Hi Melonpan! As I always say, the first month is awful.

Not that you all need to hear my pregnancy woes but I was so sick over the weekend I was on the verge of going to Urgent Care. I couldn't even keep water down and got really dehydrated. But I was introduced to Preggie Pops and can once again eat! Not much but I can.

Oh Charlie, it's so upsetting A few of my FB friends have announced pregnancies over Xmas. I am happy for them, one of them, I know has had many miscarriages & was starting to lose hope.. But there's still this part inside of me that is upset and jealous. Pathetic really. Poor girl has had her own battle! I'm kind of avoiding FB a little bit..Maybe you could do the same?

My FIL is doing well, thank you MrsH. He was grumpy that he couldn't taste his Xmas dinner, but at least he was out of the hospital!! I am so sorry you've been so unwell I'm glad you're able to eat something at least! I have everything crossed that it eases for you soon xx

AFM.. My acid reflux has flared up & last night I was in absolute agony! I phone our NHS helpline, but they were no use. Told me to wait until morning to see my GP. They did tell me it was ok for me to take a double dose of my ranitidine though, that helped (along with some gaviscon), I was still in pain, but managed to get a little sleep at least! My GP was no use, she's prescribed me some meds that aren't safe for during pregnancy - or even while TTC!! It's on my notes as well. I'm rather annoyed, I paid for the prescription & can't return it. Argh. I have a double appointment booked for next week, hopefully something useful will come of it.

I deleted my FB years ago. When I was going thru marital issues...it killed me to see the "happy couples" no one is that happy 24/7. Lol. And I would get so jealous...I wanted to go on vacation! Most of my friends are teachers....so I'd hear..."ugh, three more weeks tI'll Christmas break" meanwhile I get 1 day off. Lol

Now....if you want me to see anything, text or email. It's more personal. Lol

Or I'm just jaded. Lol. But I don't miss it at all!

Yes Twinkie! Next week I can test! I should be getting my Ovulation blood test back tomorrow.

As for no FB its hard because that's how my family keeps track of each other since we all live so far apart.

I'm not having any symptoms at all, usually my boobs hurt a little and nothing. No idea what that means. I hope it doesn't mean I didn't Ovulate. Of course I'm a worry wart these days. Lol.

I got my FX Charlie!

As for FB, I shut my down for about a month awhile ago. But then I realized my issues were from other people so I started it back up and deleted all the negative people. It's been great since. But you can't really do that for what you're talking about. For those situations I just hide them from my news feed. I was just thinking how weird it will be that our child can track my life from age 17 on, one day....

No news on my results yet, I called and left a message this morning so hopefully they will call me back sooner than later. I'm totally procrastinating at work today. Like seriously not sure how I'm going to get paid for all 8 hours I will have been here by the end of the day. Lol.

Haha we're into lifted Jeeps (how we met) and I now have a lifted Nissan Xterra. It will be fun getting my big pregnant behind in it lol. But hey I'll have a sweet mommy car. DH just traded his really cool Jeep for a Toyota 4Runner . I was really sad but he did it so we have room for a baby and the dogs. He works at 4 Wheel Parts so we get a lot of stuff for free. I've always been into guys with cool cars. I blame my mechanic dad.

That's annoying Charlie! And cool about your DH! Really I've always judged men on if they could change my oil or not lol. Like today I had a weird light come on and all I had to do was call him and he said it was just from the cold but he'll check it. I love that!

I'm not doing much at work either but I really should since I have the rest of the week off and need to get my boss ready for some meetings he has Monday and this weekend.

I've always been into the tiny sports cars. Must have a turbo. LOL. I think I've had them all. Got a Ford ST now...it can fit a baby...but stroller...I'll have to measure. It's a hatchback so you never know...you know? Not QUITE ready for a mommy car. LOL. I've only ever driven standard and finding those are like a rare art form I swear. I figure at some point...later down the road...I'll get a full size sedan. Just not quite sure what...

OH has a hybrid right now. So his 40mpg compared to my 10mpg...needless to say I've had my car a year and only have 3k miles on it. LOL

Today...we aren't doing much. Relaxing! We're going to get me a burger. yeah I know...but I want one. LOL. and going to see Unbroken. I read the book so looking forward to the movie.

MsE, I totally understand about it being hard to find a standard! I absolutely love driving a manual transmission and just don't enjoy driving an automatic. I've owned them...just don't like to. My last few cars (the 2 we have now and the one prior to that) I've very specifically looked for manual transmission when car shopping and with my last car, I gave up ALL options just to have that...it was manual locks and windows, tape player, and no cruise control. That's how much I wanted it! You're so right that they're getting harder and harder to find, which makes me sad! We are a Subaru family and both drive one now...my daily driver is a WRX so it's a turbo as well. And so much fun to drive!...although I'm much more of a conservative driver than DH is. Unbroken sounds good, I'll definitely have to check out the book! You'll have to let us know how the movie is as well. Enjoy that and the burger!

We do Jeeping too. DH has a jeep and I have an FJ cruiser both are lifted. He has a lot more on his them I do on mine. Since I'm still paying for mine. Lol.

In other news....I just talked to the Dr office. I might be sick.... I didn't Ovulate at all. Which would explain the lack of sore boobs.... I'm so sad.

I can't drive manual. DH has tried to teach me twice but both times ended in a fight about how I was ruining his clutch lol. We may get a subaru down the line. That's only "car" I would drive.

Charlie my sister had a lifted FJ. That thing was bad ass. We go four wheeling all the time and now I'm sad because that's probably not a good idea now.

Turtle.....cool. I had an Evo X. But after all the aftermarket parts...it got a little quirky with electrical. We all know there's no coming back from electrical issues. So...next. lol

DH just told me he loves me with or without my eggs, which made me laugh and cry at the same time. I don't want to go back to work.
