Stopping BCP to TTC***Updates & Progress/Noted Changes Since Stopping BCP***24BFPs***

No, and I did test cd5 before taking my first Femara, and had a relativly normal AF before, sigh

Take it easy, and you never know, many many women spot before their BFP! Drink Grapefruit juice I heard it helps implantation! Haha
But seriously, it's good that you didn't stop your progesterone after all :)

Oh so you did double check :haha: yeah i'm trying to relax, just feels like almost CD1 amount of watery blood and cramps atm, but my test this afternoon is stronger... the mind f*** of my TTC life is going to be the end of me !

https://s284.photobucket.com/user/p... Uploads/20150220_153922_zps79anv0sy.jpg.html if anyone wants to see ! (though my list of squinters is long from my past :haha: )

I'm cramping and spotting just like before AF though, why isn't the progesterone working ?!

Hi ladies! Sorry I've been absent for a couple of days. I've been reading, just keep not really finding the time to respond!

Patience, I soooo hope this is it for you!!! I have everything crossed as tightly as I can that the cream will do it's job and that this little one will stick!!!! I do see the line, and it definitely looks darker on your second test! Come on little bean, hang in there!!!

Danna, that's really odd on your temps! I don't get that at all. I sure hope the Femera is just the ticket you need though!

Charmed, I'm so glad to hear the scan went well! And I'm also glad to hear that they didn't freak out over the dates. Like Patience, I was worried that they would freak out and think it was a mmc. So exciting! :)

MrsH, happy birthday!!!! I hope the little one gives you a break from your morning sickness today and lets you enjoy your day! :)

AFM, I have my HSG this afternoon, in about 3 hours. I'm nervous and anxious and excited all at the same time! My dr's office called me about an hour ago to say that DH's SA results are back...but since they're his results, they can't give them to me without his permission. :/ So he called them and left a message giving them permission to tell me, now I'm just (im)patiently waiting for their call back! :coffee: FX for good news, ladies! :)

Eeee i'm going mad here, I just don't have a good feeling :( but a nice improvement for 8hours between tests and a 20min hold :haha: poor bean is probably going to get flushed out... useless progesterone.

Wow you're far behind me ! It's 5.30pm here, you best update us asap ! Understandable that your hubby needed to give permission, but why did he not just take the results when he called up to give it to you ? :haha:

Oh Patience, that's not even a squinter, it's an obvious line! C'mon little baby stick in there!

Turtle, news? I hope everything is going well for your HSG

Hi ladies! This is my first month tossing the BCP pack! I traded in my little white pill for some significantly larger pre-natals! Eeee! I'm excited! (Like you couldn't tell from the exclamation points.)

Guess we'll see how it goes--I went one month without about six months ago because my pills got lost in the mail and I was still regular as rain with Aunt Flo, but who knows? =) We'll seeeeeeee! Should be O'ing around Feb 28th if the pills haven't messed with stuff too much. Good luck everyone!

Welcome Sierra! The first month off can be the worst, many of us swore blind we were pregnant :haha: I do hope you regulate soon, there's plenty of tips n tricks we've tried :)

So I heard you girls like to look at poas:

I'm buzzing right now, but sheets, this spotting and cramping is really hurting my joy!

Edit: looks SO much better on a phone screen!

Hahaha, patienceiav I feel like I thought that I was preggo every month for the last ten years I've been on BC. xD Guess this month will be no exception, just with a slightly more likely possibility of that being true!

Quick question--the rules say that you can't post BFP announcements, but if you were participating in a thread like this one, is it okay to follow up with that? Just curious!

I can't decide if I hope it happens right away, or if I want it to take in like, June. I'm a teacher, so timing sort of matters (like if you give birth in the summer months, you don't get your maternity leave!). Guess we'll see! Imperfect sciences...

