Oh man, that really sucks about your evening at DH's brother's house! I'm so sorry! That must have been really rough. I don't blame you for wanting to run out of there, I would have too! Charmed, thanks to you as well! And thanks for helping inspire me to come up with something. I'm really sorry that AF got you. I really hope your first day today is going great, and that you love it!!! I'm also sorry about the pressure and insensitive comments you've gotten from your family as well. I think people don't think about how what they're saying can be really hurtful, especially if they've never struggled with it at all.

Charlie, I can imagine that you are excited for that! Haha! So sorry that AF really did come for you as well.

I've been off the BCP since stopping mid-May (I stopped mid-pack, wish I wouldn't have). My cycles have been a steady 25-26 days with a 12 day LP and lasting about 5 days. However, my most recent cycle lasted 28 days and my last two periods have been noticeably shorter and lasted 2-3 days I began BBT charting in July and using OPKs but have completely stopped since my last menses hoping that a "relaxed" method will work.

Any other ladies going off BC notice a shortened period?

Turtle I think if I test when he's around I'll show him but if not, then I'll do something cutesy. I usually like to POAS when he's home so he can hug me when it's a BFN.
Oh and I had a talk with DH and asked him to please find a way to tell his parents not to badger us about it. It really bothered me and he said he would. He didn't like it much either. They didn't mean any harm at all but when you get a BFN you don't want someone asking you about it. Thankfully, my mom doesn't do that. She knows she'll know when it happens.

I think I'm going to test before I go to the doc. I just think it's weird I haven't gotten AF and now the infection. I guess they don't test for pregnancy when they check it for a UTI. Probably nothing but....

MrsH they actually did test me for pregnancy last night! First thing they did when i handed them my cup o' pee. I wanted to laugh when the nurse was like "well youre not pregnant!" I didnt tell her it was my O day, haha. Wouldn't hurt to ask if they can do a pregnancy test, too. I hope you feel better and get some answers. I'm glad DH is going to talk with the in-laws. Last thing you need is pressure!

Big big hugs Patience. Taking a break is more than understandable after all you've gone through. We'll miss you! We'll be here for you when you feel ready to come back. I hope your surgery goes well and that the new specialist can help you!

I almost forgot to get pictures of the little bottles and jars of stars! I have a few more that I need fix up to get them photo-ready. DH and I think I could totally make toys for a LO if I used plastic bottles and glued them shut.

Strangely I feel really deflated for the rest of this month because of last night. Both the UTI and my neck/shoulder feel better today, but it's the UTI that really did me in! I think it's the fact that there won't be any more BD around my fertile window this cycle (antibiotics are making my tummy churn - not good for DTD). I used to be terribly prone to UTIs before so I just hate having one again. I'll keep my fingers crossed for the TWW but I don't have high hopes.

Lavender they did end up testing me for pregnancy. BFN! I told the doc we were trying and I hadn't gotten my AF, so he did just in case. I guess it matters because you can't be on certain antibiotics. I'm so glad I went in when I did. I had a fever when the nurse took it and now my bladder is on fire! I had to pick up some AZO this morning and I'm just waiting for it to work. These antibiotics actually aren't making my stomach upset.

Well we're finally closing on our house tomorrow. I probably won't be back on here until Monday. Unless I need something to do to get away from DH lol.

Well ladies. Today is CD3 I pick up my clomid tonight after work. I bought some fertility herbs. They probably won't be here in time to help with anything but I bought them anyway. Lol. We will see I guess.

My CD21 will be on a Sunday so I'll have to go to the hospital for my blood draw this month. I know that we have solved half the battle since I wasn't ovulating but I'm feeling bummed that I'm not pregnant yet. I'm praying 3rd times a charm is the case with the clomid. I really don't want to take it longer than 3 cycles.

I think I completely goofed and confused myself with my OPKs this time around. I'm not 100% positive I O'd anymore. I might have, but I had a glance of today's test after 10 minutes and it looked like my test on the 3rd. Eep. CM seems to tell me I did, but I won't know for sure unless of course I get a BFP.

But good news is I don't have burning dragon pee anymore from the UTI!

