I have been sick since Friday, fever, loading on painkillers to get through the days, but I has to cuz my mum surprised me with a visit to Stockholm! I've been so happy this weekend it's been worth it calling in sick soon as mum goes home though!

My weekend was good, long though in the sense I was in a car for 8 hours this weekend. Short in the sense that I didn't have much of a weekend lol.

Patience, I'm so sorry that I forgot to come on here and tell you Happy Birthday yesterday!!! I do hope you had a wonderful day...although from the sounds of it, it doesn't seem like you were able to enjoy it much. Were you and DH still able to get away for the weekend or did being sick put a stop to that? I sure hope you get to feeling better soon!!!

Charlie, sorry you were stuck in the car for such a long time this weekend? That's always boring. Did you go anywhere fun at least?

Danna, that sounds like a fun, relaxing weekend!

We didn't do much this weekend; DH has had a lot of kidney pain with urinary frequency/urgency since last Monday that's been pretty bad. Friday we ended up in the ER to scan for kidney stones, which is exactly what it sounded like. The CT scan came back clear of stones though (and no UTI or kidney infection either) so now we have no idea what's going on. They prescribed him pain meds and muscle relaxers and sent us on our way, telling him to follow up with a urologist. :/ Hopefully he'll hear back from them soon to get that scheduled! As a result, we had a pretty restful, quiet weekend around the house!

Ahhh you got the new Zelda game ?! Eeee ! I Love Zelda, it's one of my fave childhood memories playing on my SNES I never had an N64 so i'm trying to play through that one now but it looks a bit hilarious on todays TVs

I had an AMAZING weekend ! I just had to load up on painkillers to survive and barely made it at that but having my mum appear in my kitchen on friday after work was the best thing ever ! To top it off hubby got me a gaming laptop for all my sick days in the sofa ! And I never sit at the PC and play when he's working on the weekends it's awesome ! I'm just TOO sick to stick to it now, just installing my fave bits I had a temp of 39C/102F this morning ! It goes up and down a lot, mostly I have just the usual flu nasties plus a rattly cough good job we're ignoring this month TTC lol !

Poor hubby Turtle that sounds really uncomfy ! I can't believe they didn't find anything, I do hope the meds help him be a little more comfortable til you can figure out what's up

Jeez 8hours in a car seems like a crappy way to waste a weekend day Charlie :/ what were you up to ? Was it something fun at least ?

Zelda is AWESOME. Also, Majora's Mask (the 2nd N64 game) is equally as awesome as Ocarina of Time... Just gotta get past the first part. =)

I am so busy I might die if I think about it too long... I have FOUR rehearsals for this show that I'm in, choir practice Thursday, church Sunday, TWO choir performances on Friday and Sunday, four meetings at work (already), and about 200 essays to grade. And what REALLY sucks about it is that slogging through it isn't getting me any closer to the end of my TWW... In fact, it's almost going by slower. =( I normally distract myself from impatience with happy things, but all of this is just too much. I feel like I'm constantly focusing on things that I don't want to do... Individually, most of it is stuff that I want to accomplish, but all at once, it just.. argh. Anyway. That's my rant. Maybe I'll skip sleep tonight and play some Zelda myself... xD
