Stopping BCP to TTC***Updates & Progress/Noted Changes Since Stopping BCP***24BFPs***

MsE, that's so amazing! Your life must be like a movie :D So badass! :D

Aw, I'm loving all this furbaby talk! There's a woman near me who has a Bengal cat & walks him on a lead through the fields, hehe. Sox (my dog) & I bumped into them one day.. Sox is a whippet cross and likes to chase cats! Whoops, good job this kitten was on a lead! Bless, so cute!

I've got so many fur babies, I have 2 bunnies, 3 guinea pigs, a hamster, a dog, a chinchilla & 2 fish tanks :D

MrsH - I worked for a year in a big pet shop here, then running my own pet care business for 10 months :) I'm sure you'll get there! Can you volunteer at a rescue centre or something similar? I'm glad it's not just us going a while without DTD! I thought there was something wrong with us!

hehe, i have always had rescuec my whole life. 10 years ago gmy little boy from katrina. poor thing was so sick they gave him 1 year. but, me being insane....bottle fed him and gave him baby food for about 4 years. now...he's doing just fine!

so i treated myself to a bengal. she's a F1 so she a little terror in her own right.

OH is allergic as well. but...i said my cat is a part of me, get over it. LOL

You guys all have some pretty awesome jobs!

Cdex, my hubby works for an organization that provides care to adults with developmental disabilities. It's such an amazing organization and job. I've gotten to meet quite a few of his residents a few times, and I've gone to their birthday dinners a few times. I just love it! I know you're not supposed to have favorites (or rather, he's not supposed to with being the employee) but there's one gentleman in his early 60's that we both just want to adopt! :) That's awesome that you're a volunteer firefighter too! Wow!

Charmed, that's such a cool job that you have! Or rather, had! That's awesome! And a huge congrats to you on getting the new job!!!!! Yay!!! So happy for you! I know it will be sad to leave your current clients. :( But this will be a great opportunity for you and you'll still be able to be around animals at least!

I like cats too but I'm also definitely more of a dog person. We currently have 3 dogs, and often I think we're crazy for having so many! We had 2, a lab/pointer mix and a boxer, and then we had this other little guy that we were fostering (for the 2nd time). We knew we weren't letting him go anywhere though as we just love him too much, so we made it official and adopted him last Friday. So now we're officially at 3! Oy!

Afm, I'm the office manager for my sister and brother-in-law's plumbing company. They started the company 2 1/2 years ago and it's been just them so far. In May I quit my job of 10 years and came to work for them. So I just work out of their house in their basement, it's really awesome and super laid back. I can wear whatever I want to work every day, we get to run fun errands together sometimes, I get to work from home one day a week, and I get to see my niece and nephews pretty much every day! At this point in time since I'm their only employee I pretty much do everything that's not the actual plumbing work.

Charmed I worked for a pet store (Petsmart) for two years before my job now so I have that experience. And my best friend is an organizer for a Husky Rescue (I'm also on a husky forum and go to monthly meet ups, they're my fav) and once I quit working I may start helping out with that. I don't think I could foster though. I've been asked by another rescue but I turned it down.

Oh and me too on the DTD. I mean if I didn't get hit on all the time on my way to work I would think something was wrong. I blame him lol. And now I'm just used to how he is.

Oh, and Charmed. I've noticed myself feeling pretty icky this O time too. I honestly am not sure if I usually do or not but if so, I don't think it's been this bad. I've been feeling nauseous in the mornings for last 3 days, and just so run down and tired. Also, my Crohn's Disease seems to be acting up some as well, I'm hoping that will go away once I move further away from my O date. I hope you start feeling better soon! :)

Turtle I hope you feel better! My sister has Crohn's as well and it sucks what she has to go through sometimes. It's in remission now so I hope it stays like that for a long time!

Jobs and pets eh? I haven't been able to work for a while due to chronic pain from a car accident, but I'm looking into what I can make to sell in an Etsy shop so I can work at my own pace. Friend of ours is a movie extra and I've considered doing that as well once we get a car since it's actually super low-key physically, but I'm not sure how that would work with a baby.

I've got two kitty fur babies! Our younger kitty keeps our hands full. I keep saying she's conditioning us to have our own baby since she gets into everything and puts everything she finds in her mouth! :haha:

Woke up at 4am today, feeling really sick :( I can't believe it. I've had to call my customers and cancel my visits today. I feel so guilty, but I feel so sick! It's now half 5am & I'm no closer to sleep. Every time I start to drift off, I feel sick again. It's waaay too early for any pregnancy symptoms (if I have even ovulated!) So I must have some sort of bug. Hope it doesn't last too long.

I don't mind the work I do :) it's only a small company, has its ups and downs but I don't often have to get mean with anyone luckily :haha: just take a lot of crap from angry customers sometimes!

