while you're on Clomid... so don't worry about being late yet (especially since you took Clomid on the later end).

AFM - Blood work relatively normal! AMH is a little low and Estradiol are a little low, but nothing jumped out as problematic. The RE said he'll evaluate fully after all the results are in (including HSG) and we have our consultation. As for the ultrasound - Cyst is back to that 58 mm measurement  So more information is still needed there to see how much of that growth was from Clomid. Also found out why this cycle was so exceedingly painful - Apparently that problematic Ovary has twisted behind my uterus... so now it puts pressure on my uterus/bowel/bladder/back.... Oh well. It is what it is for now.

Wow, that is a lot to digest in one afternoon that is for sure. although you are at least getting answers, some anyhow. :flower:

Well kind of happy that I am not feeling the same way as I did last month on clomid. Not as much movement in the ovaries, back, legs etc... my BBT is still erratic and maybe I am just speaking too soon. -.- hope not!
Tonight I will be taking #3 - well shall see tomorrow I suppose. :)

How is everyone else doing?

20years - My temps were all over the place at the beginning of this month!! Including some temps higher than I normally even get in my LP! It looks like they've leveled out now though (around day 8-9)

AFM - HSG today! Hope it goes better than yesterdays appt (although I don't have high expectations)

Hi ladies! Can I join you? My RE started me on Clomid (50mg) this cycle to hopefully help me ovulate sooner, shorten my cycle, and get rid of lots of mid-cycle spotting. My DH is going to be out of town for the anticipated fertile period, so the RE suggested using this month as a trial run to see if it fixes my cycle. He is pretty sure I am ovulating and wanted to try this before other tests. Anyone else using Clomid to move O to an earlier day (and is it working)? Thanks!

Praying - I was put on clomid to try to make my O earlier (and my LPs longer) - Neither happened, but I was only on it for one month, so don't give up hope just based on my experience.

AFM - Whew! If anyone needs an HSG we should chat lol. Apparently there are two ways to get it done, an easy way and a hard way. According to my doc most radiologists use the hard way which is VERY painful. The easy way is basically no worse than a pap smear!
As for the results - my uterus is good, no major c sec scarring, and my right tube is good. We're a little less sure on the left tube (the side with the cyst). There was dye at the top and bottom, but the middle area wouldn't show the contrast - so the tube is probably getting squeezed by the cyst but not fully blocked. They'll get a better idea when they write up the final report.

Hey everyone - so my little update is that it looks like we're going to take a little break to switch clinics. Our donor suddenly said he was open to working with us again, but we don't feel comfortable relying on him month to month. So we're going to work with a specialist to bank his sperm and then we can use it as we need to. It's a bummer to skip a month but I have to say I'm a little happy with the break. Sad because I want to start this family of ours, but happy to step outside the tcc bubble for a minute. Plus, clomid did a number on me last month so it'll be good to let my body recover a bit.

Anyway - I'll continue to pop in and keep tabs on all of you. GL this month everyone!!

I hope your body recovers quickly and that you're new clinic is everything you need!

I never knew opks were so hard. I thought it would be simple but of course not. Everything about ttc has to be difficult lol. Tell me how this looks. The top one is yesterday CD 17 and the bottom one today. (Its so nice having your new cycle start on the first!)

Thank you! I felt like I was never going to get positive on anything. How are you doing?

today is the last day I have to take the clomid for. I am miserable, so miserable, cranky and irritable. And I have a project due on Monday. I am currently in school - second year of a DSW course. (Developmental Service Worker) Im just not having fun today. DD is home for the weekend as well and I feel as though I am snappy at her and I don't mean to be. DH says that I should just blame everything on the Clomid. LOL sigh, I guess tomorrow will be better

Lol! You're overflowing with estrogen, definitely blame the clomid! I'm getting super impatient, I'm used to a 28 cycle and took another taste today. The test line was darker than the control plus I'm feeling pretty crampy and had some red spotting so I'm probably due to ovulate tomorrow on CD 20. I'm ready to know if this worked!

Hey ladies!!!
How is everyone???!!!
Afm: I'm in my 2nd tww on clomid pos opk cd 14 neg by 5pm on cd 15. Today I'm cd 17. Confused a lil on what dpo I am I want to say 2dpo? Is that correct? This cycle I had way less side effects from clomid no major crankiness no sore nips and no insomnia. Just hot flashes during the day of the five days I took the clomid

I am the same way, not to many symptoms with this round of clomid. Im still waiting to O but if i read correctly you will O the same time each time you are on clomid. So for me that will be 5 days after my last pill and this lands on thursday. I started using OPKs today was a negitive, but will continue to use them and restart taking my temp at 5 too.

@20yrs yeah I O'd five days after last pill this cycle and last. And I'm so glad for the less side effects this cycle.

I hear you, Im not even having sore BB's - I was like wow am I even coming up to Oing?

here's hoping, Im peeing a lot more though and ive been trying desperately not to get up so that my temps are correct. I am also getting sick, throat is so sore and dry. I am pumping myself full of Vit,C Im taking 2000mg now - I was only taking 500mg just as preventative measures. Sigh. I guess tomorrow will be my happy face.

Sooooooooo to all the ladies on here; I am on round two of clomid - Doctor told me that I only get 3 rounds and that is it after that I would have to go to more serious measures (that I can not afford) So my question to everyone is,
******** when would you BD. ********
DH's Morph was low and he only had 49mil swimmers - I know it sounds good but normal is double that.
Would you BD on the day you get the happy face knowing you O the next day or would you BD the day you O? Or would you take the chance and BD on both days - knowing that he does not have the chance to rebuild his boys?

Id say the day you get your smiley. From what I heard you want Sperm to already be waiting for the egg to release. Some one feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

I agree, I would do it the day before so you have the sperm waiting. Then the day of! Having sex the day of O will not effect the sperm from the day before :) So do both for sure! I know it sounds silly but both months I got pregnant I layed in bed with my knees bent up for a little bit and just played on my phone. I did it this month so we'll see lol but gravity does seem to help a little bit.
