Oh in this house that's no biggy lol. He's used to doing things like that. He just said yup and we went on. Danzig had roundworms when he was a pup so he had dig through poo then and Wyatt just had colonitis and we needed a sample for that too. I'm to the point I don't even gag doing stuff like that.

Mamabunny: I was doing OPKS and I would get positive tests so I thought I was ovulating, but my cycles were really long (42 days on average). Then my period stopped coming all together and I was still getting positive OPKS and Negative HPTS . went to the Dr and had blood work done to check my hormones and all that jazz. Dr said I wasn't ovulating and that my body just wasn't sending a strong enough signal to do so. So I started clomid

I'm hoping my experience BBT charting and regular temp rises along with + OPKs ensures that I am indeed ovulating. And I'm so sorry to see that showed

MrsH, I'm so sorry about the parasite! Ugh, I'd be super furious too!!! If it makes you feel any better, my dad had one a few years ago too (which he also found in the same fun way that you did!). They actually thought it was some weird, unknown (or rarely known) thing at first and even sent it off to the CDC for testing. Thankfully it came back being one of the ones you mentioned (I can't remember which). No idea how he got his either. Between that and Lavender, you're not alone!

Charlie, I'm so very sorry that the arrived! Sending big your way as well! I am wondering the same as Twinkie, do you plan on doing Clomid again next cycle?

So I have Ascariasis. Nasty little things need to get out but they don't keep the treatment on hand so they have to order it and it could take a couple days. So annoying!!!! I haven't seen anymore so that's good.

Here's my dilemma. There's only one treatment and it's harmful to a potential fetus. The doc said to take a HPT again to make sure but it's not like I can't take it. The more I hold off the more they reproduce so I have no choice. I'm hoping it's early enough that it will be fine but who knows. I guess I could not even be pregnant. I have to go see my PCP next week for a follow up.

MrsH I hope you can get your treatment started without the scare of harming a possible pregnancy! That's such a tough spot to be in, not knowing

Thanks mamabunny! I just talked to the nurse because she was having a hard time filling it and I talked to her more. She said it's only one pill so at least I'll be taking it early enough that I could be in the clear. I'm doing all this worrying and with my luck I won't even be pregnant.

If it was me I'd be concerned too, but like you said it's good that you can take the pill early enough that if you do end up with a everything will be just fine

Whew, that's good that it's early enough that a potential little bean won't be harmed by the medicine! Medical treatments make the not knowing super tough with all the fuss though, agh!

Out of curiosity I just had to Google Ascariasis. Seems like one of the risks for getting it is "living in or visiting a warm climate." Hmm, like Brazil?