A random ttc question for you girls: do you ever spot after bd before you ov? It happens to me randomly during my cycle, before ov or after and happened last night, it's starting to bug me :(

I'm sorry you're feeling sick Charmed. I hope it goes away quickly! :hugs: Late congrats on your new job, too!

I do occasionally spot right after BD, patience. It's either immediately after or the morning after. It doesn't happen too often, but enough that it's kinda normal for me. We've always just blamed it on our anatomies. I'm a petite person all over and DH is well... not.

I've got a coming-off-BC question for you all! Did anyone get dry eyes and mouth after stopping? I've been getting it on and off this past couple weeks and it's pretty annoying! I've been drinking a ton of water since this started happening but it doesn't help.

Speaking of feeling icky, I often get ill around ov (and then again in 2ww) now feeling unwell and so is hubby, still a couple of days from ov so hopefully we'll feel better by then!

I basically always have a dry throat so hard to tell, I don't think this long after that it's bcp related for me at least.

Feeling better about the spotting already, I read somewhere it can be from the estrogen surge, hope that means I'm getting enough to thicken my lining! I wonder if i can do anything about it after ov except the useless progesterone cream....

oh patience....that sounds good! i believe i read on another post something similar.

don't get sick! poor thing!

i always feel the same...i don't know what i'm waiting for...some big change i guess.

i need to stop drinking my morning tea. caffine and all. it's my one vise. it just keeps me awake!

Well tea is better than coffee at least :) i only ever drink non caffinated (can't even spell it lol) tea, and always loose tea it tastes 100x better than teabags :) when I'm not guzzling fertilitea I drink red rooibos tea which is always spicy, lots of cinnamon and cardamom etc :) might be worth a try!

Charmed sorry you're getting sick.

Patience yes this cycle I spotted right before O. It was very faint but there was definitely a little blood.

MsE you can drink a little tea.... I don't really drink that much caffeine anymore. Once a week I'll get a Starbucks and the rest of the week I drink one cup of tea or hot chocolate.

Well I'm not even going to bother with the TWW this cycle. I can pretty much guarantee I'm out. I told DH he just needs to wake me up in the morning since he's too tired at night and quite frankly, with the stress of buying a house I'm not much in the mood by the end of the day either. He said that's usually when he wants it so he's fine with that lol. He just fears waking the bear.... :D

Well ladies, when I left for Florida it was on page 237, now that i'm FINALLY checking back we are on page 249!!! lol.

Welcome lavendar!

Turtle Thanks for asking! I'm doing well. Funeral was nice and we had laughs as well as tears.

I think we missed O this cycle since I was in a different state, but we BD before I left and BD last night. it would be a miracle if I got a BFP this cycle. Had my blood testing for O on Monday. I'm pretty much just waiting for AF to get here around the 1st of November.

Sorry I skimmed through all the new pages but I honestly didn't retain all of it. haha. At my job I'm allowed to take 12 weeks of maternity leave, but it's not paid unless I have vacation time saved up. Which I would only have about a weeks worth so we are TRYING to save up for when I take leave, but of course things keep happening and I have to use the money....

We have 2 dogs and Charlie (our boxer) sometimes refuses to get off of the bed while we are DTD so that makes things interesting. lol. :)

I will try to read the posts again so I can really catch up. xoxoxoxo

WB Charlie :) Haha, your dog is so funny! Ours insists on being in the room, it really puts me off! He tends to leave when we hit the big finale though! Hahahaha :haha:

I've had a rotten day, feeling so ill. I reckon it's all stress related, I'm worrying about telling my customers that I will be leaving them, nervous about starting a new job.. Ack. Then there's TTC on my mind & the fact that I'm not sticking to my diet. Argh. So much worry!

Hi Charlie! I'm sorry for the loss of your great grandmother. My grandmother passed away on the 10th and her funeral is Thursday. I've been too sick to travel, so unfortunately I'll miss it, but I'm slowly recovering enough that DH and I are seeing if we can make it the next week to visit family and at least go and pay our respects to her then.

You're not alone with pets on the bed! Our younger kitty sometimes sits at the corner, probably confused as to what's going on. :haha:

I do wonder about the seasonal changes and my dry eyes & mouth. It's just one symptom of many since the beginning of the month! Dizzy, feeling faint, fuzzy-headed, etc. Dry eyes I can blame on turning on the baseboard heaters being newly turned on and my dust allergies, the rest I don't know! No AF yet either. I wonder how long it'll take for that to show again. I keep getting crampy feelings like I'm about to have it and nothin. I guessed I'd get it this week but with coming off BC who knows.

Want to buy a cure button to make everyone feel better, haha.