So I went to the pharmacy to pick up my clomid and the freaking nurse never called it in!! I have to start taking it Friday! I left I message tonight and I'm calling again tomorrow morning. I'm so irritated! Don't tell me your going to refill my prescription and then not do it! Grrrrr😤😈

Welcome, MamaBunny! I think my periods have been shorter since coming off the pill too, but consistently shorter since stopping it so I don't think that's much help to you. Sorry I couldn't really answer your question much, but I wanted to be sure to say hi at least! Hope you get some answers soon!

Thanks Turtle Looks like we've been TTC for around the same amount of time. Did you stop taking BC right before TTC? I'm hoping this short thing I have going on doesn't affect my chances If I don't conceive by early next year my doc is going to schedule an HSG to check my tubes. At least I won't have long to wait. In the meantime, I'm TRYING to relax!!!

At least the 2 of you are on the same page with this! Also, good luck closing on your house today! I hope everything goes smoothly with the signing and with the moving. So excited for you!

Lavender, I really like those bottles, those are great! How cute! I'm sorry that you feel so deflated this cycle. I really hope you start feeling better about it soon, and that you start feeling better physically soon too! Yay for no more burning dragon pee at least!

Charlie, so sorry that they haven't called in your script yet! Were you able to talk to them today about it when you called?

MamaBunny, yeah it does look like we've been trying for roughly the same amount of time! I did stop taking it right before starting to try, which was at the end of June. So sounds like about 1 1/2 months after you. I think my cycles have finally really straightened themselves out, as I know tend to O on cd13 or 14, and typically have a 13 day lp on average. So a 26-27 day cycle seems to be my norm, which I'm more than happy with! I'm very lucky too, as my dr said if we haven't conceived after 6 months of trying to come back and she'll start tests. I know that compared to most people, I'm REALLY lucky that she's willing to start testing me so early! So if nothing happens by the beginning of the year, it looks like that's when I'll be headed back in too! I hope the change in your cycles doesn't mess anything up for you either, and that they regulate out soon! Thankfully it doesn't sound like they're *too* far off from your norm though, so hopefully that's a good sign. Keep us posted!

Afm, the arrived on Tuesday, so I'm on cd3 now. That's ok, I didn't have high hopes for last cycle anyways. Not temping or using opk's really helped me relax a lot more throughout the cycle, and I'm planning on doing that again this go-around. I didn't even symptom spot, and I think that helped keep my sanity! I'll be shooting for that again. I do think I'll add pre-seed to the mix though this time and see if that helps anything, as I don't tend to produce a lot of fertile cm around O time. Maybe it'll help those swimmers get where they're supposed to go!

Turtle we are close I'm on CD 4 . Yes finally got my prescription in hand tonight. I start taking it tomorrow!

So since AF was kinda weird I took another HPT just a regular one and it was of course BFN but I wanted to make sure before I started taking the clomid. I just wasn't as crampy this time around like I was bleeding like normal but no cramps. It was odd. Oh well!!

Turtle in so glad you were so relaxed this cycle!! It's nice not to stress. And so awesome you have a great Dr too!! 😀

Welcome Mamabunny, apologies for not replying sooner! I'm still waiting to see what my body does after BC, but it seemed like I may have a shorter cycle this time around as my CM changed around much earlier than I expected. My cycles before BC stayed right around 29 days.

I hope things go well for you this cycle, Turtle! It's great to hear you're feeling better with taking a relaxed approach TTC. You gotta tell me how you like pre-seed. That's something I'm considering if things don't happen. I'm kinda adding one thing per cycle.

I'm still getting nausea and I am placing the blame on my antibiotics. My husband was amusing and joked about me already being pregnant and asked me if I took a test. I had to laugh and explain to him that it's waaaaay too early to test. I wish I could test now, lol!

AFM...I spent the weekend in bed, just got myself well enough to go to work this morning. Funny how that works. Too sick on the weekend to do fun things.... lol. At least I'm caught up on my TV shows!

SO OH came with me to the dr. The visitor chair was at the end of the table. Got quite the view when the Dr gave me a pap. Lol. He tried to avert his eyes. I should recommend they move that. Lol