It's so funny looking back at being on bcp and worrying about being preggers :haha: timing will never be perfect that's for sure, and being able to chose when you get pregnant even harder :D

In buddy threads like this it's fine, or at least we've been doing so for over a year :flower:

Well we got back DH's results...he has low morphology (his is 1% and they look for 4% or higher) and low total sperm count (his is 5.47 million and they said it should be 15 million or greater). He also has low concentration (4.5 million, should be 15 million or greater) but she said that's not really one they worry about. So now we're being referred onto an RE. I'm still having my test today (it's only 12:15 here now, so it's in just another hour or so), and that will at least give us an idea of what we're dealing with as far as I am concerned too. Blah. DH is not doing well, he's pretty upset. And it sucks because the way he processes things is to clam up and not talk about them, and to push everyone (including me) away. He also gets snippy and kind of jerky. I had to tell him that I know he's upset and that I'm totally there for him, but to please not take it out on me. Today's been a fun day... :/

Oh, and Patience...you were asking why he didn't just get the results when he called to give permission. He had to leave a message either way, and I can answer my phone at work much easier than he could. He told them that they could talk to either of us, it's just easier for me to take the call, and write everything down, etc. :)

Aww sorry to hear about his results :( guys try to be impartial but they take this stuff hard on their "manliness" as we do on our womanhood and ability to become mothers :hugs: sounds like you'd be a perfect candidate for an IUI; just get those swimmers straight inside the cervix to give them a fighting chance :) I also think they don't do IUI without giving you some drugs too, so it can't hurt to get some egg floofing up :haha:

Ahh, it deleted my post again. Grr.

Patience, that's amazing, I am so excited for you! FX this sticks xxx

Sierra, I had an awful time coming off BC, I was so sick with it! I hope it's not so bad for you xx

Turtle, I'm so sorry to hear about your DH's results :(I hope he opens up to you soon! FX your test goes well.

Sorry if I've missed anyone out, I have read the replies, my phone hates long posts. Argh

OK screw it I can't stay away lol.
Patience I have literally everything crossed!!! 💗💚❤💟💜

Turtle, sorry about DH results! But maybe it's an easy fix. And good luck on your HSG!

Welcome Sierra! Hope it goes well for you. I think announcing BFP is a thread by thread thing? Can't speak for other groups on B&B be here we're happy when our friends get their BFP : )

Turtle I'm sorry about those results, and how your SO is taking it, mine would probably react the same way... But I've heard it's fairly easy to improve sperm and I've seen people getting BFP with much worse results than those, I have everything crossed for you!
Also I hope your HSG went well, do tell us how it went : )

Haha Charlie, breaks are hard! The important thing is to do whatever makes you feel best and if it's talking to us on here from times to times, we're very happy about that! :)

Beautiful test Patience! Any news? I'm mad that you can't let yourself get excited, that's not fair!

Yeah turtle you should have had the HSG now! What's the news?

I'm still cramping loads and spotting red brown on and off, if i hadn't tested I would just assume af is on its way :( it certainly feels like she is, I can't even hope that 7th time is lucky cuz statistics for me show that af will kick in tomorrow. One restless night coming up!

Haha! Thanks, ladies. The HSG is over and all in all it went well. He had a really hard time getting the tube in because I guess my cervix was really narrow. He was having to use tools to try and dilate it, and couldn't get it. He finally tried using a second kit with different tools, and thankfully he finally got it. He seemed about to give up and said I might have to have my Dr dilate it and then come back at another time to do it, so I'm really thankful he got it. He said that's one of the three narrow areas you can have, so that could be part of our problem and opening it up could definitely help us. That wasn't comfortable but was not too bad. The contrast HURT a lot. But it went through and "spilled" like it's supposed to so that was great news! I do wonder if there wasn't some...debris...in there and if that's maybe why it hurt so bad, but if there was it appears to be cleared out now! Yay! I also wonder if it being so narrow might be why I've never been able to find my cervical opening? Anyways, all in all, good news! :)

Turtle--Ugh, those test results from your hubby are frustrating. Only takes one though, right? At least there are solutions! And I'm glad your test went well--that's good news!

Patienceiav--You never know; my best friend felt like her AF was going to come on like normal, everything started just like it normally did, and then... it stopped. And now her bun is about done! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Charmed--We'll see! I was off it for like, a month at the beginning of the school year and felt exactly the same. I'm sure y'all will be updated frequently, though. I like to talk. xD
